We are none of us what we were in 1985, and that includes everyone born after that year. They are still exceptional performers and deserve kindness, not cracks about age and weight.
This is a brilliant song, and I am shaking my head at some of the mean and nasty comments posted in here. Why shouldn't older people be allowed to express their sexuality in performance? Look at Cher, Mick Jagger and Tina Turner for instance: they are well over 75 years old and they still have the X factor to them. Animotion might not have been in the same league as them hits wise, but kudos to them for getting up on stage and giving it all they've got 35 years later.
These two aged well. I was nine years old when their video first came out on MTV. Yes, they were always an attractive couple but they look better now then they did in 1985. Some people just look better as they age. Maybe they didn't eat enough protein in their diet in the 1980's or something. Some hollywood actors that are older are scary now and have aged poorly or have let themselves go. Then there is people like Nicole Kidman and Matthew McConaughey. Both never looked better.

As I said, you could smuggle some fairly hefty guitar stuff into mid 80s chart music and get away with it. Best of times, music-wise!
