Omg this brings back memories to hear Wales sing ,back in the 80s as a young Maori boy travelling around the world by my self I have some awesome memories of going to the old Cardiff Arms, one time they let me park inside the stadium meant for all the stars and bosses,my VW kombi looked a little out of place,if I remember it was the Maori vs Wales 1982/83 tour, watched most of the games on tour, the Welsh people were awesome and will never for get their hospitality,if you’re a rugby fan a tour of Wales is the ultimate believe me you will not forget the experience, love from Moorooka Brisbane ❤️❤️❤️
So happy to get all these matches for my collection during the lockdown, which made me jobless until it ends. Especially because rugby is not broadcasted in my country, only occasionally on a German channel (just like recently the not yet finished 6Nations). And I'm such a huge fan.
You are welcomed! It's a pity that a big country as Germany has not a professional rugby movement! That is because the Brits locked down their sport as an amateur divertissement until late 80s!! Otherwise Rugby would be a global sport with major countries like Germany involved! The gap still has to be fixed
Hosea Gear, Rico Gear, Tana Umaga. These three men, for me, are the most fearsome leaders of the Haka. The others don't quite meet their respective levels of intensity, passion of rendition and delivery.
The head-high tackle towards the end by that coward didn't even slow Richie down. If he did that now it'd be an automatic red card. I still remember when the ABs were gonna play Wales and were asked to do the HAKA before the anthems. The ABs did it in the locker room. The crowd was disappointed that they didn't get to see it. Like the commentators said they don't do the Haka for the crowd. They do it for themselves and the opposition.
If you look at the types of players New Zealand has produced. Between 2007 and 2012 it was all about how mentally strong the players were. Once 2012 rolled around the level of talent sky rocketed but I feel the level of cool calm under pressure type players took a hit.
Great to watch this game again, man it felt like I watching it live again. The All Blacks were awesome, they scored some fantastic tries and great defence. The only critique I have was some of the ref's calls. He started out ok but later on, some of his calls were starting to favour Wales: especially the head-high tackle on Richie and earlier on Dan Carter? how could he and the match officials missed those cowardly shots.
All through his international career, McCaw was targeted by morons and cowards who tried to put him off his game with cheap and nasty shots. Those morons and cowards were too stupid to realise was that it didn't work - McCaw's on-field commitment and concentration on the game were complete. He might take a few seconds to get over a cheap and nasty shot and then it was back into the game - he always had his mind on the big picture. Plus, he was tough enough to get over that sort of shit quickly - fourteen years as a flanker at the highest level quite often meant coming off the field at the end of a game looking like he had been in a car crash.
@@drisszyani3497 -Its a joke,a play on the commentator's pronunciation.I know all about where they are from and their ancestry. They are Maori, Ngati Porou is their Iwi same as my Mum.
where the hell did you get that ref from looking at his hair he's way past it actually I think he must be walsh funny aye teams don't like gettin beaten by the mighty AB'S
+rabbitss11 Richie McCaw has always just shrugged of the blatant dirty shots and just gets on with winning. He has reacted to being kneed by a couple of Aussie grubs though namely Quade Cooper and Scott Higginbotham who also head butted McCaw in the same game.
ruy007wc You are amazingly selective in what you saw. The facts are that at 9:45 the Welsh 15 lead with his fist into the ruck, contacting Kaino's face. The "punch" you refer to is Kaino swiping at him, barely connecting. Welsh 15 then tries to milk a penalty.
Don't really remember this game but I know Wales lost because it's now 2019 and their still looking for their 4th win against us. Can't remember Carter having a worse day didn't think to much of the ref typical All Blacks never give up nice win not great but nice.
lol. "won" ? I don't think anyone believes that. Wales crack in the end against the big 3, always. No hate, it's just that way. *Thx to the uploader* for this superb entertainment.
+Matthew Zunder would have won if the ABs didn't cheat and play with fifteen players, speak not of what would have or could have happened, speak only of did happen
When playing the all blacks you have to run the ball swing it wide when in their 22 when a player is grounded get that ball out quick if not the all blacks get their defence in place run that ball when their forwards are committed to the ruck
+wade dixon only thing is that for years now the ABs commit as little as possible to the ruck and prefer to commit more players to defence instead. The other thing is if you do finally manage to defeat them, the next time you play them they play a totally different style of game and usually end up blowing you off the park.
Don't really remember this one fast paced through out not bad by Wales maybe more patients they could have done with and less kicking pocession away made for a bit of a messy game poor bastards still looking for their fourth victory over the mighty All Blacks 60+ years now phew man!

The ref did his best for Wales but to no avail. The All Blacks were just fantastic.
As always, your a class act in bringing these old games to us lowly rugby fanatics. This is one game I hadn't watched so appreciate it heaps.
hey
9:42 Kaino punching Welsh fullback after a shoulder to the head 🤣😂🤣😂😂😂😂
Damn man, i just saw it and wanted to comment on it. Lmao.
WOW 😳, what a beautiful sight!! I think one of the best All Black 🖤 Rugby teams ever. Wonderful players.
Two Rugby 'Families', having a good time. Great respect to both.
Lol, hardly. When was the last time the Welsh beat NZ? Wanna go check the head-to-head? Thought not, hahahahaha!

Liam Messam and Piri Weepu both really get into it as well. And the Maori All Blacks always put on a good show with their haka.

Its 2016 and Im back to see the transition of players ABS have been providin since, damnnnn they good.
Alun-Wyn Jones ripping off Muliaina's boot and throwing it away at 9:06 ... toddler mentality 😂😂😂
22:29 Jerome Kaino smashed em bro.
You'd think that somewhere they'd tell us *_WHERE_* the game is being played without us having to infer it from audience context.
I say God Damn! I never seen DC miss so many kicks , is he human after all?
22:30 ‘Taffy got his Bread of Heaven delivered fast post!’ 😬😳😷🤕☠️😇
What a disgraceful hit from Powell on McCaw near the end.
Now it would be really hard to get a grandslam now
