I am of French descent from both sides of my family and I live in New Orleans. My grandparents on both sides spoke French, their first language and could speak a little English. I am curious what French people think of the Louisiana French people. I've heard a little negativity, especially about the French language, as it is not the pure Latin French. I would be interested in what you have to say in these regards? (I love this song, good job)

The Louisiana French is somewhat a broken French if you will, blending Native American, Spanish, etc. languages. It was out of necessity because they co-inhabited the land with a diverse culture.@@oliveentonne
