They're not related, JJ Abrams has let it loose her parents aren't in the movie, so not Luke. That, and the welcome he gave her was more conflicted about his lightsaber, not the relief of seeing a long thought dead daughter. I thought she could be a Kenobi, which would be interesting with their connectio to Skywalkers, and a force bond with one (Kylo and a Rey Kenobi), but it's more likely she's completely new and born of the force (a reincarnation of the first Jedi), considering her ability to tap into immense power of the force, which takes even Skywalkers years to harness. So, you're free to ship this intriguing love story shamelessly! (:
