I love how they can remix every one of their songs and they sound fresh. Even Joy Division songs. They used to do the same. Back in 1984 they were doing this stuff. The remastered singles. Extended mixes. Live remixes. They played so much. They were never in it for anything but the music and making cool music. And producing. These guys were producing their own stuff all the way back in 1981. From then on, they have produced all of their own music. Nobody does this anymore. Not write, play and produce all their own stuff. And Peter Saville. Ahh. Love me some Saville touch. These guys were so far ahead of the game.
pyrtwist.................. thanks a million for putting this together for all new order fans out there the sound is unreal the early recordings are the best then iam a old geezer... but there early stuff was brilliant.................. many thanks
Wonderful. I love how they play the album tracks with the same competence, but always channel their current emotions into them and change things as they see fit. It's very honest, like being in their living room with them while they play. THANKS
I just now discovered this, recently having gotten back into Joy Division and New Order, the music of my youth. This is a really wonderful recording . It all sounds fucking great to me (yes including Bernard. :-) )
NEWORDER FOREVER
i am most grateful for your upload good sir. the quality is great and the playlist that NO has here is a good one. i think this was a crucial transition point for them cause most of my fav songs come from their early 80s era to Technique in 1989. i like some of their stuff after that but during that stretch almost every song was a favorite. thanx again, keep rockin it steady NO.
One of their best concerts .Used to play the bootleg tape i had to death.New order at their finest.EGG, Blue Monday, Your silent face and Skullcrusher are just fantastic.
wow, this is the first time hearing some of these versions. good shit dude. being a band that is so synth heavy, its nice to hear it in such clear sound.

( DISCO BAR CHAPEAU). MOLLERUSSA,1985 1993 😢😅😊
this is the best live bootleg I´ve heard so far & ive heard so much of them... this is so much better than the Bestival 2012. never understood why they could never release a good proper official live album.
Because in 1985 they could barely fill UK clubs ? And were gigging to fund the Money Pit Hacienda. Releasing a "good, proper, official live album" was probably low on their agenda then.
@@MrRichards68 Blue Monday cover also ruined economically. Good example in basic Economic course -the more you sell, the more you will loose. This is why I like NO even more and no shadow over Pete Saville. Very expensive holes LOL.
Hard to beat the 22-minute monster version they did as an encore in Hamburg in 1981 to piss off the tepid German audience. Sadly it got yanked from here when the uploader's account was deleted :(
@@eamonnquigley2125 Having acquired the Peppermint Lounge DVD from the Movement Boxset I have to say that Temptation was a lot better there than Taras. The gig was better in general as the band seemed to be comfortable. I wished Factory would have used the camera crew for the Peppermint gig. Just a few days difference.
We all need to push to get New Order into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I know it is a long shot but I really think they deserve it. There aren't enough 80's band in there. The judges are assholes...too many BabyBoomer Republicans...lol! (and I am a BabyBoomer!)

This gig was pretty quiet banter wise but usually he says something usually funny and potentially obscene. To me, banter are the Easter eggs, the music the feast.
+SniffyPoo Have heard a lot of NO banter over the years: The most vocal at Caesars Palace Bradford March 1984: The Fu** Tape Machine broke + 20 minutes of Fu%ing 'Banter'... also a lot from Gillian!
Duglas- I know NO steal a lot from the Klein+MBO italo disco masterpiece "Dirty Talk" when they made "Blue Monday". But also influenced by disco artists like Donna Summer "Our love" and Sylvester "You make me feel" for instance.

Ruaitrick-I agree, one of the best (maybe best?) bootleg I have ever heard with NO. It seems like the band was very influenced by dub and reggae 1984.
Totally agree best era by far .. Hooky's Bass on lonesome tonight ... 😍
@Ruairí Yes, Gillian Gilbert; definitely a young man of promise...
Young men AND WOMAN of promise. Gillian's contributions were quite different from most female pop musicians.

Totally agree with you. And of all the bands I used to listen to, and there were oh so many, this is one of the few bands I still CAN listen to !

"They were never in it for anything but the music." Then they called in the lawyers and it got ugly.

😍 😍 😍 Yo estuve en concierto... Espectacular
This band meant so much to me when I was young.
Love me some live ceremony performance, especially early ones
Buenas yo estuve en este concierto, inolvidable, inigualable, sublime, ke grandes new order
Completamente de acuerdo, yo también estuve allí y fue una experiencia casi religiosa
Thank you! This is the best bootleg of NewOrder I have ever heard and I've been looking a long time! Cheers for putting this up :)

your silent face, is my ringtone - when I get doc emmitt brown as my pal one day, this concert will be a stop
NO Era 2. 1982 onwards. Tragic wayward confusion. Few brave enough to admit it
whenever you go to a new order gig, you know youll be getting a new, unheard version of their songs
Why is this one the finest gigs ever? Just curious. It's like a relic for those NO fans. (No Joke)

Bloody amazing set; bloody amazing sound. Thanks a million for this!!!
Great version of Your Silent Face. Industrial noise

All hear is Hooky's Bass Guitar Bernard's Guitar and Steve's drums complemented by some synth
@@richardholdsworth4386 that's everyone in the band, the "some synth" is Gillian Gilbert.

New Order from 81 to 86 were at their best I think
