There's a lot more upgrades than that and they can't cover them all. I actually like finding the golden nugget upgrades after the fact

expert raw is one other one you have to go to other features the last tab in the camera

When I record using Dual video. There is only one clip. How do you got spearate clips from both camera?
Hey there! There is a button in the preview screen of dual video next to the resolution that has a down arrow in it, press it until it looks like there are 2 boxes and you see the prompt that says "save as separate videos"
Practical and logical. The screen complaints seems very one dimensional. Also not having the curved edges eliminates the distortion and straight line glare from the sides.
As someone who had the S23 Ultra for the past 11 months, I'll say without a doubt the screen on my new S24 Ultra is much better overall.

I'm curious why no one is talking about Auracast, it's the feature that drew me to get a new phone
Such a new technology but I'm looking forward to more devices having it included. My Buds 2 Pro has it included just haven't played around with it yet.
@@Yielar1 first thing I did after my phone was set up was pair my b2p and try auracast
4:50 "feedback" is probably not a term you should use here...
The buttons I don't think they are an improvement and the flat sides. In my personal experience the round edges give a getter grip and a better feeling overall, the big junky sides I see it as a downgrade.
How come when using yhe fb messenger camera, results are ugly?
If we choose use the always on display with all screen on, the chances of burnin aren't higher?
Not a concern. It's dimmed until you touch your screen.

This might be a little detail, wearing polaroid glasses on wide screen is now fully visible, not just restricted to vertical... That is a change that was not existent on the S23U

FYI: Super Slomo is still a feature on the S24 Ultra. It just doesn't have its on tab on the camera tab.
The way to do the superslomo is record in slomo, then when you edit it, you'll see the play speed above the brackets that let's you adjust what part of the video is slowed down.
By default it's set at 1/8 speed, but it allow you to slow it down to 1/16 and 1/32, (1/32)being the frame rate that super slomo uses.
I appreciate that, but as a way of functioning, super slow mo was its own mode.
It had its own square and auto captured the super slow mo section. It was also based on hardware frame rate capabilities vs. software.
So yes, you can slow it down in the slow mo edit, but it's not the same
@@SamMobileTV Auto captured?... Are you talking about the feature where the super slomo recorded automatically when it detected motion??
@SamMobileTV I think I like the new set up better because before with super slow motion, it would only give you a small section that was in super slow mo. Now you can shoot a video and adjust which part is slow mo including the speed.
@@Yielar1EXACTLY!... I personally think this guy is trying to save face because he didn't realize it still existed.
On the S23 Ultra, you could only have so much of the video be in super slomo, but now you can have it be on as long as the video is. Keep in mind it'll take longer to process the video into super slomo, but it's possible.

That feature was announced during a Samsung Camera announcement, not for relevant for the Galaxy S24!

So. Much. Bloat. And millions of settings here and there. A normal user probably only uses a fraction of the functions offers, thanks to bloat and those millions of settings.
Nice to have features and options. Phones are so powerful now it’s not a big deal.
As someone who actually owns the phone, it's lightning fast. The point of the flagship Ultra phones is to have a ton of features and options. Power users will learn and use a ton of the features and learn more as time goes by. Sounds like you should buy a mid level iPhone if you don't like customization and lot's of features etc

Exaggeration! There are hundreds of settings. That's way less, so you should be happy! Bloat can be zapped. Added: Actually, barely hundreds.
Buttons: I very rarely use the buttons, fingerprints. I use the pen quite a lot
The rest of us use buttons all the time

i preorderd my S24 Ultra through T Mobile on Saturday January 20, 2024 and i got on January 26, 2024!! i have the s24 ultra 512gb in titanium black and i love it!! the battery is absolutely amazing,, i charged it wirelessly to 100% and then watched a 3 hour movie and it only used 20% battery and i had about 80% battery left!!!
Pre-ordered yesterday. Says it won't get here till feb 28th :(

Great video! Why do I not have Adaptive Pixels nor the Directors cut for video filming in my S24 Ultra? Do you have a different kind of software?
You may want rewatch but director cut is now upgraded at around the 8:00 it's now called Sappire cut
The LG V10 was the first one to have the audio feature

I must say. My phone broke at a PERFECT time. I had the s20 ultra for the longest and it broke like 2 or 3 weeks ago and I found out this phone existed when I went to get a new one. I've never been so pleased with a phone 😭. I'm obsessed.

I keep finding upgrades throughout the UI. It's very extensive
Got mine early last Friday. I have had just about all Galaxys since S4 (I never got S5), and this one is hands down the best one yet. Traded in my S22 Ultra and got the 24 U for $650!
The most hidden upgrade is actual brightness of the screen. I can't find those NITs side to side with my S22ultra indoors or outside. S24Ultra colours are dull and washed out, colour temperature is too high, contrast is lacking. Reflective coating is good thou. Hope sams fixes it with an firmware update asap.
My only complaint is that my s22 ultra with battery protect charges up to 85% for me lasts all day but the s24 charges to 80%

No one has mentioned the water resistance rating. Is it even water resistant? I don't see anything on the specs page on Samsung either
It's IP68!
All Samsung phones, except foldables, have been IP68 for years
Why aren't u guys talking about the muted display issue even when the vivid mode is turned on. In fact switching from natural mode to the vivid mode does nothing. Nobody uses their phones outdoors 24x7. So please don't be biased.
This isn't a review or an issues video, it's talking about specific upgrades.
And I did mention it. But this is most definitely a software optimisation issue, which, with my best guess, will be patched out with an update

Respect to you and your point, but I believe the time is right to really focus on the amazing things that the S24 series is capable of in readiness for the day that will soon come when early production run problems and glitches are fixed. I have had my fill of complaining about this problem and that personally. Now is the time for POSITIVITY. 👍

They need to take the harshness out of the s24u display. It's painful to look at in the dark or low light conditions. I keep using my note 10+ with a cracked screen over my new 24u. Also, moving the buttons to the right was crummy move after all this time getting used to on the left.
Do you know about the extra-dim mode on the S24U? I came from the base Note 10 myself and find the new screen is phenomenal.

The button placement will become a muscle memory adjustment over time, but I can imagine after years with it one way it will take time to get used to. The change was made to accommodate the bigger camera modules as the S Pen had no room to fit!
Where is that camera assistant? Cant find it at all
you have to install it from good lock and then it will apear in your camera settings
I assume that if one uses a screen protector, the advantage of the anti-reflective is lost?

Where do i find the audio monitoring, i went to camera setting and couldnt find it. Went to regular settings and searched "camera assistant" and it didnt pop up
You need to download the camera assistant from Galaxy Store first!
