- Tenpenny Bit is one of the best known and easiest Irish jigs. This fiddle lesson teaches the basic melody and looks at different approaches to jig bowing for the fiddle, including accents and slur patterns. The aim is to provide "lift", drive and variety. The bowing tips will be useful and relevant for any jig playing on the fiddle. I use on-screen sheet music, and a free pdf of Tenpenny Bit is available to subscribers.
