May I suggest reacting to BIKER BOYZ with laurence fishburne as smoke the king of Cali based on a real street racer or TORQUE it's like FAST AND THE FURIOUS but with motorbikes with ice cube both movies are fantastic
bro honestly this era of Disney animation was by far the MOST PEAK, the main reason for that tho was because they made these films (Lion King, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Little Mermaid, etc..) with the expectation of it going onto Broadway/
A common theory is that when scar said "long live the king" the fear in mufasa's eyes wasn't for him but for his son because he now knows the lengths his brother will go for the throne and he fears for his son....
@@nathancruz9172didn’t the first trailer get absolutely destroyed by fans. That movie should have been a 2d animation movie and not live action. I know Disney doesn’t do 2d animation anymore but I feel it would have suited it better.

Also Props to James Earl Jones (darth vader) himself and (Jeremy irons) for voicing to the most iconic characters of all time.
I know right it’s my favorite Disney movie and no matter how many times I watch it or Oliver and Company. They never get old or boring like this is beautiful. I love it so much.❤❤❤❤
Saying Simba isn't as strong as mufasa was, or his presence isn't as strong as mufasa is totally accurate with the story, Simba has literally been laying around with Timon and Pumba all his life, wat did u expect
This is one of the greatest Disney movies of all time. It has the best songs, awesome casts, important lessons and funniest moments. Long live the King 🦁🦁🦁🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🤴🤴🤴🤣🤣🤣

I remember him crying to scene of Mufasa dying…I absolutely love this movie! You guys souls react to The Prince of Egypt next, if you want amazing animation and music! It’s about the story of that biblical character of Moses.
The funny thing is Ursula flat out told Ariel the consequences and nearly won Jafar got what he wanted but was outsmarted and Scar actually killed the king and got what he wanted but turned on the ones that followed him and in the end got his comeuppance
I have to throw Frollo ( I think that's his name) from Hunchback of Notre Dame. He killed his mom, treated Quasi like his puppet, manipulated and lied to him. Killed hundreds of Gypsys, or ppl that looked like it, etc. Just throwing his name in the ring.
The timing for this is crazy. I've recently been watching reactions of The Lion King and today i watched 2 reactions before seeing RTTV upload this. Thank you RTTV!
"The Lion King" has many details in common with "Hamlet", the famous novel by Shakespeare. For me, it´s the best animated film ever, with one of the best OST ever composed (by the great Hans Zimmer). ALWAYS touches my heart in some scenes. It´s a truly masterpiece.
Always looking forward to your reactions ❤ y’all have to watch lion king 2 with Simba’s daughter. I think that’s the best one in my opinion and very underrated!
Idk if u guys have already seen the live action, (If u have) then, u should watch the show of their son, "The Lion Guard", just one episode to see how u like it. Cause the live action one was cooler to me cause it's REAL ANIMALS, and when I was younger the show was cool to me. (If u havent) then u should react to it aswell, But this is just a suggestion! Love yall reactions🫶🏾
And also, the voices casting it´s incredible; starting with Mufasa (James Earl Jones, who was the voice of Darth Vader among another epic roles), and Scar (Jeremy Irons).
It doesn't matter how many times I've seen this movie, the scene where Simba finds Mufasa dead in the gorge always gets me in the heart. Especially the fact that Scar gaslights Simba into thinking it was his (Simba's) fault and Johnathan Taylor Thomas' line delivery. Also, I am very glad they cast James Earl Jones as Mufasa. As much as I respect the actor, they almost cast Christopher Walken. Side note: Some of the character's names have meanings translated out of Swahili Simba: Lion Nala: Gift Mufasa: King Sarabi: Mirage Rafiki: Friend Pumbaa: Slow-Witted Zazu: Movement Shenzi: Savage Banzai: Skulk or lurk Taka (Scar's original name): Waste Timon (His name actually comes from Greek): Respect or Honor
The Lion King is my favorite Disney film, it has the best direction, best introduction and original songs, best script and 2D at its best. Too incredible!
This is my favorite Disney movie. 90s Disney animation was top tier. Little mermaid, Lion King, Aladdin, Beauty & the beast, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Pocahontas. I miss 2D animation
I love this movie and lion king 2! I used to watch both back to back all the time growing up. The soundtrack is soo bomb. Peak disney when it came to sound tracks.
Another factor that helped beauty and the beast, lion king and etc Was elron john and tom rice worked on both films scores and helped write the lyrics for most of the songs for lion king and beauty and the beast.
Hope you react to Beauty and the Beast next. Personally, my favorite of the Disney Renaissance era. Also, hope you react to the old classics beginning with Snow White to see how much they hold up today. Thanks! Keep up the great work as always, RTTV crew! ❤
ICONIC!!!! The live action was unnecessary and really didn't bring the story to life for me. Lion King 2 is also sooo good! The music and the storyline is iconic as well
6:01 So in the Special Edition of the movie released in 2003, the Morning Report is a musical number with a new kid as Simba’s singing voice, because Jason Weaver was obviously too old to play Simba again.
25:20 that scene wasnt in the original script, that was just an improv outtake by Nathan Lane, and they decided to turn that into a whole scene because they thought it was really funny
Crazy how beloved Disney were in the 90s, all the films from that era especially the early 90s are loved. Now it feels no matter what Disney do they’re pretty much hated. I can see why with certain things they push but I do feel the hate goes overboard. I do agree with the live action being crap cash crabs.
A classic that still holds up and is still beloved by many 😎. Watching this and Hunchback numerous times as a kid is probably what birth my love for media that can have a good balance of action, comedy, and drama. While also being a bit edgy or dark, and having suspense, romance, and likable characters 😎.
Love both films immensely. I find myself rewatching Aladdin more often but I agree the music in Lion King is phenomenal. The story of course is great...it is Hamlet with lions. So of course it is top tier. I appreciate Scar as a villain because he is one of the few that actually sees their goals accomplished. But his biggest mistake was being too hands-off. If he had just taken out young Simba himself after the stampede, he would have been good 😅 No one would have known but the hyenas, and they wouldnt have told anyone. As for Jafar, you gotta give it to him, he did almost everything himself...even played multiple characters to try to achieve his goal 😭🤣🤣🎉
