All these negative comments, it's a give away people. The only reason I am not part of the giveaway is because I do not IG I'm 47 with kids in their mid 20's early teens, 10 and a 6 month old I can only imagine how much use this guitar would get be it the cheapest or most expensive. I was happy when I saw that they made lefty models of the Californian series.
Would this be classed in a slimline category? I like the smaller/ thinner semi acoustics as they fit my frame better. I’m only small. I did like the look of the Malibu but this is more pleasing aesthetics wise, to me anyway.

Because the first time I saw a picture of any such guitar (it was natural-finish and didn’t have a cutaway) in the hands of Ray Davies in pictures of the Kinks, I half expected to hear “Lola”.
How dare Norm’s, which give away tons of free content try to give away a free guitar that doesn’t suit ME in a way that doesn’t suit ME!! It’s an insult I tell you!! I demand a refund of the $0.00 I’ve spent with them!!

@@thunderballs6216 it's a different tone than an ibanez art wood 54ce and it's a different tone than a tailor acoustic guitar but it sounds great 👍 my friend fell on mine and broke it into peacees so I have to buy another one 😀

I have a 60's fender acoustic that sounds great!! (It was made by harmony though. That's why).
I have played some really bad fender accoustics but I played one of these second hand and the previous owner must have loved this guitar as it was set up really nice low action easy to play good sound what more could you want oh and an awesome mahogany neck and fast

Disappointing- the business is going fine and has a big following. You are risking your good reputation with this pathetic giveaway. You can afford a better prize than this (which was probably donated by Fender anyway) and a fairer simpler competition.
I agree Steve. Nice gesture to give a guitar away but maybe a half decent one that isn't one step above a starter guitar. Sure it's free though so that'll appeal to somebody if they're prepared to follow the "4 simple steps" for their kid or something.
