Happy Tuesday! This week we're returning to one of my favorite styles: flat florals! This style is very beginner friendly; the hardest part is keeping your layers organized as you work so you can move and manipulate your elements as your bouquet comes to life. In this video, there are a bunch of elements, so if you want some good layer practice, this is it ;) We only use one free brush (above) for the entire piece and the color palette is free, as always (also above). Let's get started!
I use the Paperlike screen protector on my 3rd gen iPad Pro (12.9", 256GB). More info here: paperlike.com/everytuesday
The Apple Pencil grip you see me using in the video is called the Nimble Grip, available here: every-tuesday.com/grip

Thank you so much for this tutorial Teela. Having only just bought an iPad this month and downloaded Procreate a couple of weeks ago, finding you this week has been a godsend. I loved following this so much. Thanks again.
Teela: “ Draw a wobbly circle”

Thank you Teela! I've learned so much with your courses in Skillshare and your youtube videos! I would really love to learn how to paint lavender in watercolor. Is one of my favorite flowers are you gonna do this anytime soon?
Omg thank you you are so good
Have not gotten my iPad Air yet but I've learned so much by watching your videos! 🥰
Thanks for watching!
Beautiful creation! You make it look so easy...your daisies are gorgeous and your symmetrical is actually symmetrical...mine?...nope, not so much! 😋😜🤣
I did the art bouquet 💐 💜 how mine turn out a bit different to yours, I always learn something new, you make it so easy to follow 💜 drawing on my iPad👍🏻
Your colors look A LOT different from mine. Especially what you are calling red. And your white seems whiter, whereas mine appears slightly pale yellow cream. I downloaded your color palette. Any ideas?
Same!
@@gingerlight415 I might be able to help. First of all make sure that you are using the same color profile as her (P3) and just by recording a screen with (probably) artificial lightning to the regular hex codes they might differ a bit, although nothing outrageous. The "red" looks much more like a dark red/burnt orange, the "white" is not pure white so it does look a little pale. Just in general her colors on video look much more brighter.
@@gingerlight415 just change the colour profile of the canvas :)
I just want to thank you for creating such amazing and detailed tutorials! I have been struggling with procreate and have been searching for something like this! The way you break down the layers, pen settings, as well as little tips and tricks really helped me understand what I am capable of doing in procreate! I made this bouquet and am so proud of it!!! Thank you! ❤️
Love how detailed you describe, thank you - stunning illustration btw 🙂🍁
Thanks so much!
Wow, what_a_beautiful_design! I_really_like your_design.❤❤
❤❤_I_am_very_happy_to_see_your_video
Your_art_is_very_beautiful_❤❤
Can you do affinity designer tutorials? And affinity publisher?
Beautiful color scheme. Can I ask how you developed it?
Thanks! I created this one based off of a real fall flower bouquet I found on Pinterest :)
i love this one 👏🏾 gonna give it a try and tag you☺
I'm working on this right now and in my procreate the colors are appearing way more brownish than reddish. I have it at 1500x1500 300 DPI and RGB setting. Any thoughts on why this is happening?
I have the same problem.
I too am having this issue, and the green background looks bluish... :(
I don't know why but my lines are more pixelated than yours.. I choose the same canvas and took the same brush 🤷 could you help me? Thank you!
How often do you replace your tip? I'm finding my tips wear down really fast because of my screen protector.
This is another reason I don’t use screen protectors. That and the loss in contrast (using matte finish “paper-like” protectors). How is it for you?
Hey! Check out Paperlike (the real one, not the rip off ones): every-tuesday.com/paperlike I've been using mine every single day since January and my tip is still like new. I've never replaced it once + couldn't be happier with it (it's a little pricier than other ones, but worth every penny)
@@DisgruntledPigumon That was my issue. Maybe it's because I'm using a knock-off paper-like.
@@EveryTuesday Good point. Perhaps it's my knock off that's causing issues.
It wont let me add it if I try to. What do I do?
How do you charge your pencil with the grip on?
Unfortunately I have to take it off for charging each time, but it's easy to do and the benefits of it far outweigh that annoyance!
HI I HAVE A QUESTION 🙋🏼♀️So my downloaded color pallets never seem to quite match. For example, what red for her is more of a burnt orange for me. Is this normal or do I need to change something with my color profile?
Mine too.
Mine too, I guess it could be the camera which warms up the colours a little bit
i was going to ask this as well!
There are a few reasons: this is a recording of a screen (so the light in the environment it's recorded in and the brightness of the screen come into play), then it goes through editing/processing and then it's viewed on different screens, so your own screen's brightness and color profile come into play. With so many variables, it's impossible to match it exactly, but I promise we do our best and the palette provided is always the one I'm using. I'm also on the color profile Display P3 in Procreate and some older iPads don't support that profile, so that can factor in, as well.
@@EveryTuesday Just wanted to make sure it wasn’t some setting I accidentally changed because that’s usually the case. I LOVE your tutorials! My favorites are the flat designs because I just love that style...just sayin, I wouldn’t be mad about more flats 😬🙏🏻
I downloaded the palette but the colors don’t match at all to what you have. They’re all faded looking. What did I do wrong??
your ipad pro 11 or 12.9?
I tried to download the color palette and it didn’t let me
You can also pick it up from my free resource library if you'd like! every-tuesday.com/resource-library
