Aston martin should have continued to update the db9 like Porsche does with the 911. The DB11 just looks way too shouty, busy and vulgar almost. An aston martin should be subtle, elegant, beautiful and minimalist.
The DB9 was on sale from 2004 to 2017 so it was constantly evolved over that period. As for the DB11 - it really depends on the way you spec it. It is can be sporty, assertive or elegant and traditional. Huge efforts were made to make it muscular but reserved hence clever aero but not spoilers.
These classic cars were made for chrome, not the current horrendous all black trend, black rims etc which screams utter utter bad taste and new money peasantry.
Fantastic spec, well done to whoever ordered this originally!
Agreed - this spec will always look great!
Stunning. The lines are exceptionally beautiful.
Yes, agreed. I think the colour shows the lines really well.
Perfect car from all angles.
Avec le soleil;je vais ressortir la mienne;le vrai bonheur....

We can comment, it would be like saying which of your children you love the most!!!! But DB9 is a beautiful piece of design.
@@HWMAstonMartinLtd Fair enough. :)
How much cost a db9 ?
It depends on the age and mileage - generally anything between £40,000 and £80,000 although there are exceptoins.

we love chrome but these traditions come and go. Pre-war Aston Martin's often had black wheels.
