Thanks for having me! The Aminatou deck was super fun. That Vile Mutilator made me real sad.
Congrats on becoming an Ambassador buddy! Well deserved and great video!
Ambassador status! POG!!
Also super cool to see the commander decks in action before I even look at the lists.
Look at this gameplay!
I'm super excited for this set! Thanks for showing it off!
This was a Precon game of all time.
The rakdos deck seems like it should just be jammed with all the group slug cards: mana barbs, mogis, wars toll, price of glory, Torbran, Ojer axonil, etc
Yay, extra game for the week!
Also, your name is Mandrew.
That game was right down to the wire. Good game!
My brain also melted seeing that Massacre Girl and Yedora play
Congrats on becoming an Ambassador! Well deserved.
Congrats on joining the ambassador program!
Oh Andrew! Just to let you know, I have used card conduit twice and have used your affiliate link both times!
22:00 another missed ward trigger, and it would have let max draw another card.
Eternal punishment isnt flashy. But damage wins games.
Super cool game! Great you got to play them early 😮 They look like a lot of fun!
Congrats on Ambassador!!!!
Wow, these look like lots of fun! I can't wait to try one 🎉🎉
This landfall simic will go hard when people put Nadu and its combos as the commander. I know this because I did that with a Merfolk precon to see how far it would go, and that was pretty nutty. The fact that landfall is Nadu's strong point makes this much more dangerous. I also like the Giggling Skitterspike as an alternate win condition in a "target creature" focused deck.
I'm convinced no one in this game knew how to threat assess
Great music choice Andrew. Very on theme!
This is so nice do that for every precon!!!
I will if they'll let me!
Background music for this episode is DOPE 👍
Winter deck played way better than I anticipated. Pretty cool.
People always underrate cards with finality counters, and forget how easy it is to get deliurm online
The deck can very quickly get the engine online often making Winter public enemy number one. Especially if Hermit Druid is in the deck.
These decks look fun. If they are still around I would love a chance to play them.
Ooooo new precons! Let's goooooo
Am I missing something? @18:15 upon casting Redress Fate (which has 8 CMC), shouldn't the shark token be an 8/8? This adds up to 4 damage over 2 turns, that would have affected the outcome of the game.
Love the music very thematic ❤ as always great video ❤❤
at 7:40 why didnt you block the predator with the creature you just reanimated?
my plan was to get the zimone precon for the new stuff to put in my kadena deck, but now im not sure whether it is zimone who actually powercrept kadena as a better face down commander
Why would you keep temple of the false god in an opening hand
Fun game to watch but I think you missed every single ward trigger when targeting Valgavoth.
Edit: Whoops, I'm just blind.
I think there was only the one with Aether Gale, which I mentioned we catch later and deduct from Maximus.
@@MTGMuddstah Yeah, watching it back I realize I'm incorrect. I was referring to your Convert to Slime resolution and thought you didn't deduct it because you didn't mention the ward trigger. Looking back just now, it looks like you did.
@@Birbbato excellent! We were trying really hard to catch anything. Sadly, our brains were mostly fried after the Massacre Girl and Yedora sequence haha
Great game guys. Thanx.
We are Aminatou Stan’s at the emporium.
Great game! The golgari deck looks great!
Love the new precons!
Damn, soundtrack is lit, thats what the kids would say, I guess.
This set looks great. I'm going to spend some $$$ on this one!
Can we get a 3 max episode?
Marvellous 🎉
Interesting gameplay but some missing info. Slow it down a little and explain some triggers would be nice
Good to see Simic doing Simic things as usual
16:59 i feel like the zimone ability should wait patiently to go onto the stack since it’s in the middle of another ability resolving. I might be wrong, but im pretty sure that things can’t go into the stack in the mother of the resolution of a spell or ability with the exception of that one wurm you can cast from your library while searching it.
16:07 Why didn't he just take out Maximus? That would've been the smart play.
Winter feels like a more balanced Meren... the cost and conditions to get cards back are steeper, but he makes up for it by having built-in mill and getting noncreature permanent cards. Finality counters kinda sting, though...
That feed the swarm not targetting the whip of erebos was such a misplay, almost lost him the game
Wasn't the last shark Math made supposed to be an 8/8 ? With 2 attacks from it, Max should have been 4 HP lower and would have died later instead of remaining at 2.
Great game!
Great!
I dont think Aminatou applies a 4 CMC reduction for X spells.
Are you referring to when he hits The Master of Keys? It does for enchantments, which surprisingly the Master is.
I PITY THE FOOL WHO CASTS A BIG FIRST SPELL
Niiiiice
This was a fun game. I will point out that Max should have been drawing every time his opponents were dealt combat damage, as Valgavoth doesn’t specify combat or noncombat damage. There were a few missed triggers I noticed.
The person losing life has to lose the life on their own turn to trigger valgavoth.
@@Birbbato ah yes, missed that. Sorry
I understand the "spread the attacks" gameplay but when there's a valgavoth player and everyone has 10 or less life, you either focus him or you're bound to die no matter what.
Putting a falkenrath noble instead of a each opps aristocrat is just diabolical of wizards. Like this is commander dude all of them are common or uncommon.
Just an fyi for next time, giving the sphinx hexproof would have fizzled the bounce spell for all other targets, because it is return 6 permanents, not up to 6. Which is why it's bad. Just like Hex
For a targeting spell to fizzle, all of its targets have to be illegal at the time of resolve. Otherwise it will do as much as it can. It was played correctly in the video.

I'm almost 12 minutes in, and I have to say, Animatou's deck is as bad as I thought it would be. Terrible mana base, few low cost interaction. I bought the deck, but boy, will there be changes.
Just look how much stuff people have on the board after that first board wipe and Animatou's has 2 creatures.
The Massacre Girl etb resolves all as one trigger/effect so any Yedora/Zimone triggers wouldn’t resolve mid-massacre, they would resolve after. At least that’s how I think it should happen, I’m not a judge tho
"When Massacre Girl enters, each other creature gets -1/-1 until end of turn. Whenever a creature dies this turn, each creature other than Massacre Girl gets -1/-1 until end of turn."
Massacre girl creates a delayed trigger. Every time a creature dies this turn, it will go on the Stack. So different triggers can go on the Stack in between those -1/-1 from creatures dying
Look a WotC paying cardboard to people that make advertisement for their product… Wait… Happy WotC, happy Muddstah, happy nerds watching that video… Good jobs folks! You hit the very small target from very far that keeps moving all the time 🎉
Algorithm
Winter is probably the worst deck out of the bunch imo.
Also, you talk too much. Make your summaries quicker please.
Winter is the most basic out of the box, but after doing nothing but watching gameplay videos for over a week, Aminotou is definitely the weakest of the four and rarely wins games because of how slow it is to set up and how vulnerable it is to board wipes. The worst decks are those that have no answer to removal and the Miracle Worker precon has very little removal protection. Winter is also super busted with upgrades.
@@eDOTrekt I would disagree with you except that the esper deck has the unfortunate problem of facing 2 green decks, which have very little problems removing enchantments.
Had there been less green, it would likely hold up much better.
Winter is the absolute worst because it wants delirium to function, but it's payoff goes against its gameplan. In order to activate its delirium payoff, it actively exiles its own cards to then NOT have delirium.
It's a bad deck because what it wants to do and then reaching that threshold go AGAINST each other.
If you ran it as a delirium deck with upgrades, it would likely be a lot of cards that work more efficiently when delirious, which is why it would work best if you just got rid of winter as it's commander altogether.
