    Bill every kid on youtube wants one of these setups in their backyard I know you have a lot of behind the scenes maintenance
    that you have to do to this beast to keep things running smoothly. Before I forget, the wireless mic thing was the ticket for you making videos. I really want to add this to my cameras but they don't have the external microphone jack so I will probably just add them to the camera myself whenever I do make the move. Take care sir and keep on cutting...

    • @nhhbbyloggr5022
      @nhhbbyloggr5022  Год назад

      Mike. Anybody with a few extra acres would be amazed how fast you can fill it up every square inch with wood and machinery It's a constant battle to keep that stuff out of our garden and greenhouse.
      The good thing about the DJI Miics is you can record on them without hooking into the camera and then add the voice over to the editing program for the final video . The DJI comes with its own charging case and at the same time links the two recorders to the receiver... or use the recorders separately. I want to try that sometime when I have the time to sit and muddle my way through the process. I really like the way some Tubers use this voice-over method. Stay well, my friend !

      @@nhhbbyloggr5022 Yeah quality audio is a lot easier to listen to versus a low voice lost in a noisy background. Yes you can replace the audio track on your videos but syncing up the sound and the video can sometimes get tricky. Been there done that.

      @@flash001USA Me? I wouldn't attempt to sync up voice with video, beyond my pay grade. But I would try for a very low or muted voice on video with a better quality " voice -over " description of what's going on .

    Ahhh. The elegance of efficiency :) .
    I use similar processes in the machine shop, where I try to keep the machines constantly busy, while I run around, like a chickenless head, managing the day's production run.
    The resulting sense of achievement is well worth the effort, as is the profit :) .

    • @nhhbbyloggr5022

      Hahaha A chickenless head. At least there are no wasted steps.
      A couple years ago a friend was helping me out running the processor while I delivered firewood to the customers. I tried getting him to use the double tap method, even standing off to the side giving him the sign to click the splitter button to get synchronized. He got frustrated, jumped out of the machine, got right in my face and told me he was going to do it his way, his comfort zone ( if you will ). Then he yells at me : " You don't even get how terrified I am running that frikin thing". We both calmed down, had a Moxie and went back to work.

      Those chickenless heads find a way of rolling into everything, except chicken soup, or so I am told.
      LOL. I met someone like your "fearless" friend some time back.
      He told me that he could run the laboratory equipment more efficiently than I could, so I put him to the test.
      Needless to say, he couldn't even program it, let alone use it to run the required UHF alignment sequences.
      After an hour of fruitless fiddling, he had to apologise to me, in front of all the other staff members.
      Now, if only we had Moxie, back in those days, or ever, come to think of it :) .

      Our main market, in North America, was ruined by it, and my employer stabbed me in the back, by not letting me know that I was no longer on the pay roll, until I posted my expense claims, and they failed to pay them.
      Yup, I had been working, "free of charge", for a while, without knowing it!

    Thanks for sharing how you get the work done. Is it possible to have a sensor for the splitter that would push the ram forward whenever it "senses" a log is in place? This might speed up the process even more.

    • @nhhbbyloggr5022
      @nhhbbyloggr5022  Год назад

      The operator is the sensor. If the log is crooked, off center or skewed it will mash it into pulp or jam up the splitters. The trick is to be able to watch two things going on at the same time.

      Prices are all over the board depending how close you are to the big towns or cities. Any where from $ 350 - $ 525 . In that range there are the usual variables: Is it cleaned, debarked, kiln dried, accurate lengths, delivered ? We are in the country but close enough to the population centers. We offer air dried, seasoned, screened 2x, accurate firewood, delivered on time. How is it out your way?

I rebuilt the JD engine a few years ago and replaced the hydraulic pumps right before that. It has been a great machine, strong, reliable and the dealer support is awesome. Other than replacing saw chain and bars , a few replaceable wear plates on the splitter ( normal maintenance items ) this has been trouble free. Highly recommend !!

    Howdee Bill,
    It may seem that I didn't reply to your question, 4 days ago, in our thread here.
    In reality, I did reply, twice, but censorTube hid them from you - hence my outright contempt for watt *USED TO BE* RUclips.
    You'll find evidence of this everywhere you look, where you'll discover that some of the replies seem to be missing under numerous videos.
    To make them show up, hit "Sort by", list from Newest first - and work your way down to the affected thread.
    This, sort of, "fixes" the problem that google's utter incompetence has caused here :) .
