I do not want to disrespect what happened to this young woman. It is truly tragic. Reminded me again how awesome he was. I'm sure Lorenzen loved her like his own and I miss that guy still. Lorenzen had such a huge heart. At the public Grizz meet and greets they had back in the early 2000s (and I wish they would bring them back), he was always so kind to my kids. My daughter still has the index card (which was all she had to get signed) where he signed his name large across the whole face of the card and then realized no other team members would have space to sign it. He truly felt bad about it, and on the spot went and got a basketball for her to get others' signatures and got a knee and apologized. They hugged it out, and he VIPed through the line of players to get their sigs. She still has the card now as a 26 yr old adult. It was such an awesome and wonderful example of such a great MEM soul he was that was stolen from this world too early and outta nothing but greed. I am very sorry for this young woman. You know 42 crying and gonna welcome her. 😞
