Love this wreath! I will be doing this project VERY soon. FYI though, painting the foam wreath (which I just learned from your video) allowed you to use the hot glue on it without melting it. I would suggest this idea to all who plan on making this wreath, otherwise if they don't paint it, they might be disappointed on how fast the foam melts and their project gets ruined. Thank you😊

I use hot glue sticks. You can get those in most stores - either craft stores or regular stores with a craft aisle.

Hello - I make a tiny loop around the wreath itself at the top, hide it behind the pom poms and hang it from there.

Thank you! I use the clear fishing wire and wrap it between the pompoms.

do u think the hot glue wont come off ?
Hi! I normally don't wash wreaths because of the glue, Styrofoam and such. However my Mom has several of my yarn wreaths on her front door all year around, which get hit with the rain, snow, ice all the time. The wreaths still keep their shape (surprisingly) and there are no problems. I can't guarantee this for every wreath though :)

I have had these tools for a good 10 years and I ashamed to say I did not know how to use them. The instructions did not make since and eventually, I lost it so thank you I can make pom poms again and I am going to make this one in baby colors.

You know i needed some new xmas tree decor for me and my sons little white xmas tree i have a huge tub of all sorts of yarn including a special selection of all the jewl tone colors like ruby red emerald purple amethyst silver all have this tiny bits of shimmer mixed in the yarn. Im gonna make pom poms for our white tree think out the box. I hate our decor from last yr. We bought this cheap little white xmas tree from family dollar for $15 and decor for tree from dollar tree. I've never been a fan of tradition red and green. You see we use to have a beautiful tree covered in blue and silver martha Stewart collect then me and my husband split up and since then I've been trying to make xmas out of nothing on my own. For Halloween it was funny i bought decor for my tree and it looked awesome ! On the white tree but the decor from last yr was awful! Im serious gonna do pom poms! On a white tree it could be adorable!!

If using a wire wreath form won’t the hot glue drip out the back of the wreath?
Not if you are careful. Hot glue dries within seconds, so you can carefully place it where it needs to go.

I’m trying to make the Pom poms but they’re falling apart when I take them out. I don’t know where I’m going wrong
Probably just need to tie the yarn around and knot it tighter. Or use two strands.
