I did enjoy it! It was a good year for tomatoes "enough fer throwin' out the window", but not for poor Joan. I hope she went on to get the respect she so deserved or let them get their own damn flowers next time.
I get your confusion at "tea" party! My uncle will only eat his dinner at EXACTLY 1pm his tea at EXACTLY 6pm and his supper at EXACTLY 10pm which is mental, his wife wouldn't dare be a minute late, on the occasion's she was, he literally REFUSED to eat it! What a nob!
If i had the time I'd do a running comment but i get tired. Joan was my mom's name and Joan's often evade the responsibility of more work by faffing about picking flowers. Mom may have baked her own bread so as far as i know home baked bread doesn't come from the oven pre-sliced. Tea leaves are a thing, tea strainers are a thing, still are, back in the day people were skeptical that the teabag might not contain poison or small snakes. Mom is a proper mom who believes children are chattel. Joan has clearly shirked her duties by skipping through the garden while mom labors over bread slicing. Dad and brother and spot are just window dressing for the whole tea party. Follow me. I'm suspicious.
This is delicious! But please tell me what is grafting? And I think the first male is Mom’s oldest child. The guy with the amazing dimples would be the Dad. I grew up in that era and it wasn’t customary to fuss over the kids, not even in California.😂
Sorry, dear, but I use loose leaves for tea, and, had the mother baked her own bread, which was not unusual in the fifties, (at least in the U.S,) she would have had to slice it.
Isn’t incredible how much absolute shite we’ve all been watching since the onset of this pandemic shite is being going on!?! Jaysus Christ I’ve really really gotta start doing something with my life folks!?!
This is a groundbreaking move in an unforeseen direction for the “reaction video” genre
Enjoyed it very much!
I watched it twice! Might watch again.
At first I thought they gave Joan’s dinner to Spot. Hope not! #TeamJoan
I’m sixty five. My parents in Canada never used tea bags. My father said they used the dregs of tea to make them.
I agree with your dad. I always use loose tea in a teapot.
Some foods were still rationed way into the 1950's . That might be a reason for bulking out with tomatoes 😁
Neat to see. The flowers were so lovely, yes team Joan.
Hi April where are you from and would you like to meet up for some tea
The Joans of the world deserve a little respect and all ☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️
it may have been pointless but you made it entertaining...

Grafting is what we say about someone working hard, so for example John was very tired after a hard day's grafting he deserves a pint!
Sangwhich you say?! 🤔

Jone probably had to go to therapy after this lol
