Still hands down the best Warframe Market tutorial. Just watched 3 others that did not explain anything beyond the website, and it was so unclear. This was perfect, thanks!
Thanks for the video, mate. I found you have the best one that explains little details (like chat interaction, and managing Warframe Market) that many others skip over or just assume a new trader knows. Never assume anything as they say. I now feel confident enough to try my first trade. Thanks again! Subscribed ...
Absolutely awesome video. I made my first sale today thanks to your guide but I forgot to take the item off of the listing after it was sold so I had to disappoint someone before I deleted it.
Yeah, I've done that before. There's a third-party app I use called AlecaFrame. If you hook your warframe.market to AlecaFrame it actually unlists the item you just sold on warframe.market automatically after you sell it. AlecaFrame does quite a few other nice things including an in game overlay that shows you which relics would give you the best plat gains on a void fissure mission. AlecaFrame does some other stuff too, but that's all I use it for; I know it has a mastery thing too.
1. I spent $10 for 170 Plat. 2. I would trade 30 Plat for individual warframe prime parts.( Chassis, System etc…THATS ABOUT 120p for a full prime set. 3. I sell the full prime set for 180-200 plat. 4. And do this all over.
Yeah, this method definitely works really well. I think, however, there used to be a higher margin of profit in the past but it's still a very easy and reliable method.
The short answer is yes. The long answer is that you can do stuff while you're waiting for people to message you and just pm them back saying you're in a mission and it will be just a minute to get to your dojo. What I do make my selling offers "visible" while I want people to message me for trades, then "invisible" when I don't want people to message me for trades. I have a massive amount of sell offers listed on warframe.market that are all invisible and I turn a few at a time visible, but never all of them because I have over 300 listings on there. Specifically, I do the offers that would get me the most plat. This is helpful if you wanna sort what you trade and when you trade especially being that there are limits to daily trades in game. Hope that helps!
I tried using the _Setup Shop_ option and had a problem trading. Someone chose to trade and it asked me what to trade. I chose platinum, as I have none. But where I type in the amount, it wouldn't let me. It just kept going 0. So of course the other Tenno didn't want to wait a long time for me to set an amount and left the trade and I sold nothing. I haven't tried selling since.
Sorry to hear that trading experience didn't go well. I'm also sorry to say I don't entirely know exactly what your issue was or how to solve it. : ( I have only one theory: you might have been trying to trade your first platinum you got for free with your account. You start with 40 platinum (iirc) when your account is created. You CANNOT trade to other players with this platinum. That might be what's going on there.
Maybe this is offtopic comment but due to DE's moderation what is protecting scammers allow me to spread awareness here. KIREEK and his fucking clan started again with ignis wraith scam so I confronted him about it and I've made screenshots as evidence of scam, threats and victim playing. I've posted everything on forum where after 30 minutes my pictures got removed and thread closed. I asked moderator about feedback but got nothing. This is moderation of Warframe, they allow scammers to exist and flourish in their game. I am apologizing for going offtopic but this is going for a year.
I've watched some videos from other Warframe content creators and have heard similar things. DE does not currently have any form of good moderation on scammers. I actually talked to KIREEK as well after seeing him post about selling Ignis Wraith BP's for 50p in trade chat. It is terribly sad that people can bank roll off of people not knowing the Ignis Wraith BP can be free.
If you buy a warframe prime set you get the frame blueprint and the 3 parts to build it? Or just the 4 blueprints? Prime weapon sets are the main blueprint and the 2 parts?
So, a set of a prime frame is composed of the blueprints of the 3 parts and the main blueprint to put all those parts together after they are built. You can't trade a crafted prime Warframe part; you can only trade the blueprint of the part. Here's an example: You can trade an Ember Prime Neuroptics Blueprint but you can not trade and Ember Prime Neuroptics. So a full Ember Prime Set would be comprised of "Ember Prime Neuroptics Blueprint", "Ember Prime Systems Blueprint", "Ember Prime Chassis Blueprint", & "Ember Prime Blueprint". Prime weapon sets can vary greatly as prime melees can have parts like a "disc", "blade", "handle", "guard" and others. And prime rifles can have parts like "barrel", "stock", "receiver". So, prime weapon sets are a lot more varied than a prime Warframe set as a frame always has the same 4 parts but a weapon can have a lot of different parts and few sets share the same parts list. Also with prime weapons, there are no blueprints for the parts, there is just a main blueprint. For example, there's a "Soma Prime Receiver" but a "Soma Prime Receiver Blueprint" doesn't exist. As you can tell it's a bit complex and there's some regularity to it but it's a bit different depending on the set.
hey, I have a question I am an absolute beginner, who struggled to do a trade until the buyer basically invited me to their dojo for it. when you have someone dms you for buying/selling what do you do? cause I don't think "invite to dojo" is the option I should click, as it look like something to make them join the dojo but I don't see a "trade" option, and when I tried using the dojo trading terminal, it showed no one. I feel like it's a dumb question, but I don't want to rely on peoples having a dojo for trading if I already have one.
First, this is definitely NOT a dumb question. This happens to me too. When you "invite to dojo" that's not inviting the person to the clan, but only your current session to your clan's dojo. After you (who invited them to the dojo) leave the session it will kick the person from the session of your dojo. So inviting people to your dojo is perfectly safe; they cannot interact with anything other than the resource donation console and the trading console. As for the player not showing up on the trade console, this happens because the person you want to trade with is not in the same room as the trading console. There are a few ways you could resolve this. You could put your clan's trading console in the same room that people spawn in. Now, optimally this would work, but it doesn't because dojo sessions are a bit broken and people don't always spawn in the same room every time. So you could put the donation console (in game it's called a "Vault") in the same room as the trading console and ask the visitors you invited to press "escape", then press "fast travel", then press "vault". When they have done that they will teleport to the vault and be in the same room as you. I'm not sure if it's required but I leave the trading console screen by pressing "escape" then join it again when they are in the proper room. Then I do the trade as normal. Hope this helps!
A mod's rank has to do with how much endo and credits have been put into it. You can see the rank of a mod you have by looking at the bottom of the mod and you should see these little "blips" as I call them. The number of blips that are lit up blue is what rank the mod is. The mod [Vitality] can be any rank between 0 and 10. The mod [Fury] can be any rank between 0 and 5.
i'm having a problem where it's not letting me add platinum to a trade. someone's trying to sell me a Harrow Prime Neuroptics blueprint for 3 platinum, but when we started trading, it wouldn't let me add any platinum. any number i pressed got changed into 0 he was willing to take an Ayatan Cyan Star instead, but i still feel really bad about not giving him the platinum i promised...
That either sounds like a glitch of sorts or the game is not allowing you to trade the 40 platinum that comes with your account when you start the game. If it's a glitch you can go to the launcher and go under "Download Cache" and click "Verify" then when that is done click "Optimize" both may take a while depending on what kind of hard drive your game is installed on.
To go to a dojo, yourself, you need to be part of a clan and have a clan key built. The same applies to other people to invite you to their dojo. You don't have to have a clan to be invited to a dojo. If neither person in the trade is in a clan you can go to Maroo's Bazaar and trade there by pressing the "Gear Wheel" button (I believe the default is "Q").
Search on Warframe.market for the item you are selling and see the what other people are selling it for. I always 'undercut' my prices meaning I sell them for cheaper than average. I do this because it puts me at the top of the list for an item and it gets me a much quicker sell; keep in mind this method also gets you a few less platinum for each trade. I personally like this style of trading. Conversely, you could do the opposite and price your item higher than the average price. It will take longer to sell the item but it will get you more plat.
I've always had the same sentiment: I enjoy scalpers getting screwed by re-releases. Those scalper-types are consistently rude and non-flexible in my experience.

when you are selling, do you have to be in the Dojo, sitting around and waiting for someone to message you to complete the transaction?

I'm not sure how people on console do it. I don't think they copy paste, but just manually type the name of the seller.
