This has to be the greatest commercial for MOTU ever. I was more expecting this to be about the cartoon line coming next year since this one is from 2020 but it never fails to put a smile on my face to see the family playing together.
Can you please make a full 30 minute or an hour series of just this amazing stop and go animation please! This is truly amazing! I would watch every episode.
I liked the message this gives, there's more ways to entertain yourself than sticking your face in front of a small screen all day! You have the power to change.
Truth is these toys are for us, not them. I myself loved this toy line so much that i told my mother back in 1992 (I was 12) that after she sold my collection in a yard sale i would have every one of them back one way or another. Now everytime i see one i buy it, snap a pic and send it to my mom with the caption "told ya so".
Mattel - Forget the Netflix show, forget stylized animation. You want Toy Promotions? You want more Sales? Do entire shows just like these stop-motions using the toys themselves. These looks so freakin' cool. I've never been interested in the Origins design and style but the Stopmotion just makes me want to go out there and buy as much as I can get my hands on.
That would be so awesome, but I imagine twenty minute episodes of this kind of detailed stop-motion would be extraordinarily labor intensive to make. That being said, I'd love to join the team if it ever came to fruition! Mr.Curtoons is another excellent animator who I'm sure would love to lend his two hands!

A cartoon is fine. I remember the 80s cartoon, and have cels of it hanging at my office. Just make one that honors the IP… and isnt woke. That’s all we ask. And this spot is great. The animation is great.
I hope past figures are readily available on the website and as for mattel creations i hope the figures are made to order so any one who needs,wants them can get them no hassle in the us and outside the country 😊

Allerdings gibt's in Deutschlands leider nicht immer alles. Demnach ist der Markt auf ebey noch ne Lösung. aber nicht unbedingt die billigste. So habe ich leider für meinen Orko mit 50 Euro schon gut in die Tasche greifen dürfen. Auch der He Ro mit 45 Euro war nicht unbedingt ein Schnäppchen. Aber egal. Wenn man etwas unbedingt möchte, dann zahlt man auch gern einmal einen höheren Preis.😊 Übrigens ist das Video hier echt super mega genial.❤
And you can't even get some of the older figures because everybody has jacked the prices up too high. Origins has to be one of the hardest lines to collect. If you missed figures like Camo Khan you're pretty much F'ed. Mattel needs to get all the figures out in more numbers so the prices will go down. Why is the Jitsu/Buzz-Off wave rotting in every Walmart while every other wave is impossible to find??? That was wave 7. Walmart totally skipped waves 8, 9, 10 & 11. And now they are getting wave 12. How the hell are we supposed to collect the line like this? I can't pre-order online.

Do you have videos about how you make these? I think I watched one about how you made this commercial, including shaving the biceps of some arms down to accomodate further range of motion. I wonder how you made the mouths move. Also, i'm curious how you incorporate live footage with stop motion. I recently saw one of your videos where you made a clay double of yourself to stand in as you when filming the green screen stop motion sequence with a monster coming up behind you. How do you stitch the live video together with the stop motion video? And are you able to watch the live video frame by frame in order to match your movements up with the clay stand in??
you wont get these answers here...its on my channel where i have making of videos. And these are technical questions that would take alot of time to answer....look for tutorials on compositing animation with green screen and live action
This is great work. Seems a bit too little too late though. This line is disappearing to an online only brand and being replaced at retail with the cartoon line.
It's from a couple of years back, but added to this channel yesterday. The timing is kinda odd since it could've already been up but fitting because this is where the remaining parts of the Line will be.
