I don't have The new he man yet looks amazing.... the 1st he man head already grew on me i do like it .. i also made a quick custom using the savage he man head. With the regular he man hair to have an alternate mad action face
Yeah, the retail version of that 40th anniversary He Man is not the same as the one you're showing here-it's vastly inferior. Nothing's metallic, just a flat gray. Sword and Axe are just gray plastic with no paint at all on them. No felt on the pants or belt, just plastic. Yet, the prototype pictures they showed for it when it first went up for pre-order was for this version you showed, so when we got the figure in hand, it was quite a disappointment.

My least favorite would be the Viking He-Man with those two ugly Heads. Keep it up HP! PS I am jealous of not having the NA He-Man (which I really like) because thanks to Mattel he was never released here in Europe and now you can pay 150+ EUR for him on ebay ... thanks again Mattel 😑
Congratulations on the review. Now, my personal opinion: I found the color tone of this new figure excellent, the face considerably better (although it could still be improved), the harness and the axe are perfect! But honestly, I didn't quite like the body, as in my opinion, the trapezius muscles are too high. So I think the perfect He-Man would be the face, harness, and axe (including bronze colors on the belt and bracelets) combined with the body from the first "Masterverse" version... but that's easy to customize! Luckily! So, that's my opinion... and congratulations once again! 😉👍🏻
Hahaha he came out maybe a year and a half ago. It was on Mattel Creations. Four different characters with monochromatic flesh tone colors. They are still on eBay for cheap.
I agree with the Revolution He-Man being the best representation of The Netflix Revelation and Revolution He-Man. People piss and moan about it, but they're ridiculous. His headsculpt, the paint job on the head and face, the body build, the sculpt of his chest brace, and the fact that he IS taller than the first wave Mastervers Revelation He-Man, makes him the perfect iteration that matches up with the cell shaded depiction. It's not perfectly matched because his entire body would have to be 1/3 larger than this new He-Man figure is. He is ridiculously large and ill-proportioned in the two stories. This figure, despite being that much larger than the rest of the figures, is still not perfect to what we see on screen. But I am very impressed with the figure in hand.
nahhh why are they ridiculous? all netflix he-man figs are awful and cheap made. Even the last one with new torso and head sculpt isnt premium and the face final painting apps looks like a fig of 10 bucks!! Check out the MOTUC He-man battle armor!! THATS THE ONE WHO CANT BE BEATEN by any Mastercheapverse figure.
