I don't know why everyone praising this guy for hunting this beautiful wild species! It’s a shame. We should protect wild creatures. This world is for everyone.
Wow! What a Ram! Pretty nice backup rifle they had for Dan, looks like a Ruger Hawkeye in .270 win? I love the guide with the periscope, definitely never seen that before lol. Great vid.
Congrats on the ram! Personally I don't get the draw for international hunts like these...seems like a huge pain in the ass and very expensive. I guess you can say "I shot a xyz critter", but honestly it didn't look like much of a challenge. Just as happy hunting in N. America.
i'm far from rich but if you're wealthy, hunted everywhere in N america and yearn for adventure i get it. it's like leveling up in hunting. like how normal guys start off their hunting careers. first you want to shoot a deer so you shoot you first doe. then you try and shoot your first buck and shoot a spike or forky. Then you want to something bigger. Then youre holding out to try and shoot an old and big buck etc. These guys have so much money and have shot everything in n america so then they look to what can I shoot next so they go to africa or do these international hunts in asia. with some i think it definitely turns into an ego thing too with some these guys chasing their "slams" or whatever, and trying to kill the biggest or most dangerous and show it off at these conventions every year. yea it can seem silly to blue collar middle class joe shmo hunting public land deer every season, but i I won't knock them for being successful financially and taking advantage. And I appreciate them filming it so we can live vicariously through it : )
