Central and Western Long Island has received 2-4 inches of snow from this event as a storm system from the south impacted the tristate region. Areas in Northwestern New Jersey and Pennsylvania and Connecticut received a general 4-8 inches with locally higher amounts. I measured 3 inches in Central Long Island by the time the snow finished. The time lapse was taken from 4 PM - 6 AM on 1/18/2025 - 1/19/2025.
