Thanks for your video! I think I have the best strategy for the reading section. -Read the title (imagine that you love the subject) -Read the first sentence of every paragraph and the last sentence of the last paragraph (twice) -Read the question first and look for keywords -Every time a question appears and says paragraph 1 or 2, read the whole paragraph for future questions. -Beware of modifiers -Eliminate answer choices. I'm taking the toefl in a few weeks! I'll let you know how it goes!
OMG! This really helps! Well organized and I like the method of how it was taught and strategized compared to other videos that I saw in YT. Thanks Reggie for this. 😮🎉👍👏
Hi Reggie. Thank you very much for this video, for the first time I find the perfect method that helps me not to be afraid of the reading section. I am officially a subscriber of yours, greetings from Peru.
Hi Reggie. I am a subscriber from Bangladesh 🇧🇩. I am preparing for my toefl exam. But I was quite confused about a lot of things. That was making me more afraid of the exam. Then I found your RUclips channel and it was a life saviour. Now I am confident enough about the speaking and reading section. But I still have confusion about the listening and writing section. It would be very helpful if you make videos about the listening and writing section like you made about the reading and speaking section. So would you please make videos to help us out?😊
how do we need to take notes? take notes while reading or after reading. And how many minutes or seconds we need to take note? i feel like i will not manage to take note and read at the same time cuz lack of time
@@БекмаматТагаев-и8о you should take notes on the first paragraph to understand the title and any other definitions of the title at the same time that you answer questions 😊
@@БекмаматТагаев-и8о There is no specific amount of notes you should just write definitions of the title that you think are important from the paragraphs
Thanks for your helpful clips, Reggie. However, your strategy in answering the WHY QUESTIONS is not always applicable because I have seen cases where the answers came after the quote even at the end of the paragraph. So, I guess that the way to tackle such question is to read the whole passage. Thanks again
@@souravpaul1116 hi bro! Yes you should spend no more than 1-3 minutes on paragraph one taking notes. And as you answer questions from other paragraphs you can write down definitions of the title if you see them in the following paragraphs
It's called TOEFL KMF, but you need access I'm uploading new ones for free on my Patreon everyday. And will also be doing live classes over there that we can take together and the upload will be free too! patreon.com/OptimalEnglish
Hey Reggie, thanks for such a valuable information. I am interesting in one-on-one clases, but I did not see your email on the channel. Could you please provide it?
Yes you have enough time. You should take notes of the definition in the 1st paragraph, them as you answer other questions, take notes of important definitions of the title if you see them
So modifier means they show you a correct sentence and then change it to make it wrong. They used pine, so "IT PRODUCED BUILDINGS" is a modifier. The paragraph doesn't say that :) Hope that helps!
I used your toefl speaking tips and got a 26/30 on speaking, and a total of 112 on my toefl! thank you so much for your help.

why do we need to read first sentence of every paragraph and last sentence twice? for every paragraph we need to read like this?
Loved it!!! Hopefully I ace my exam. I will definitely put these tips into practice
