Thanks @Reggie I highly need it I took the test 12/21/24 I am waiting for the final results, but I know I fail I didn’t have time to finish the reading part I couldn’t response all the questions 😣. Also the listening part is awful some of them is not easy to understand all of that. Now I don’t know if continue or tryin it again. Because I was taking ESL classes at a community college, so I thought maybe I’m ready for the test. But Toefl is completely different than taking English classes in person.

do you get enough time to do note?

Please teacher assess my response The article introduces the topic of salinity level in the Salton Sea in California. More specifically, the author emphasizes the increasing level of salt in this lake. While the reading passage provides several solutions to prevent the increase of salinity, the listening passage challenges them all by arguing that these points are not realistic and practical. First and foremost, the author states that there is one solution to directly remove salt from the water using desalination facilities that evaporate water into steam by leaving behind dessolved salt. In contrast, the lecturer is against this option because the solid material that is left contains harmful and toxic elements that could be blown into the atmosphere. As a result, humans inhale this air which causes harm to their health. Secondly, the author suggests the method of diluting salt water in the lake by adding Ocean water that is 20% less salty than the water in the lake. Therefore, the reading passage believes that this approach can reduce the salinity in the lake. However, the lecturer counters this method by asserting that in order to realize this practice, the construction of pipelines is necessary. He goes on to say that the government would not be able to afford expenses of this construction because the nearest Ocean shoreline is 100 km away from the lake, requiring a long distance of pipelines to build. Thirdly, the reading passage suggests controlling the level of salinity by constracting walls that would manage the salinity level in certain ares, while directing fresh water to another zone. However, the lecturer argues that these constructions are not stable, as the systems of walls could easily be destroyed because of geological activities like earthquakes. Therefore, the lecturer asserts that these walls would not reduce the salinity level in the long run.
You did a great job summarizing the main points of the passages! Keep practicing! Your vocabulary and sentence structure is good. Paragraph 2 (your 1st body paragraph) For the writer you should have a comma, semicolon, or a full stop so I can clearly see the 1st solution and the details supporting it :) Other than that, very good job!

Hey thanks for the informative video. Please check my repsonse. Although mang believe that recommendations from friends and family is a good option in making purchaising decisions. In my opinion, relying on internet research is a best option. We can get a wealth of valubale insights from several people through their reviews and comments. The reviews are really helpful in making decision. For instance, few weeks back, I prepared to buy a new mobile phone. THe available data on internet regarding mobile features really helped me in my final decision to purchase the phone that fit my needs. However, I have admit paul feedback that family and friends recommendations is also important in descions. With that being said, we know our choices well so by adopting internet approach in our purchaising is a best option.
Thank you so so much! I had a lot of struggle understanding how this task of the Speaking section actually works! Like, real, the amount of videos I watched trying to get its insane!! I’m so glad I found this 2 days before my TOEFL test 🤍 once again, T H A N K S
One thing is that there should be no background music, especially while answering. Secondly, you did not mention examples; you just provided reasons and explained them.
@@farhannazir8172 that’s the point examples aren’t needed! You’re exactly right. You don’t have time for examples in 45 seconds. And GREAT point on the background music. I’ll fix it next time!

how do we need to take notes? take notes while reading or after reading. And how many minutes or seconds we need to take note? i feel like i will not manage to take note and read at the same time cuz lack of time
@@БекмаматТагаев-и8о you should take notes on the first paragraph to understand the title and any other definitions of the title at the same time that you answer questions 😊
@@optimalenglishwithreggie7050 thanks)
@@optimalenglishwithreggie7050 so we need to read and write down at the same time? and how many words must be while taking notes.
@@БекмаматТагаев-и8о There is no specific amount of notes you should just write definitions of the title that you think are important from the paragraphs
In my opinion, I would definitely rely on my friend and family's advice. I think they are the ones who always want better things for us. Additionally, online sources are not always right; for example, once I ordered a book online , and it was written many features about the book, but when I received it , it was not as good as they said. I strongly agree with Paul's Idea that our family knows about our interests and therefore, they are likely to give us the best advice. Give me feedback plz❤
