When PSY 'gangnam style' happened, that actually made it worse for Asian music to actually make it into the U.S. it became such a big viral trend and people treated Kpop as that only, as only the comedic aspect of it. There wasn't any big growth until BTS came into the picture and they just with sheer numbers just destroyed the global music industries. BTS broke stereotypes, They actually really made it possible for Asian artists to be seen Everyone in the Kpop industry knows that Kpop was able to advance into the global music market because of BTS.

Yeah, Korea is very nice, but when it comes to foreigners anywhere in Korea outside of Seoul aren't very liked, Seoul is very tourist friendly. Due to it being the most populated. But its hard for others to go into clubs if you're foreign, people also are viewed very different. therefore they will say anything to you even if its offensive.
