I watched a demonstration of the new adhesives used in modern sheet steel panels in cars. If you try to pull the steel panels apart hard enough, the steel will tear before the adhesive lets go. The adhesive also doesn't warp the sheet steel at all, and it 100% seals the joint, so it totally prevents rusting at any point. I was sold on the adhesive method, to hell with welding it anymore.
I've used this stuff, and it's very good! For all the doubters, how come VW/Audi, Ford and GM use this stuff AS STANDARD to bond certain panels on the production line, and in fact insist on it's use when reparing a car or van when still under warranty?
It's basically a sealer to keep rust from forming between panels...same as they did at the factory, even back in the 70's, just this product has more bonding properties and better rust prevention.--it still shows spot welding the panels.

Modern bonding adhesives are extremely strong. For some BMW quarter panels we are not allowed to weld just bond.
people don't know how powerful are the resins now, who believe the polymers are just cheap-weak materials don't know nothing about
AZR NSMX1 and now 6yrs later even that much more better I used it's on two of my trucks
Fusor products are crap. 3M panel bond adhesive is ten times better. Boeing uses it in their airliners. What does that tell you?
Weld the panel if you have to use glue then maybe you should glue model cars together
LOL I wouldn't use that if it would prevnt a rattlesnake from crawling up my ass
has the litlle bugger crawled in yet ?
