I'm doing this monologue for uni portfolio, and your performance helped me a lot to get in this character. Thank you so much, it was absolutely fantastic!
Thank you very much! Honestly, the tips I can give are to really get into the mind of the character. For example, for Leah, she almost is in love with Phil and is very nervous around him but wants to hide that massively. Also, allow silence as it adds to the naturalism x
Thank you this is really helpful for my Lamnda exam, also this is amazing since i think leah is a very difficult character to play also have you got any tips? xx
Thank you :) Oh great, it is such a brilliant monologue for that sort of thing. I’d advice that you really try and get into the mind of Leah in the moment... how does she feel about Paul and how would she act due to that on the most basic level? That is the most important part of any monologue of Leah’s as Paul is all she thinks about, really. Also, remember that there has been a supposed murder of one of her really good friends and that would be constantly playing in the back of her mind, making her act slightly unhinged, which just makes the whole situation with Paul more awkward. I hope this helped :) x
Leah must be a really hard character to act but you nailed it!
Thank you very much, appreciate it x
