- We brought our dog Shadow, who is a labrador from India to Canada through Air Canada Cargo.
I this video we have tried to capture the entire journey.

I enjoyed watching the concept of taking your dog from India to Canada, but I am sorry to tell you, you can not hear your voice or understand what you saying, because your voice is not clear. Shadow a beautiful dog and he looked like he handled the trip okay and was happy to be reunited with you guys.

Hello, thanks a lot for sharing such a emotional and beautiful moment . Couldnt help my tears! ❤ we are also planning to get our furbabies Archie and Casper from Delhi to the States but having trouble in understanding the process specifically ensuring their comfort during the travel. Like one agent told us we cannot put any clothing or blanket inside the crate although they will be travelling to a place with harsh tempwratures.. but happy to see that Shadow was provided with one, because labs dont have fur to protect them fr extreme cold. You also mentioned there was a layover of 12hrs, it will be very helpfil of yoi cam share how ot was handled , how he got potty breaks. Because another agent said that opening the crate may be risky but the thought of them stuck for 24+ hrs wothoit pee break is terrifying us. And lastly can you please share the agent details?
Sorry Banani for replying you so late. I missed your comment. So, yes you cannot put on the clothes to your pet while they are inside the crate. This is for safety reason that airline don’t want that accidentally your dog gets entangled with crate. But yes you can put your used cloth inside the crate to provide comfort to your pet. Secondly, Shadow had a long layover in Toronto, and at Toronto airloort there is a pet handling facility which take care of your pet in case of long layover (of course we pay for that service). They take out your pet out of the crate for pee and poop break. And i request air canada cargo for a picture and they were so nice to wend me a picture on an email where Shadow was sitting out of his crate. Airline doesn’t take your pet out if layover is very short but if its long then they put your pet out of the crate. If you need any more info please feel free to email me at sahil.verma0991@gmail.com

I have a Siberian Husky, 4 years old, weight around same as your Shadow's weight.

I used 48 inches crate and yes i used the mattress inside the crate.

When you were booking the cab to take him from cargo office to your accommodation, you said UberXL also didn't work out. I couldn't catch what you said at the end about what option you used to transport him. Can you please reply what you used. Wasn't it Uber?
@@Thilinis93 sorry i missed you comment and i am sure by now your pet is already in Canada but for the sake of others i am replying now. We tried Uber Pet first but then we were getting Sedans then we tried Uber XL and call the driver if he is okay with pets but our crate was not fitting in then that uber guy went to the airport and arrange another taxi which was bigger in size and our crate fit into that.

Hi, cost of transporting a pet depends upon multiple factors like- size and weight of the pet, destination country, airline route etc. Yes Shadow was there with my parents and he just came a week after me.

I am not 100% sure about rabbits but i think so its possible to bring a small pet in cabin which is under the weight of 8 kg which has to be remain in the travelling bag throughout the journey

Plz let me know much we have to pay at custom and is kind of x ray nd mri has to be done everymonth? Plz plz guide me
Its a easy process and no such xray and other requirements to fulfill afterwards. Yes you have to pay some amount at customs but thats total around $180 including CBSA and airlines.

I have a question related to after landing formalities for a pet. Can you help me understand that as I could not find much information related to that, I m here in Vancouver and planing to transport my pet from Delhi to Vancouver. Looking to early response.
Hi Sarneet, good to hear that you are also planning to bring your pet here. After landing we need to obtain clearance from CBSA after paying a certain fee then we have to give that document to airline cargo team they handover the pet to us. @@CoupleOfVlogsSB no my agent told. When i collect my pet at the toronto airport i will have to pay some money? So i wanted to knoe an estimate how much u paid before collecting your baby from the airport.
@@Dream-lm7nj you have to fee at two places. One at cargo office which is around $30 and one at CBSA which is around $150

Shadow came in a cargo plane.. Kharcha depends upon many factors like dog ka size, weight, origin city etc
