I don’t think Linda knows the kind of entrepreneur she is... this woman is a whole industry the last person I heard with such a story is the founder of L’Oréal
This lady is strong. Oh My goodness from not having paraffin for the stove, to Beauty cottage. I love that she refers all her success to God. She is a beauty in and out. May God see her through for Salim
The part that she talks about sickness got to the core of me .It took me back two years ago when my mum passed on.That we should talk about it early enough when our loved ones get sick ,that statement ,I will remember .Don't die alone with your problems, talk it out, talk it out.🙏🙏🙏
Miss I know your mum. She used to have an office in our building in town called Elimu Sacco 1989! She was such a humble lady. And she had a best friend they were always walking together. Wow!

Linda my dear daughter. You are so amazing. You are such an inspirer and an encourager. I saw you growing up and prayed with you and for you. I will pray and stand with you. You sure do make me proud. Love you!
We were Tenants in one of the S/Qs at Mama Linda's house & the mother would always treat us, as her children and not even Tenants. She was the best Landlady we ever had, may her Soul continue Resting in Peace. Kudos Linda, the story is indeed inspiring. Hardwork & resilience always pays.
Hi Lynn you have knocked on my door today. My niece Linda is a very strong and hardworking ladylike her late mam.I always tell her to aim for the stars.I can assure you that you ain't seen anything yet.
I love love Linda's Maria story. Finally someone conquers with me on books.Telling people that when I start reading I start yawning automatically and it looking shameful, and choosing subjects you love and hate ,and finding yourself at an average grade.I totally relate to her story. Then again knowing the origin of Nubian twist,I now totally understand why the struggles I have had with the hair. Apparently,I bought the hair and went to different salons trying to make them understand how it's twisted differently from the rest. You're blessed. And may your husband be healed totally in Jesus name.Grace and peace is sufficient for you and your family.
Linda Mariah’s salons have HANDS 👏🏾DOWN 👏🏾one of the best hair services in Nairobi. She’s very hands on and you can tell that her employees are happy to work with and for her. Very fast service, the work done is FANTASTIC, everyone at the salon is kind and ready to help, they offer you a drink + a snack and even give you a gift when your hair is all done and you’re ready to leave! I’ve been a customer for a couple of years but I didn’t know just how much she’s been going through. God is in control, Linda. Thank you for sharing your story! ❤️

Amazing story/ reality ,I am an entrepreneur and I have really picked alot. thanks Linda/ Lynn kwanza apo what's your worth, not giving up,giving your best, not limiting myself, not comparing myself to others just doing it despite the fear and soooo many more...its just a thumps up. The most important part is about the cancers disease, my mother in law was diagnosed with the same 12 years ago n she's still alive up to now n strong. God has been faithful, keep praying anaskia. Another thing look for professor Mwanda a haematologist at KNH. He has walked with us upto date.
I started going to Linda Mariah in 2019. In 2020, since Lang’ata was quite a distance from where I lived/ worked, I thought to just go to town and get Nubian twists done there. I was so disappointed 😔. The twists started falling from my head before I even left the salon. I cried on my way home. 😭 since then, any time I want Nubian twists done I always go to Linda Mariah. 🤣🤣good job Linda! ❤️
my gosh, all her story is so nostalgic to me considering that I also lived in Langata and moved to Rongai at a young age and I was a young gal within the same time she was. Everything sound so real to me, it's all the things I went through, it's like she's telling my own story in most parts. God continue to bless the work of her hands. My gosh she is a whole vibe...we need more people like this in the world. I just cant believe how she understands hair and client care, she literally understands what women need when they go to salon. With your husband's sickness mamaa, you will still overcome IJN.
Woi am a mother of 2 looking for any kind of job aki am in the verge of going into prostitution I have walked looking for a job knocked doors tried washing clothes aki and nothing is coming through... Linda Maria, I was among your natural hair clients. From 2007... Inloved what you did for us at our wedding. Our hair and make up was on point. Bless you mama.
Such an inspiration. I lost my baby girl almost 2yrs in Nov and I told by counsellor I will open a beauty shop in her name. This has motivated me to even open on such a date so that it brings beautiful memories.
I have a daughter exactly like you. She is not a books person but she is such a creative and I realized this when she was 3. I support her in all her creativity and forget the damn grades. Iam so grateful to God that Iam able to support her, kununua paints and all that.
She did my makeup during my wedding, that was 7years ago, am so encouraged dear, I will not loose my value, am currently open I glam salon, am so encouraged. Thwmk you Lynn for this ❤️

This is so encouraging I love the part Lynn said " it's doesn't matter how long it will take even if it's 7 to 10yrs you will definitely get there" thank you lynn this was just what I wanted to hear God bless you mamaa❤❤
I am saddened to learn Linda's mum passed, she was an angel, so very sorry for the loss. I haven't been to the Beauty Cottage in a while but my experience for when I used to go was like going home. Everyone had a heart of gold, and that is what kept me going. hope Maureen is still around, she was my main hairdresser I am so happy to hear it has grown. I will make my way back. Thank you for sharing with us your journey Linda
May she R.I.P. She left a legacy behind. I love the name Beauty Cottage introduced by her mum. She's smiling down at her feeling proud to see how far her daughter has gone. From Zero to Hero. Grass to Grace.
This is my fav salon in Nairobi for braids. Let me say this, I had a minor complaint after my first ever visit years ago and I contacted Linda. Her response was so humble and genuine. She gained a loyal customer that day. Bless you Linda & team. Praying for you and your family.
Very.inspired by Linda's story. My take home is to allow my children to follow their Star and not force them to do what I want.Quick recovery to her husband Salim🙏🏼
As a black woman, I wish I had this kind of a hairdresser huku Canada. I had to nyoa my whole head recently cuz braids left patches at the back. I did the same in 2020. Huku tunajitetea tu without any support. You ladies in Kenya, be grateful to have such stylists.

I am really challenged to start what God has been calling me to do, where I am right now. Lynn... Great job. I will book an appointment at the salon sometime soon. God bless
Congratulations Linda, you have a big heart, you are not alone. My sister is battling cervical cancer and it's not easy, she's just started Radiotherapy. God is able to heal your hubby totally.
Listening to this story is so inspiring but this Lady needs prayer okay please hear me the herbs of the earth are healing for our bodies so if you have Neem and Moringa bushes in your country please boil them as tea and give its to your husband to drink also if you can getting the Moringa bush boil it and put him in the bath with the bush wrap him in towel and let him sweat it should help him to recover I pray God turn the situation around chemotherapy is nothing always the answer I worked in such a department anyhow if you do the remedy I just suggested aggressively and mix it with prayer your husband should recover
Before quiting stop for a moment think why you wanna quit and where you are going if is too good like a paradise you will HV the courage to stop quitting .keep keep pushing there's no better place until you better yourself.
Been a long time silent customer of Linda since spring twist times to the crowding before covid to now that you have grown. I wouldn’t have known how much you have gone through …

This is my fav salon in Nairobi for braids. Let me say this, I had a minor complaint after my first ever visit years ago and I contacted Linda. Her response was so humble and genuine. She gained a loyal customer that day. Bless you Linda & team. Praying for you and your family.
I have never missed an episode of Lns this is where i get inspiration and hope listening to such amazing guests .
Wow..what a lesson..and Quick Recovery to Mr Salim Simon,God will come through for you in Jesus name, you have a beautiful and strong wife.Be blessed.
You people are my role models... My take home is how God organizes things in your favour and also the just do it even if afraid

Congratulations Linda, you have a big heart, you are not alone. My sister is battling cervical cancer and it's not easy, she's just started Radiotherapy. God is able to heal your hubby totally.
I'm inspired, I'm challenged. Skills ,talents are the thing. I also like the way she is aging beautifully, that hourglass shape.
