Congrats on the new car, but the A-class is notorious for its unreliability, i wouldve said get a small bakkie like a bantam or np200, or get a mercedes estate or another W204 C-class, but even with the A-class it looks like a good purchase, so i would say keep it mostly stock, maybe your boombox or an aftermarket radio
ive never heard of them being unreliable, they are very popular here in germany with elderly people because of the suv-like seating position. thats also the reason i wouldnt be caught dead in one of those because they instantly make you a rentner in a dreickesauto

Great everyday car, the doorlock is 99% a small spring in the lockingchest. I had the same in my w203. 😀

Clutch is just play on the dual mass flywheel. Drive it till its completely done still good for now
