      I feel like he should combined the grades, with 2 main categories.
      Offense & Defense.
      With the idea behind the study, to look at is…
      Defense:
      Errors made, putouts on home/other bases, & throw velocity/accuracy from the field. Others if needed.
      Offense: On base %, number of total hits, RBIs, OPS/OPS+, others if needed.

    Gleyber prior to this game as leadoff was .303/.439/.455 160WRC+ overall. He had another solid game tonight. He's on a 6 game hit streak slashing .289/.382/.355 2HR 8RBI this month. I'm a Gleyber fan and some of the things that were said about him when he was having his mental lapses which cost us games were justified. This month he's been swinging a hot 🔥 bat and you have to give him credit for picking it up even more at the right time. I understand completely that he more than likely will be gone, but I'm and praying he can end this season on a high note for this franchise by being a big part in winning a championship.

    Quality win here. No production at all from the middle of the line-up, and we still won. Also, Clay "10 Blown Saves" Holmes managed not to blow it and not to come close to blowing it.

    • @cambonious23
      @cambonious23 2 месяца назад

      How many times did he blow a lead of more than 1 run? I think twice. Also, some of those blown saves were because of weak infield hits and errors and inherited runners. Some were his fault but that 10 blown saves is a bit misleading.

    • @Karthos1000
      @Karthos1000 2 месяца назад

      @@cambonious23 He's being paid six million dollars to deal with those situations. A few blown saves are inevitable. Even Mariano Rivera had a few blown saves over the course of the average season. But 10 blown saves in fewer than 40 attempts is a lot more than getting unlock a few times. I'll grant that at least two of those blown saves wouldn't have been blown but for errors on defense. (Although he was also responsible for putting the defense in a position where it needed to make plays to bail him out. Buckner didn't lose game 6 of the 1986 World Series for the Red Sox on his own.) He's being paid to make saves and he's failing more than 25% of the time.

      Amen my bro, God bless u as well...I agree he has picked it up since being taking out the game and sat for a game, however his mental lapses has been an issue his whole career and those lapses causes runs and even games, I believe he has been our worst second baseman for a very very long time, I've been a fan since the late 70's and I honestly can't think of one who has played for us for half the time Gleyber has been with us. I would also say we have our second baseman of the future in Jazz, I believe in off season we need to get rid of torres, find a good 3rd baseman and a 1st baseman and we're good on position players, pitching is always need it...

      I doubt he will make 3,000. It took him 7 years to get to 1,000. He may get 2,500 which is still solid!

      Why? He deserves MVP. He is in the NATIONAL LEAGUE now. He isn't competing against Judge anymore--hahaha. Ohtani will be NL MVP and Judge will be the AL MVP.
