"An abyss of corruption and dispair." Jesus. Sounds like my last apartment. No amount of Culexus assassins are going to fix that place up. Soul or not.
I think these ae the scariest of the Assassins. Not necessarily the most deadly, but their Blank aura and speculum are super intimidating, even to non psykers.
My understanding is that the silent sisters are a genetically stable human mutation much like an ogryn for example, part of which involves them being natural born blanks. Culexus are just random individuals with the pariah gene
So they have some individuals. They know, it's only 1 gene. So, they probably know where this gene is in the genom. What stops them from breeding or editing embrios if they are so rare?
My understanding is that the gene thing is speculation rather than certainty. No method of reliably creating blanks exists outside of possibly the sisters of silence
@@lordgod9958 Ok, maybe. But then there's a solution: collect the genom of all blanks you can get your hands on. When you have at least about 1000, map it in comparison to non-blank genoms. Then you may see, where the difference is. It's possible even with our current technologies and statistical inference methods, for example GWAS. Maybe I am going too much into details, but I like mashing up science with fantasy ;)
I had to resubscribe to your channel for some reason. I subscribed back on one of your skaven videos, I think their origin story about the bell tolls. Seen a few of your videos pop up here and there, kind of forgot about you guys. Then you come out with the Tyranid video and it must have picked up on my algorithm cause now I'm seeing your videos again. I just had to resubscribe. I swore I did it again after the Tyranid video. I know with some other channels people have gotten "shadow bans" in the form of forced unsubs, but those are usually political or controversial channels. Don't know why it would happen to you guys. Maybe check if they have outstanding copyright or content strikes on you that they haven't fully processed. This shit is all automated now, you guys know. Anyways, very glad I'm seeing your videos again. Production quality is top notch, and whoever this narrator is, he's one of my favorite lore narrators of any channel. Great depth in his voice.

@michaelhowell2326 They do. Imagine a soul as a spinning saw blade. A blanks soul spins the opposite way. Thus they don't produce a psychic "signature" , but that eerie soul draing feeling. Or something like that 😂
@@ericdavis9210 I like your analogy, but I just don't think they do. It may be bc I've heard them called soulless forever, but without a source saying they do have souls just a different frequency or direction or whatever, I just can't buy it. No disrespect meant at all.
@@michaelhowell2326 none taken lol. I can't remember exactly the source so it's cool. I think malcador said it in one of the books or it was in a book with him in it 🤷🏿♂️🤣.
I don't get why Pariah's would be hunted and persecuted. Cause they make people feel bad and on edge? This is the grim darkness of the future. The standard mood of the average imperial citizen is probably 'miserable' to begin with. What gives?
Every sentient being is to some degree psychically sensitive, having that sense completely baffled gives normal people an intense feeling of indescribable uncomfortability. Having that aura constantly present from birth, affecting everyone you meet would make you incredibly unpopular and prone to abuse, which would be harsher than normal because nobody can stand to be around you. All that adding up, blanks often don't make it to adulthood.
A very logical question to something very illogical a pariah triggers the fight or flight response in everyone. Imagine next time you walk into a store and a family with a 6 year old is walking out. But for some reason your fight-or-flight response goes on maximum alert and you want to either run screaming from this perfectly normal looking child..... or attack it.

The Sisters of Silence and the Culexus are a deadly combination when working together.
Why they are in same battlefield through?
Unless there is a execution force around.

Seems like a misalication of resources. That's like saying the Army and the Marines are a deadly combination. But you're not wrong.
Sisters and Custodes are a deadly combination.
Sisters and Culexus is just redundant.
It would make sense in response to Magnus Ahriman and a few other rare baddies
I have always found culexus assasins to be incredibly fascinating, thank you for this amazing video

Aye! BoC is the best Warhammer content creator and is definitely one Lords of 40K creators, especially longer format.
Culexus assassins, even demons will know fear
That's why I love this assassin
Why are they all so stacked?!
I would adore a final video covering the more obscure assassins ❤
Perhaps one of the most deadliest weapon in the Imperium, which inspires total unimaginable fear for the souls of all living mortals.

Where do i find the music tracks being used for this video? Great work

The Adeptus Astra Telepathica is stopping them. They really don't like there being more blanks in the galaxy.

Logically, psychers pose a bigger danger than pariahs or blanks.
