The world famous Harris Tweed can only be produced in one place on the planet, The Isle of Harris...and Lewis. From traditional farms, known as crofts, to the traditional mills, and traditional weavers, wool becomes yarn, and thread becomes fabric, in a land beaming with history.

alot of people think wool is hard and scratchy not harris tweed wool garments there soft to the feel and touch.

👍Terrific info. I’m so happy that the fabric is still produced in people’s homes on the island. I’m glad they have the protection of 1993 Harris Tweed Act. Even as a child I had enough good sense to know that Harris Tweed was something special.💞

Brilliant video. Been to Callanish Stones lots of times,it's a great place to visit. Ultravox " One small day" was filmed there,in the middle of Winter....it looked FREEZING!
