Question for you…. I have been watching all of your videos and I am inspired by all of the information you have shared about healthy hair journey. I am struggling with peri menopause thinning, especially on top of my head and I was wondering if you had any tips for me. Also, can I leave my hair out and still maintain healthy hair? Or do I need to tuck it away for me attain growth. Thanks for your help.

@@HairliciousInc well it could be a #freashlyrelaxed series or something of the sort that you can make like a guide in a sense for us girls who are new to the game and don’t know anyone that can help with their relaxed journey
You can start with what to look for to know if our hair is healthy I see you talk about like when it needs moisture different from protein I don’t know what that looks like lol
Also how to not panic when we have a lot of breakage and how to recover (cz girl I’m going through it)
What ingredients to avoid because great job with the protein and moisture product video you did I made sure to save everything you said in notes
You can also tell us what to look for if we’re doing salon relaxers because I got my second relaxer a week ago and the lady put the relaxer on my whole head including the parts previously relaxed and I didn’t know until I watched your video that that’s a NO
Speaking of you can also let us know how to know if our hair is grown out enough to get another relaxer and what to do to prep out scalp before because I know you use the hair oil thing but I don’t know what are other options because salons don’t prep scalp at alllll
The safest way to wear our hair I already messed up by doing 2 heat method instead of 1 my last wash day because I found the channel today unfortunately 🫠
Oh also how do we know how much is too much because even when using heat protectants of leave in treatments what if I’m not using enough or what if I’m using too much so I’m killing my hair
🫣🫠 lol I have ALOT to learn but these are things that I know alot of us want to know

Is the ORS creamy aloe shampoo protein based? Is that why you don’t use it anymore post relaxer?

Happy New Year Val, could you please create a full video of a recent wash day as well. Especially since you've just relaxed it. It would be so refreshing to see. And also if you have the time to.
I also relaxed my hair a few days ago.

Also is this a necessary step after a relaxer touch up? Thanks

The ORS has dmdm hydantoin which is considered a formaldehyde releaser. Should still use it.

Just curious, because you are one of the original relaxer gurus, does the concern of the cancer relaxers have been linked to and the class action lawsuits regarding it concern you? I’m not judging, I am just asking because you are very educational on hair health and relaxers and I learned so much from you regarding hair care. I read up on it and after consideration I felt what was best for my family was no more relaxers. It’s a personal choice and I respect what anyone decides.

Aren't you concerned about uterine cancer? I used to relax my hair with Revlon but now I can't because of the risk to health. What can be used instead of relaxer? Is the hair industry remedying the issue?
