Olá gostei de ver o video as compras tudo muito bom o leite apuí no Canadá eu compre aos sacos e também tem em cartoons um abraço para voces beijinhos 👍🇨🇦🙏❤️😇
Hi Rosie…..I have noticed that prices have gone up quite a bit there in Sao Miguel……it’s still cheaper for us Canadians compared to what we pay for groceries here…..it has gone up so much but our pays did not and it seems to be the issue everywhere….❤😘
Thanks for your video Rosie ❤️ our milk in Quebec is very expensive 😂 it’s almost $8.00 for 4 litters in bags (we buy the 1%) we also have carton and plastic jugs! Because we’re so close to Ontario we buy our milk there, we save $2.00 for the 4 litters! Keep up the great work Rosie! 🤗
Hi Rosie , great hull you got a lot but I didn’t think it was that much.Yes in Ontario that’s where I live it’s in bags comes in 3s then you put the bag in a plastic jug 😊thanks for sharing have a great weekend ❤
That's exactly how I remember buying milk when we lived in Canada. We had the jug to put the plastic bags in too! But I think it's only an Ontario thing. I hear the rest of Canada doesn't sell milk like that. Thanks for watching 🥰
Hi Rose I I live in Toronto Ontario. Yes, the milk comes bags. To expensive the shopping I don’t think so. Everywhere we go nothing we can do. . . Thanks for sharing.😘
I feel like the prices there are so high on certain things. I lived there for many years and after just coming back from there on vacation, I noticed a huge increase on everything. In Ontario, a lot of people used bagged milk but I purchase in cartons. I actually miss the milk from Açores so much. I wish it was sold here 😢
Thank you for sharing. There is nothing wrong with talking, if you fell like talking talk, those who are interested will listen, those who aren't won't. Just enjoy yourself. Have fun! How is the water situation in S.Miguel? Does the water company put a lot of chemicals in the water? How about well water? Is the underground water polluted by chemicals and such?
They treat the water from time to time. It really depends where you live. I know in Vila Franca they don't drink tap water because it has a strong taste from the treatments. But in many places tap water is the number one option and it is very safe to drink. We don't have well water here. It's not a common practice to create wells here. Because we live on an island, our water is natural spring water. You'll find fountains all over the island with fresh, healthy, clean water, ready to drink. It's nice and refreshing. We even have a brand of water that's from here, called Gloria Pátria.
Your prices were interesting. In Michigan, food is not taxed. Some of your items were more than we pay and some were less, but factor in the difference in euros, you do pay much more. Thanks for another interesting video.
Every time I watch your grocery hauls, I am more convinced that we are getting ripped off at grocery stores in the United States. Some of the items literally cost twice as much here.
Well it's a bit different.. when you compare incomes, obviously it depends which state you live in, but here in Portugal we earn almost 5 euros an hour and I believe in the states it's more than double than that, if not triple. So it's normal for things to be more expensive in stores as well. It's a different type of economy.
todo esta bien caro.. aqui la leche la venden al galon en plastico duro. thank you for sharing Rosa.. I think that it would be scary to live on an island in the middle of the ocean...
Hi Rosie before you give your spending total I did think it was over 200 euros everywhere food is expensive yes we do have magnum ice cream and the milk comes in bags I live in Mississauga which is close to Oakville which area there did you live ❤
Ahaha you forget that you're surrounded by ocean when you spend every day here. It's not as scary as you would think. Except when the big storms pass by! Sometimes there is so much wind that it almost blows you off your feet 😅. Thanks for watching
Thank you for your information. I will be there in a couple of weeks. I’m definitely gonna have to go to.meu Supra to try out their rotisserie chicken. Where do you purchase your shampoo and conditioner make up and body lotions?
I purchase shampoo and conditioner at casa cheia because they have the best deals. I buy makeup at the store Kiko at the mall and when it comes to body lotion, I have bought it at any store, I usually just look for a sale.
Great haul thanks for sharing!
Thanks 😊

I've never heard of Keswick. Is it a small town? That's what I remember we'd drink in Canada I think.

That entire grocery hall would have easily cost us 300-400 Canadian hahaha it's not funny but it's insane what we pay for our groceries now 🥴
Yikes. That's no fun :(

Há pimenta da terra no continente, e não lhe chamamos malagueta...
Então fui mal informada!
