Hi, its just a cheap generic sdc shock mount - like the T-bone ones: www.thomann.de/gb/the_tbone_ssm_4.htm This is one of two of the first mics Extinct made that I've been trialing and feeding back on - so the mounts were just a temporary fix till they made their - rather impressive - newer mounts.
Fair enough - but that is not the point of the video and nobody is suggesting it should - it's just to test the mic response for Extinct Audio. It actually takes eq extremely well, and I could see some instances where this sound would be perfect - so opinion is always subjective. cheers.
Nice sound on the neck body position, I have the same Mic, can you tell me what shock mount your using , I need one to fit it, Thanks x

$400 brand new in 1992. Mine sounds so sweet. As nice as new D-55’s just not as pretty
It's definitely a great sounding, reliable workhorse! You do need stamina though...
Mother do you think they"ll drop the bomb?
actually - "You know that I care...What happens to you"
I was gonna say...Pigs on The wing. Recognized it immediately.
I wouldn't have used a ribbon mic on that guitar.
