Right on point Fumi. I became a single mom when my daughter was 3 years old. I made a promise to myself i would never have kids out of wedlock again. 19 years later, 2 twin boys whom are fives years old. Together with their dad for 7 years, married for 3 years. Sometimes it pays to wait for the right person who wants and respects you.

I had a picture in my head of how i wanted to look in my wedding dress, i started working out the following week after he proposed. Ask any women, one of the fastest times to get pregnant is after losing a large amount of weight. Got pregnant, made my kids, lost the weight again and down from a size 20 to a size 14, AND HAPPILY MARRIED TO A WONDERFUL FATHER AND HUSBAND. I had a son out of wedlock..he's soon to be 25😊 and when he was 3 I met and married my husband. I had another son in my marriage soon to be 19😊 . I know my first born struggle in the tug of war of me and his dad..but in my marriage there was no tug of war..marriage is Complete each has a role to play..your harmony may be different than mines but harmony is what you need..Even though I was a baby mommy...I wouldn't wish this disconnect on my worst enemy..my house has harmony baby daddy house thrives on disfunction...but my point is 1st I did it backwards 2nd round I did it with a commitment. SUCH A HUGE DIFFERENCE..

AGREEEE. Oh my goodness I'm so glad that you're talking about this. When I was 24 I began to realize all of what you are saying, and I felt alone because no one was talking about it. In fact now there's research showing it is more often closer to 30 that the frontal cortex finishes developing. For context, I am a man, and came to feel like I was very taken advantage of by older men when I was around 17-24, and I %1000 know that this understanding of protecting the young and not sleeping with them comes more naturally to women. Almost every woman I've spoken to about it, gets it. Men... 50/50. Anyway, thanks

I have empathy for these women (Draya, Joie, Porsha) because they haven't learned how to have self-worth. It takes time to see one's internal issues and takes steps towards growth & maturity. My son father is 10 years younger than me. When we met, he had basically no money but was working 2 jobs. When we met HE LIED about his age. He said he was 5 years older than what he really was. I had and still have a great career and my own money bags and knew I would have to support our child more than 90%. Although we didn't stay together, he and our son do know each other. They are in communication. Our son will be graduating from college in MAY 2024. HE has already surpassed his Dad academically. He is doing well.
