Some people at circle sell genuine goods but it's also known to have bad guys there. It's also a lorry station. The guy stepped on you probably bcos he was trying to distract you to pickpocket or he heard of you and was annoyed you getting the phone back. I hear it's a chain of leadership so all must be settled before it's released. A friend encountered this.

I would have cried my eyes out I remember when my iPhone 11 Pro Max got missing but fortunately I left it in an Uber and what helped me was that was in the night around 3am ish and the driver came and dropped me and my friend but then I left my phone in the car and all I could think off was what if the Uber guy takes it or someone entering the car takes it.. I remember I payed to get into the club and that was immediately when I noticed it was gon!! I got mad like my friends were already in having fun and everyone had to follow me, we left, I tracked the phone and it took me to the Uber guys apt but we didn’t know what was his apt number and we tried calling him and no way wasn’t picking we left still mad and sad but not giving up, I tried one more time... it’s funny cause it was a drunk friend of mine who even helped me more, anyways I called his number and he picked and he said he sees and he’s gon come give me and he came I gave him some money for gas and that was how I got mine back 😂.

Omg happened to me too except I set my phone on the bathroom stall floor right next to my foot (I know, disgusting, but there were no surfaces aside from the toilet and I didn’t wanna leave it in my pocket for fear of falling in the toilet) & someone reaches their hand in there and swiped it! A shame. I didn’t get mine back either but luckily I had insurance a brand new phone beat me home to the US.

How can you conclude that, ‘when you lost your phone, Go to Circle’ !!!!, Literally you’ve been a victim to how circle works, and do you think it will work for everyone as it worked for you? What if you couldn’t pay for it? You would have given up. And it’s your body language that it’s used to sort you out when you find out your phone has reached circle, so don’t get it twisted, it’s an electronic market place, the ones in the shop are genuine and the ones hanging around with one or two phones are the badass so be mindful you’ve generalized Circle, you have no idea how that place has generated income for the genuine guys. #PeaceOut ✌🏻

U look sweet and beautiful hun, but if I may correct u,,, 'Circle is the biggest legit phone market in Ghana mixed with some few criminals who buy and sell stolen phone. And i believe it's everywhere. One just have to be smart not to fall on that direction.
No it's not everywhere. The U.S has over 1010 prisons that hold over 3000 inmates each. They do not tolerate anything like that. They love to put people in prison. If you signed your wifes check and she went to the police. In some states you would be given a 7 year prison sentence on a first offense charge. This is the problem. Ghana steals so much that people normalize it. it's savage. There will never be an open market where everybody knows where to get fake goods and stolen goods in New York or London. The federal police will be there in seconds. The stealing in Ghana is not normal. Even the president there talks about it. Ghana has gotten as bad as the Nigerians and even worst. They even steal and scam their own family members. It's pathetic. The men just sit around waiting for mama to hustle money to make a pot of soup. Very weak men there. They need education. But the men are so prideful that they won't even take a suggestion to do better without arguing. They are known to argue and quarrel like women. Very weak men. They have become an international embarrassment. many people in different countries are talking. Ghana needs to step it up a notch. I really feel sorry for the women. It's sad to watch.

1. How did they manage to wipe the phone?
2. The only way they can wipe the phone is if they had the password.
3. I am wondering how the iPhone got pinged by Find my iPhone when it was switched on. Find my iPhone works on the bases that your iPhone is connected to the internet, which suggest that the iPhone was probably not password protected because you need to actually log onto the iPhone and initiate a service that talks to the internet - I may be wrong but I am sure that is the case.
4. Why would they need the IMEI number? What does that even confirm? How would they even confirm the IMEI number you gave them if they did not have the password to get access to the iPhone?

Circle is a market popularly known in Ghana as a place for Electronic gadget such as phones and other stuffs, there are sumsung offices and all kinds of brand of Electronic offices around . But that place is surrounded by bad people (GangShit) which makes it bad for business. Nowdays some phone dealers around there don't tolerate nonsense, if u Fake goods to a customer and you're caught u might be beaten to death. Things are getting abit cooler now in circle but years ago it was worse .I personally have an experience with circle

You were not served well by your cousin or friend who worked on your behalf. They're locals and they should know u don't go to the police station empty handed. All the police wanted is half of the money you paid, and they would have locked those guys up, and also get your phone for you.

I have a friend who is from Accra Ghana. He was born and raised there and when be goes home...he never takes his actual phone there. Even he knows that someone may try to steal it. The police in Ghana are crap. They want money to do their jobs. Next time you go.....buy a prepaid phone and switch the sim card to that prepaid phone. Never take an expensive phone there especially if you are going to be out partying. That's what they do there. Even my friend tells me all the time and this is his home. Girl you never be careful. At the end of the day....it doesn't matter if you are familiar with the place, be careful and treat it like you have never been there before.

My phone was stolen March 31, 2017 in Ghana. At an event at the State House, a government building where I would have expected high security. I'll never forget that day. I lost almost everything. Thankfully about 60% of my content was backed up but what I lost was so important.
Lesson learned is to back up my phone content daily.
Also don't mislead your followers into thinking everything at Circle is stolen goods. That's not entirely true. Yes there's some sketchy things and some stolen goods, but there's a majority of people who are hardworking and got their goods legally from wholesalers usually from China.
