I really enjoyed the transformation process and some of the pieces fold up in incredible ways. Took me an hour first time too. An amazing figure for any Transformer collector!

True, but you have to think, Hasbro/Takara has to worry about child safety issues...3rd party does not...because even though it's considered an adult collectible because of the price, the toys are still mainly for kids. 3rd party knows that they are geared towards adult and can take greater design liberties.
This. Take the Planet X Dinobots for example. They blow pretty much every version before or prior of Takara’s various Dinobots over the years out of the water.

I say screw size in this case, that 600$ Hasbro Unicron has no excuse for wearing most of it's planet surface in Robot mode at that price and size.
@@Draconicus702 Except Haslab Unicron is overall more movie accurate in both modes, has way more detail, uses less parts forming than this one, has a better planet mode, and doesn't look smaller than Omega Supreme.
@@Draconicus702 I was at NYC comic Con and saw it and it's bigger then a foot by a bit. The thing is so massive with so much detail. I spent a good few minutes admiring the damn things.

Nothing but high praise from me - this thing is a labor of love. I could not get past the backpack and kibble on calves for the Haslab version. Plus I think the head sculpt for Studio Cell looks much better.

I remember having a transforming Unicron when I was a kid. It was black and gray in came with the tiny transforming Moon call dead end that had this little pig that could unlock some of his like retractable like guns or something

I know you keep putting disclaimers that you don't have the haslab unicron, but I honestly think you bash it a bit too much for not having it yet.
Recency bias
The only thing that could make this set better is a equally sized cybertron/ cyber planet or moon (with damage) so you could display unicron as ethier consuming the planitoid or if in robot mode destroying it.

Here after your haslab review. Is this one still your definitive Unicron or did haslab take the throne. I think this one is much better looking than haslab, superior face, back, and legs. I also like that it's less of a shell transformation.

Thanks for this excellent review. I love all the small details that have been included in this figure, wee things like the tv screens inside his chest. I cant yet over how well articulated he is, especially for a bot that scales with Hasbro Titans. Hope my shelves have room for him, as I'm very interested in getting Scorpinok as well. Got this guy ordered from Showzstore- and is currently being shipped - Cant wait.

Hasbro's looks WAY better than this and it has the more accurate transformation compared to this knock off.
You do realize Hasbro has been getting OWNED by 3rd parties. Case in point: The OFFICIAL AoE Leader Optimus compared to Unique Toys Challenger.
Hasbro's Unicron has major planet kibble on Unicron's back in robot mode by making it look like it has a cockroach or beetle stuck on its back. It looks awful. Along with the exposed planet plates on its lower back legs. While this bootleg does it cleanly.

This does look superior in most ways but one major one for me, even though the figure is huge I think it's too small so the Hasbro one is superior in that aspect alone.

It looks so cool but it sucks that despite being about the same size as Omega Supreme, it costs more than 2x the price of Omega
Its actually smaller than siege omege. Omega is 20 inches to the head, this one is about 18 inches to head only. Its about the same size as potp predaking or cw devastator.

Although this figure is really good I don’t think it should be compared to Haslab unicron because this is aimed to be more of a masterpiece Haslab is aimed to be more of generations.
Well I do remember them saying as well that the Haslab was also designed to go with MP figures as well as they never plan on actually doing an MP Unicron
I love your reviews but this is nothing but click bait. You promised a unicorn review but no unicorns are in the video. You keep going on about unicorn this and unicorn that but there are no magical unicorns to be seen. I really wanted a unicorn beast machine transformer but all I get is a round basketball. Actually he is 20km- 25km tall if you go off the scale of the transformers that flew through his eye in that space ship. That's a more like city size then a planet. But still freakin massive !
The engineering on this thing is amazing. There's hardly any kibble on it, unlike an official figure I've seen *cough* *haslab* *cough*.

A rather biased review considering you do not have the officially licensed one there to compare it to. Not that any of that matters to me though, as I refuse to support third party companies. Simply put, I view them as I.P. theft.
Not biased at all, just type "hasbro unicorn" on Google and you will see, it has a giant packback and also full of kibles. This figure is definitely more accurate and also cheaper. If you want to support the official figure it's your choice, just saying that you will pay more for a less accurate version. Also about your ip theif thingy that's not true, because the 3rd company engineers this figure themselves, the engineering is completely different from the official figure.
Hasbro doesn't seem to mind 3rd Party figures, they provide figures Hasbro hasn't done or won't do. They do however go after those that make KOs of their official figures.
I don't really like 3P but legally its not IP Theft, its just figures that just have very similar, but yet unique appearance and transformation to an existing character.
That looks amazing :D I'd love to get my hands on him but international shipping will be a killer and so far it looks like our local guy that stocks the 3rd party stuff isn't selling him. Hopefully in the future though.

I will go with haslab , AS unicron is known best for his gigan planet mode , and robot mode is far more bigger and more presence than this one which is so puny.

This is gorgeous, looks far more accurate than the Haslab one, and great colors. Can someone explain the difference between 1st and 2nd release, why the 2nd release is cheaper? If that is a common thing, are we talking 1% cheaper, or might it be worth waiting for?
Wow what an impressive piece! I am super duper tempted, but he wouldn't fit anywhere in my apartment, especially with SS Devastator being completed soon. I agree that I don't see how hasbro's Unicron is going to beat this one (except in size). I love how he looks like a fat guy with just the arms transformed haha

I had 2 of these on pre-order via mfg seller and they upped the price by 100.00 each before they would ship and told them to stick it and refund my money. So just know if you try ordering one of these direct from a Chinese seller they may try to rip you off. Just be aware.

That was a very good review of this figure. UNICRON is large and in charge!!! The size against other Transformers is just about right in my eyes but could be bigger but the figure is great looking , good job didn't see a problem with this review, loved it!!+

haslab unicron is for collector's speculating, just because it's limited. Also the size is impressive, so it could be a status symbol for some local toy shops. Cell is actually more a toy and more affordable. Due to CELL's regular size about 45cm, the production cost is much lower than the official one. Many G1 Toys look like shit in robot mode, even though their prices go through the roof. The unicron isn't made for the mass, but the CELL.

This Cell Uncron can only be 45cm but it is much better/Much better done!!!
