All i can say is, kokichi is by far one of the best written and made characters of all time in danganronpa. Hes not komeada, hes not junko, hes not like any of the other villians in the franchise. Hes his own thing, using lies and truth as both each other, not only causing trouble and a stir or himself and the rest of the cast, but at times even throwing monokuma under the bus, overshadowing him too, playing him at the same time. Its insane how good kokichi was at what he did, and it shows that even when hes not alive hes still got that kokichi influence (trial 5). By far not my favorite character for being them, but by far my favorite character in the sense of how he is himself.

Ok I'm destroyed. I'm really just sad Shuichi never got to understand Kokichi at least while he was alive. Sorry probably not the video to say this on but I feel Kokichi did care alot more than he let on about everyone.

Remember when shuichi and maki found a thing that can catch tiny bugs in kokichis room? I think kokichi planned on having miu making that for gonta before he died, but unfortunately it was too late for that. I think this picture is showing the moment when he was drawing that thing while thinking of that time when gonta talked about the tiny bugs.

In the class trial of Chapter 5, now that I think about it, Kaito kinda ruined Kokichi's plan. It was said, that he was supposed to confuse them, and have them arrive at the wrong answer. BUT HE JUST SHOWED UP, EVEN WHEN SHUICHI DECIDED TO HELP. I'M STILL PISSED OFF AT KAITO BC OF THAT. ((also I think that Ouma is under-apprecitated))
It was Shuichi fault that he realized what was going on too late, not Kaito's. If Kaito didn't show up and they all voted for Kokichi, they would all die. The moment Shuichi wanted to start lying, Monokuma knew who the culprit is for sure. No lie would change his mind. That's why Kaito showed up

Oh, there you go! I've seen this song applied to Chapter 5 of SDR2 a lot, which is always fun to watch, but it definitely seems to fit NDRV3's Chapter 5 more, and the swap to Tsumigi was well played! And those ending illustrations with Ouma were very cute. But also: *mental screaming*

I cry almost every time when I see my baby Kokichi die or suffer in some way, I just can't help it. He is just my favourite out of all my 45 children, no matter how I look at it. He just deserves the best. I ship him with happiness.

this is about ch5, since it shows Maki with the Remembering Light. but the last verse is about the mastermind ("who was the one pulling the strings from behind the scenes") so it seems fitting for the mastermind to be shown, right?

The most intense uno game ever
I hink that Kokichi is a character written amazingly. There were times he was being himself, times he was not. His tricks were incredibly complex to the point were even Monokuma even didn't get his tricks. His did all his power to end the killing game, including devising a plan that would get himself killed. He also acted as the villain of the game, so to end it. No one liked or cared about him, but he didn't seem to care. He was willing to do anything to end the game, even if it meant being the villain of the game and having everyone one hate you. Not everyone may like him because of his childish personality, but I personally like it. He's my favorite character across the Danganronpa series, cause not only was he written in a complex way, but also the way the writers pulled it off. It was executioned perfectly. I'd also like to see what he was like before the game or the game in his persepective, not just because I'm an Ouma fangirl, but because I want a deeper dive to see what's actually in his head.

*Major spoilers*
Kokichi wanted to be hated, he knew if he wanted to end this game, he couldn’t really rely on the word *trust* so he simply didn’t trust just about everyone, as he believed they were either dangerous, couldn’t end the killing game, or both. The exception was Shuichi, the only person he believed could end the killing game and pursue the truth.
Kokichi is without a doubt someone who values his life over others, he saw that Miu was planning to kill him, so he took the only route he believed he could, thinking Gonta was aware of the decision he was making. The only reason he died in the end was because he believed he could end that damned killing game by setting up an impossible murder.
Kokichi also played the role of the mastermind (I’m not entirely sure why), furthering the hatred the others felt about him. His rudeness, lies, mastermind faking, and manipulation that had Gonta killed was something no one was going to forgive.
Granted, no one mourned his death like they did for Kaito, but he was not understood for his reasonings until too late. Not to mention, no one knows what happened post-game...
I apologise if this was horribly written, I took whatever information I knew of about Kokichi and threw it all together to make a terrible summary. Also I wrote this at 4 in the morning so I’m tired, but that’s not an excuse, sorry. :p
