Hey friends! I have launched a Kickstarter campaign for my new full-length solo album! Please check it out here: www.kickstarter.com/projects/maxcarlisle/max-carlisle-titanium-reign
I want to clarify something about this video, as I see a theme in many of the comments which implies that I was not clear in my presentation. I'm not saying that "there has never been a double humbucker Tele before", what I am saying is: This Tele style guitar has many features that you don't normally find on a Tele such as double humbuckers, a roasted neck and body, stainless steel frets, a compound fretboard AND neck profile, a coil splitting switch, and an arm cut on the top corner of the body. And it is because of this lengthy combination of cool features and great playabilitythat I love this guitar so much.
It's crazy how many cuckoo's fly over the nest. And it's right there below them! lol. Great work as always. I've forever wanted an excuse to buy a Tele, they're player friendly or something...used to think it was the fretboard on the Fender ?!
I really just felt like being completely sarcastic ass and rambling on about nothing important it's a good looking and sounding guitar. Who gives a shit what box people put it in mentally. It has six strings and pickups it's an electric guitar. Lol
Max nice axe roasted maple neck and the frets that last! I'm going to check m' out... They may have did a great setup ,cause the knew ya gonna review it channel on ya channel? Thx Awesome axe
This is exactly why I love this channel so much. You showcase excellent guitars and gear that work equally for beginners and professionals. There is no BS about boutique being the only way. It saves players a lot of time, money and aggravation.
I've been a subscriber for about 2 years now. What I like about your channel is that you are not a guitar snob. You review each guitar for what it is. You don't trash a manufacturer because it doesn't start with a G or F and you understand that everyone in the world doesn't have thousands of dollars to spend on a guitar. I myself am a huge fan of "affordable priced" guitars. I buy cheap and quite often I'm surprised by the quality of a sub $200 guitar. If I feel like upgrading some of the parts, I do. Now don't get me wrong. I don't put $3000 rims on a $200 car but affordable but better than whats there. Then I give them away to beginners or folks that can play but can't afford one because the bills come first. Max, what you do is superb and I'm sure your other subscribers know that. I recommend your channel to a lot of people. Please keep it coming.
Received my EARt Honey Burst this morning and I have not done a thing to it or the setup other than tune it I cannot stop playing non-stop. This guitar is absolutely beautiful, plays beautiful and sounds incredible through my Diezel Herbert into a 4x12 w/V30s. I do not see how SUHR can compete with this type of high quality at such a FREAKING RERASONABLE PRICE TAG!
I have the blue one. It is great. Needed some trem adjustment but other than that it is phenomenal. Not only do they make great guitars but they are a solid company that cares about their customers. They sent my son a single coil Strat for a school project for free. We did the unboxing and setup and a RUclips channel for a project. They are good people.
Max, so cool! I bought this guitar a month or so ago, because I, just a slow beginner, thought it seemed like a winner to buy. BAM, there is Max with one. You confirmed what I thought, when you have more talent in two fingers that I have in my two hands - so cool to see you discuss its qualities and yes, playing it like a master!!!! You the man!!!! Keep rocking and setting a good example for young players, you are an inspiration to an old man, so I figure you help lots of young warriors keeping their focus and bearings streight. A modern knight.
This guitar just proves what I've been saying for years, there is absolutely no reason companies like Fender and specially Suhr can justify the prices they charge when the guitars they produce are no better than this $400 guitar! I've been building electric guitars for a while now so I know what goes into building this type of guitar, it's not that expensive to produce specially if you have modern CNC capabilities in your factory. I do still believe that true custom shop guitars are worth a bit more because of the attention to detail and higher end components and finishes though. $400 for this guitar is a really great deal!
It’s really amazing in these times, if you look outside normal big companies, your channel shows how many smaller brands seem to listening to what people want & afford. What you can get fir good price is changing lot of minds🤘🤘🤘 thanks keep great videos rolling.
While on the subject of the less expensive guitars, I picked up a new "bone white" Epiphone Lucille recently. Plugged it into my 15W Marshall Valvestate practice amp and the neck pickup rewarded me with Robbie Krieger's slide tone! It's a full-on professional grade guitar that I'm mighty glad to have snapped up before they're all gone. The white ones are limited to just 300 world-wide. I'm not, nor have I ever been interested in becoming a shredder, even when I played in Hard Rock bands in the 1970s and 1990s. I just made my Blues licks fit whatever song the band was playing. My Lucille suits me down to the ground.
*Holy Moley; that Tele is PERFECT. As a player who LOVES humbuckers on his Teles, this one is above and beyond improvement. And what a price! I'd love one in a natural finish or darker color, however. Thank you for the review, Max!*
So I bought this exact model in green a couple months ago. Ironically, in the same fashion, I never really liked the typical tele setup. But this one is amazing. And I absolutely love it.
I just bought the EART TL-380 honey burst and NK-C1 Classic Flame Maple Veneer-Orange, for under 600.00 with free shipping. I have no complaints at all, in fact, I'm very pleased.
So I’ve had my TL-380 for about 3 months. Let me say I bought new in 1978 a Gibson LP Custom. Have gigged with it for years. Every time at home when grabbing a guitar to work on songs I end up grabbing the Eart. I have the same one in this review. I don’t even think one needs a Floyd Rose trem unless your a big time shredder which I’m am not. I took it to my Luthier and he was blown away. The only thing he recommended was some copper shielding around the controls. I wrote Eart and they sent me for Free the Ck 1 tele. Now the tele has a problem with the bridge set wrong. There is more space on the high E side than the low E but on that guitar I planned on changing the bridge anyway. Amazing company and still love my LP but I also love the TL-380. Great video
Ive been looking for this kind of tele that can have a trem that same as like strat but never seen nothing but then here i found your video thank you so much for this im having mine next week thank you so much i wont stop to support this channel
I have a Godin Radium...Gibson scale length and headstock...fixed wraparound bridge...Tele body shape and control plate....and Bare Knuckle HSH config with splits and a 5 way switch, love it.
And Max makes us all fall in love with another budget guitar, with his playing. 😆 Nice job as usual man. I've had my eye on these and the firefly stuff for a bit. One of these will be my next budget mod project for sure. 🤘
I am a diehard Fender Telecaster standard player that is more in to Country, Classic Rock & Do Wop and, not in to shredding or, Metal but, I find your channel here very useful & extremely informative. I love the Telecaster in this video and, that may be the upgrade to a Telecaster that I have been looking for. Whenever I am on stage and, go from Country to, Classic Rock of the 50’s, 60’s &, 70’s, I have to switch over to my Stratocaster which can be time consuming at times. I think the Telecaster you’re playing may be the answer to my situation on stage. Great channel for sure!👍👍🎸🎸
Did you check out the Charvel tele guitars? 24 frets, fishman fluence pickups, locking tuners, tusq nut, reverse fender tele headstock, carmelized compound maple fretboard on a 16 radius shred neck. it is insane. This guitar is my main touring/gigging guitar.
@@todd-1 Awesome! Yeah I have the black satin hard tail. Called the Pro-Mod So Cal Style 2. Has a Tusq XL nut too. and locking tuners. Oh and a shred-fast neck. Not trying to take people away from this video though.
One of my all time favorite guitars I ever owned was a Washburn WT-4V, an 80's super tele I got used in 92'. It was White w/ black binding. Not sure what kind of locking trem it was, I have never seen one like it since, it was a little different, it was speed loading, but where the blocks would go that lock down the string was like little individual doors that that took two tiny allen screw to tighten down on the string as it came out of the bridge. It had "Select" pickups, but it had the pointy Washburn headstock. It just felt really good to play and sounded really good. It had a super fast super strat type neck, I'll never forget that guitar. I ended up trading that and my mid 80's BC Rich warlock for a Marshall jcm900 combo and an old 70's Tulip les paul w/ a Dimarzio Super Distortion in the bridge, 1994. If I could have two guitars I previously owned back it would be that Washburn tele and that Ibanez les paul and that Marshall amp. The amp got stolen a couple years after I got it, but i have yet to have an amp that sounded that good.
01:55 You commented about the frets not being too tall but well finished off with rounded ends and made of stainless steel. Stainless steel frets will not wear as much as nickel iron frets, if at all. And with the roasted maple neck/fretboard, there should be less movement from the wood platform they sit in, so stability should not be a problem in the future.
Philip McKnight did his own demo of an economy Eart Tele model (probably this same one) that was marketed by Amazon. His assessment was more than favorable. He said it would suit both beginners and professionals that many years of study and experience under their belt. If I wasn’t more than satisfied by my current Tele, I would consider getting one of these.
If you get a chance, take a look at the Musi Virgo and Capricorn lines. For just under 300 bucks: SS frets, bone nut, gorgeous roasted maple neck, more than adequate pick ups and mahogany bodies (which does make the guitar line a bit on the heavy side.) The finish on the entire line is nothing short of perfect... seriously perfect! Keep up the great work on the reviews!
I seen this video love the reviews you do guitar maxx u are the reason I got an eart telecaster the set up out of the box was great I didn’t have to do nothing to it except tune it thanks you
I have EART's top model, the Eat-1 not many vids of that model, I bought it at a risk, cost me 600 new, now they are 900 absolutley my favorite guitar and I have Gibsons etc, they don't get played anymore, killer necks for sure, great playing by the way.
Charvel So-Cal Teles are in this spirit. You know, EART is showing off how much Leo Fender got the modular design process down pat. I hope their builds stick to standard sizes (of their making) and enable some mix-n-match in the future.
I know what you mean when I saw an older 80s squire with a Floyd and hsh in cream and the how heavy it was sold me on it for 175 bucks 5 yrs ago like new too. This one is special too and we all know it's gonna be shredded like only you can do. Hard to believe this is a tele but it's neat having a tele style ax that sounds like what we like.. it took me along time to be captured by the tele look too.
Very good sounding guitar and quality features. I converted my Strat to be more like Tele, as it combines the best of each model. Good on EarT for modernizing the Tele design. The rounded fret ends and Stainless Steel frets are excellent.
I would have liked to hear the guitar in clean mode on both pickups configs + splits and the disto at the end. Not enough clean mode demo. A pedal can emulate disto but not a very good clean mode if absent from the guitar to start with. Thanks for your demos. Nice discoveries for us!
I too was not a fan of the Tele body style, until I came across the Schecter PT-FRS, in flat black. It has a humbucker at the bridge and a Sustaniac at the neck. Its a great guitar!
I love telecasters, more so that lp's. I think that the Telecaster can be quite versatile. I just finished a tele style build with GFS Mean 90's (p90 pups), I love it. P90's are my favorite pickup. The idea of having humbuckers on a tele is great. I may have to consider a tele with humbuckers in the future. Now if I can just convince my wife that I need my own guitar studio on our property, loaded with guitars!
I have an EART LP and I switched out the Humbuckers with a P90 and a Gold Foil Single Coil. Guitar Fetish has tons of pickups that fit almost any guitar.
I have a Schecter Sun Valley Super Shredder same basic body style with two EMG 70'S which are versatile as hell . A Floyd 1000 which I have blocked since I don't really use Tremolo very much . Sea Foam Green with a Maple Neck and fret board and Medium Jumbo frets . Paid about a $1,000 but they go for $6 or $8 hundred now . Best Guitar for the price I have ever owned and I have been playing since 1981 so I have owned a "BUNCH" of Guitars over the years . The Axe max is Demoing is alot like my SVSS . Killer shredding Guitar and made really exceptionally well !! Thanks for the demo MAD MAX !!!!!! LOL
I am so impressed with this, for one thing you’re playing is absolutely off the charts, absolutely awesome. This guitar is unbelievably nice. The price of this guitar for what you are getting is unbelievable. I am so very impressed.👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼. Your videos and reviews are top notch, awesome!
Fender made a Tele with a bridge humbucker years ago, and it had a trem! I own a 2002 Fender standard Tele HH, and I've put Seymour Duncan's in it, it sounds amazing.
Tasty, very tasty Max. Your playing is most enjoyable and your skills are impeccable. This Eart guitar sounded not so Tele, but still rocked with presence. I have the Older Eart T-style and it's my favorite for sure. Last two Earts I bought direct from Eart and they gave me a black EART tee-shirts too. I wear them proudly. Thanks Max for your hard work making videos and bringing us all the latest News and Musical products! \m/
Good video dude. I demoed one of the EART Guitars on my channel awhile back and I was also impressed with their build quality. I sold the guitar, but that was probably a mistake.
@@StackBundle No one is crying if a guitar does not have a comfort cut. Only 1 of my 6 guitars has them. But just like MAX mentioned it just feels good when a guitar has one.
I bought and returned this one (in pink) last year because the bridge seemed like it was in the wrong place (too close to the neck) and also I'd keep hitting the horn when I went up to the higher frets, which doesn't happen on my Strat. I'm sure I could have gotten used to it, but it made my Strat feel different when I went back to it. It is beautiful though and sounded decent/good.
Hi guitar max , thanks for your video , I decided to buy one of these a few days ago. As all RUclipsrs have mentioned, the neck is amazing. But I did find a few flaws . The set screw for the tremolo arm doesn’t match the supplied Allen key , or any Allen key I have available. So it basically will just spin inside the set screw or strip it out . Found the coil spilt switch seems backwards to me , like I would want full hunbucking in the position that faces towards the bridge. Not the other way. But that is just me . The paint has a few very minor blemishes. Also found when putting on new strings that they tend to slide back in the tremolo while your trying to restring . You end up with extra string winds. So it’s like you need to pull them through, then place painters tape to hold in place at the bridge. Found an issue with the high e tuner , either it’s sharp inside or to slippery. I have had 2 strings break or slide out when bending or using the tremolo. Seems stable now . And there’s also a crack line at the wall of the upper neck pocket . It’s under the paint . But you can clearly see it . As far as the tremolo , it’s nice overall, I feel like they could add a full block more like the gotoh 510 . Curious if that tremolo could be easily out in , but the block size may not match there’s . I also found that if you want do subtle vibrato , you need to loosen the springs and remove one spring . Otherwise the back of the tremolo hits the body and your subtle vibrato doesn’t work . The guitar itself is really comfortable, arm carve is awesome, no pain from the normal hard tele edge . The nut edges could be a tad smoother. Would love for them to just add locking tuners . Tremolos like these need that . I would gladly pay another $40 bucks for the guitar if it had those , and you know they can do that for cheap Probably cost them 5 bucks for locking tuner option . Pickups are pretty darn good . Putting on elixirs made the guitar sound and play even better. Overall a very nice guitar. Just needs a little bit more refinement. happy I saw your video and added this gweetar to the collection.
Ya know, I'm a Tele guy through and through. I'm a big John 5 fan, and always wanted his HH style. So, low and behold, I find a 1986 or so Fender Contemporary Telecaster. It's got EVERYTHING here. HH, floyd-ish whammy setup, and a split coil switch. No pickguard. A real heavy lifter for the beefier stuff, subtle where it needs to be, and it has the split coil for the twangyier single coil country stuff. Fender Japan has been making the "Boxer" series for the last year or two, and they're phenomenal reproductions. For my money, Fender Japan > Fender USA.
Interesting watching this. 30 years + or so I had a guitar custom made by my friend who was diving into building at the time. I chose a piece of mahogany & he did the rest. Loaded it with a Seymour Duncan in the neck & a split coil Bartolini in the bridge. Later I swapped the original neck for a Warmoth rosewood nek with an Ebony fretboard. My other two electrics are 70's Strats but that Tele is my "secret weapon".
If that super Tele came with locking tuner keys would totally set it off perfectly. As a Tele man myself, I’m tempted to buy one to truely compare to my other models.
Get the Harley Benton Fusion-T. It's got pretty much the same features as that Eart, but has locking tuners and a Wilkinson trem. The fretboard radius is different (9.25-14 compound vs 12), but everything else should be the same, plus it's cheaper with many more color/top options. I have one with flame maple top and roasted maple neck and it's awesome!
Hey Brother, very nice review on this ax. I have 2 Eart guitars, the standard strat, and there version of an explorer. Now i need to mention, a have two other strats, MIM fender, and Vintage V-6 Thomas Blug strat. A Gibson Les paul standard, PRS SE custom 24, and a couple Harley bentons too. T-62, and there H3 335 copy. I am constantly reaching for the Eart explorer when like you say, I need to get a lick down for a quick recording. The hamburgers on that sound phenomenal. The necks played great on both of the Eart guitars. I definitely am going to put this one on my list. I appreciate the review as always, great job and thank you for all your honest opinions and chops! Denny Evergreen Colorado
I picked up an Eart smx-sg3 a few weeks ago and im diggin it. The seller is a sales artist for a music company that ships Eart guitars to him to sell. I got a 2nd generation sg3 which the roasted maple is darker. Im in no hurry but will switch the pickups out soon. I got the satin sunburst finish, they call the color Virginia but I got some compound polish and polished the body and it looks pretty slick. Brightened the color and put a shine on it. Almost looks like a sienna burst now. When I bought it they were $169 on Amazon then jumped to $269 and now they are $172. Not sure whats going on there but im pretty stoked about my sg3👍
Agreed... BUT! Dude! You have to try the "sort of" new Fender FMTHH (Flame Maple Top Humbucker Humbucker) Tele! It's kind of a "FrankenTele"! The body is Mahogany with a Flame Maple Top, two Seymour Duncan Humbuckers (a 59 and a Pearly Gates) with coil tap... and... Wait for it... A SET IN NECK! LIKE A LES PAUL AND TELE MIX!!! Beautiful frets and extra large Abalone Dot Inlays!!! Oh... AND THE NECK IS AWESOME!!! God bless and take care...
I have this guitar, and everything is amazing. But, for me the bullet fret ends were annoying and a little uncomfortable or painful sliding across them. So, I filed them down, and now it is perfect for $400.00.
Yes nice guitar with all those specs. I have an SX brand T style guitar here in Australia which has the belly cut and the arm contour, and I love that guitar, and it is not an expensive guitar either
I'm thinking I might settle for one of these instead of the Charvel So-Cal Tele. It's got that roasted neck and split pickups that I like about the Charvel. And it doesn't cost a grand.
Max, please review the "MUSI Virgo Fusion" HH Tele sparkle guitar from Amazon? Similar specs, HH config, roasted maple neck, stainless frets, locking tuners. comparable to EART but know nothing about the brand. Thanks!
I just ordered the shell pink guitar. I actually chose this over the Charvel variation because I can't stand the half pick guard thing of the old Tele style. Had charve not put that on there this is not apost I am making. But I found this Eart trying to do a search on a more modern style take and I found this video. I also found another guitar that was pretty sweet and on par but it had too much glitter in it! lol That is the Musi fusion Virgo. They say it is just as sweet to play. You should check it out! Anyway, I agree with your sentiments on this guitar and I have a feeling I will be gravitating to it to. It has all the mojo of my Charvels that I love so much and was an easy choice. Thank you for your time putting this video review together. It helps!
Would love to see a comparison of the Eart T-380 to the M Musi Virgo Fusion. Would also like to see more colors in the M Musi. It would be great if they offered hardtail versions of these hot rodded Charvel style teles as well.
Looks like they hit every spec I would have chose. To be picky I would have flipped head stock tuners down. love the color, looks great and Mahogany / Humbucker is the only way to get the rich sound. The details of the neck/fretboard shap and cutaways A+++.... Thanks for showing this one.
Max, You never cease to amaze me with your incredible guitar 🎸 capabilities. I don't know how your not touring with a huge name brand band. Your ability blows me away. You are a 80s metal beast axe man.
This guitar gives way more than any other manufacturer for a lot less coin! That doesnt mean its not as good as fender, charvel, ltd, schecter etc. To break into the market you have to offer a lot more than the competition.
Who could ever like that headstock? A Firefly FFTL brings a countour body, roasted maple neck, locking tuners, bone nut, SS frets, and acts like a Tele with the right single coil pups. And, the right (as of recent) headstock. Though they dont stay in stock long. I got mine. Humbuckers on a Tele? Well, if that floats your boat, so be it. Enjoy!
This looks like a guitar that I've seen sold in the southeast Asia area from a company called Soloking. They have almost the exact guitar called the MT-1 , its really reasonably priced and has a bunch of boutique features.
Speaking of superteles , what was that esp Tele that izzy played in the sweet child o mine video??? Only ever saw that one in that video and never saw one anywhere else? Was it a one off? A prototype? I always wondered about that

You are totally on point with this video. Eart guitars are the new thing and Teles are everywhere. I love John5 and his Telecasters.

Nice playing as usual. I forwarded this video to my Grandson for his consideration. Very impressed with their instruments.

It's amazing how much better the Tele shape looks without the pickguard
Most guitars look better without a pickguard, even acoustics. There are some rare exceptions, but I'm speaking in terms of sweeping generalization.
I just want to take the time to say I am a huge fan of your channel. You give the best reviews on the latest gear, thank you for all you do.
I appreciate that!
So I bought this exact model in green a couple months ago. Ironically, in the same fashion, I never really liked the typical tele setup. But this one is amazing. And I absolutely love it.
Thanks for the report!
I’ve been on a Tele binge for the past 2 years. Totally nuts.

Guitar Maxx, are you aware of this???🤔
This is usually a scam & since there was no contact information provided, I am sure that, Guitar Maxx is not aware this is going on also.😮
The spec on this thing is insane even compared to my pro series king v. I'm glad companies like this are making more affordable guitar for everyone
I'm buying one, based solely on this description!
@@todd-1 Awesome! Yeah I have the black satin hard tail. Called the Pro-Mod So Cal Style 2. Has a Tusq XL nut too. and locking tuners. Oh and a shred-fast neck. Not trying to take people away from this video though.
@@matthewearl9824 How much?
I have the Robin's egg blue with the string-thru, it's a beast. I definitely want to get the black ash model with the trem next.
@@Gene_Cali $999 usd
I will admit it is probably the best looking Tele inspired guitar I have seen
I bought the Harley Benton two humbucker bound body Tele type guitar you tested a couple of years ago. I love it!
Not only does the guitar look and sound great, but your playing sounds fantastic as well... Thanks for the demo.
My favourite T style guitar I own is my Godin Radium. No trem but has a HSH layout with coil splitting and a 24.75” scale length with 3+3 headstock.
On my list for sure
Sounds great, Thanks Max !
Thanks for testing this nice guitar. Love from Sweden 💕🇸🇪
I seen this video love the reviews you do guitar maxx u are the reason I got an eart telecaster the set up out of the box was great I didn’t have to do nothing to it except tune it thanks you
Sweet! Guitar Workshop in Oslo Norway specialized in Super-Teles in the 1980s before focusing on ESP and Tom Anderson in the 90s
This one seems lovely. I have one incoming. Think I’ll change the pickups though.
Another great review! Now I want one! Thanks Max!
You got some chops you didn't have when I started watching you a few years back 👏👏🏆 & that is a badass-sounding guitar ⚡🔌🎸🔉🔊
I appreciate that!
I have EART's top model, the Eat-1 not many vids of that model, I bought it at a risk, cost me 600 new, now they are 900 absolutley my favorite guitar and I have Gibsons etc, they don't get played anymore, killer necks for sure, great playing by the way.
Is that the strat style one with the rail pickups?
yes mine was perfect, best neck I've ever played and the sounds is amazing, had just bought the Charvel Pro Mod pink HSS, AND THIS KILLS IT!!
Love the videos man, you show so many great guitars for a budget. Thanks for all the entertainment and the great info
That guitar is in a class all by itself for real. I want one
I agree with everything you said. I normally hate teles. The comfort cuts are what all guitars should have. It's just missing locking turners.
And jumbo frets !
Comfort cuts do absolutely nothing. Never understood why people cry when a guitar doesn't have them.
@@StackBundle No one is crying if a guitar does not have a comfort cut. Only 1 of my 6 guitars has them. But just like MAX mentioned it just feels good when a guitar has one.
@@StackBundle Does nothing for you, fify
I would gladly pay another $40 bucks for the guitar if it had those , and you know they can do that for cheap
Probably cost them 5 bucks for locking tuner option .
I have owned this guitar for about a month. Its great 👍
The pups sound like Wolfgangs to me. Love Wolf pups. Very cool. Killer burn on the end of the signal.
The tone is amazing.
I'll say it again Max von shred 🤘🎸 always love the videos
That is a seriously awesome guitar. Gotta say: If it sounds that good, I'd never wanna split the pickups!

My Firefly Super Tele(HH w/ 2 point trem) has all of these features at HALF the price. AND a unique silver holographic finish at no extra cost 😁
I love it! But really would love it more with a black pickguard to round out that classic look.
Agreed... BUT! Dude! You have to try the "sort of" new Fender FMTHH
(Flame Maple Top Humbucker Humbucker)
Tele!
9:41 What is that move called? Does it even even have a name? Feel like I've heard Buckethead use it a lot.
That's called a sweep arpeggio!
sounds amazing, great video and i couldn't agree more about this brand and some others you've shared.
The clean with Tremolo made me feel like being in a 70's dream sequence...
I have this guitar, and everything is amazing. But, for me the bullet fret ends were annoying and a little uncomfortable or painful sliding across them. So, I filed them down, and now it is perfect for $400.00.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience my brother! It really means a lot to us wanna be rockers out here!
Ha Ha! Amazing shredding as well!
Yes nice guitar with all those specs. I have an SX brand T style guitar here in Australia which has the belly cut and the arm contour, and I love that guitar, and it is not an expensive guitar either
Loved this video, you are very genuine, Big Thanks, I am gonna try one...
I'm thinking I might settle for one of these instead of the Charvel So-Cal Tele. It's got that roasted neck and split pickups that I like about the Charvel. And it doesn't cost a grand.
Dude. DO IT! I own 2 Charvels and bought this exact Tele last yr and it RULES
Great review! I just ordered one in the Honey Burst finish. I also just subscribed. :)
Now that used Squier John 5 teles are going for over $700 on eBay and Reverb this looks like the best and possibly superior alternative. Thanks!
I’ve have a Harley Benton like that for four years. It’s got a push pole for splits. But I always forget it
Looks like they hit every spec I would have chose. To be picky I would have flipped head stock tuners down. love the color, looks great and Mahogany / Humbucker is the only way to get the rich sound. The details of the neck/fretboard shap and cutaways A+++.... Thanks for showing this one.
Max,
You never cease to amaze me with your incredible guitar 🎸 capabilities. I don't know how your not touring with a huge name brand band. Your ability blows me away. You are a 80s metal beast axe man.
Thanks!
Think I might try one looks & sounds great!
I love my Eart . Sounds amazing and the neck is second to none. It’s a rocker !11
This guitar gives way more than any other manufacturer for a lot less coin! That doesnt mean its not as good as fender, charvel, ltd, schecter etc. To break into the market you have to offer a lot more than the competition.
Last year I got the regular flame top eart tele. Same thing, I love it. Considering an eart super strat. Keep on rocking.👍👍✌️
Great review and guitar 😁
Who could ever like that headstock? A Firefly FFTL brings a countour body, roasted maple neck, locking tuners, bone nut, SS frets, and acts like a Tele with the right single coil pups. And, the right (as of recent) headstock. Though they dont stay in stock long. I got mine. Humbuckers on a Tele? Well, if that floats your boat, so be it. Enjoy!
I have a JA 90 ...tele with P90s... it works for me ....thanks Max
Those pickups sound fantastic man! Punching way above their weight class.
I bought ones of these in blue...needed minor tweaks, but an overall good guitar for the money....good review ;)
This looks like a guitar that I've seen sold in the southeast Asia area from a company called Soloking. They have almost the exact guitar called the MT-1 , its really reasonably priced and has a bunch of boutique features.
Great sounding AX! What a deal!
Speaking of superteles , what was that esp Tele that izzy played in the sweet child o mine video??? Only ever saw that one in that video and never saw one anywhere else? Was it a one off? A prototype?
I always wondered about that
