Now that I've tried this recipe, the powdered dole soft serve mix, and the plain canned pineapple sorbet in the creami, I can confirm this one has by far the best flavor.
@@foxfire1112 You may have to decrease or increase the seconds depending on how powerful your microwave is. Also, don't put the top part of the container in the microwave, because it has the metal blade.
Thank you for sharing!! Looks delicious. I’m waiting for my ninja creami to get delivered. I’m going to use your recipes. Also, your fridge is SO CLEAN and organized 😅 makes me want to reevaluate mine right about now lol!
LOL. Thanks! It's a super fun machine. I think you're gonna like it. I HAVE to keep the fridge clean, otherwise, I'll hear about it from the RUclips Karens. haha!
How is the lite icecream setting different than the ice cream setting. I get that you use it when you’re not using sugar, but how is the mechanics different?
It's a little bit of a time difference and I think the rotational speed might be a little higher. I'm trying to test it with a tachometer to verify that though.
If we spin in and refreeze it does it then scoop from a container like a store bought ice cream? I’m pondering how to prepare in advance & then transport it for a 75 minute ride in a cooler for dessert at a family gathering. Thank you!
If you refreeze it after you spin, it will be a lot harder than store bought stuff since it doesn't have the other additives that keep it scoopable... But the spun stuff will probably loosen up enough during transport to be scoopable whne you get there. I'd try experimenting and putting it in the same container you're bringing to keep it cold, waiting about 45 mins and seeig how soft it gets.
Very true... I did this more like pineapple flavored vanilla ice cream, but if we wanted to go dairy free, we could just use so red mills egg replacer for the eggs, drop the half and half, and switch out the carbmaster milk with some full fat oatmilk, and it should come out about the same.
Are you trying to stay lactose free, or low calorie/fat or anything like that? Oatmilk and vanilla almond milk work really well in there, too. You could always just use some 2% milk or whole milk if that stuff isn't as important to you, as well.
I used 1 tbsp. in there... Seems excessive, but I like a pretty strong vanilla flavor... Definitely you can scale that back to a tsp and it might be better for a pot of people... I'm like that with pepper and garlic, too.... I take after Emeril Laggasse in that respect... BAM!
Lol.. We've All done that. You can add extra sweetness.. Or you can thin it out with more of the milk part. If you're doing it after the fact, you'd have to refreeze it and reprocess it though.
It's the amount in the recipe. I didn't use as much in the video though. I modified the recipe a little bit off camera to make sure the consistency was right. Also, in the video, the portion size was a little too small... That's why the written recipe seems like so much more. It's all the same ratios though.
Thanks so much. I made it but ended up with two full deluxe containers so didn’t think I had done it right. Really appreciate your quick response! Bought the creami deluxe after watching your excellent videos!
3/4 cups is one serving. The recipe makes 4 servings though. The Creami Deluxe has a max capacity of 3 cups, so that's how that ended up coming out that way... You could always do 1/2 cup servings and get 6 total though... But if you're like me, then you get 1 big serving that nobody else ever finds out about.

Thanks Savannah! 😀
I microwave the container for 5 seconds before putting it in my Ninja Creami, it comes out perfect and no need to respin.
Hey! Great idea!
Oh im gonna try this

Looks delicious Joe! What a yummy treat! 😋
Thanks, Suzie!
Just made my first batch with strawberries and pineapples.
Starberries are so good in that.... Or anything really.
Just got one of these on HSN after seeing this video, today's special apparently, good timing! Can't wait to make dole whip 🤤
Omg... You'll love it. It's one of my favorites now.
Recipe sounds great! Cringing at the metal whisk in the non-stick pan though! can't help it. LOL
I know! It was making my teeth feel funny when I was doing it.... Need to pick up a Teflon one for making videos!
I got refurbished one a couple of days ago and have done many flavours
You can get great deals on those renewed ones! Works the same.. save the money! You're a smart cookie.
Monkfruit is one of my non sugary sweeteners!
Yeah.. I love that stuff. It's my favorite sugar sub.

Dole whip is originally dairy free. You’ve just added back the dairy so it’s naturally going to be creamy and likely taste better to many people.

True, but the whole point is to be low calorie.
Does that recipe make one pint? Looks great
Thanks, Rebecca! We made this in the Creami Deluxe, so I made the recipe for 3 cups.... so 1.5 pints?
Thanks. Just bought my Creami this afternoon 😂😂😂
Exciting!
We don’t have Kroger’s here. What can I use instead of the Kroger carb milk?

@JoesPhenomenal thank you!! I added some simple syrup, and milk came out delicious! You're the best, thanks again!!
@the_collectors_lair5866 awesome! Thanks!
Make some more please!
Always!
So the entire recipe is about 600 calories and only 28 grams protein?
Yep... Not too terrible huh?
How much carbmaster milk? Your recipe lists 1 1/2 cups but it appears you only used 1/2 cup?
