A second comment… Rae does not owe anyone an explanation of how she spends her time. Her husband..her kids and her animals are clean and healthy.. also all are fed three times a day ( and more ). Her temporary home is clean. Her kids are happy. In my books she is on top of it all so the whiners just need mind their business.
Rae, here's tip for you. Go to Grandma Doss's house and open every cupboard and draw and make a list of everything she has. Kitchen, laundry, bathroom, bedrooms, and lounge and bedrooms. Then go shopping. Chad you could do the same in your dad's garage. 14 days to go, cutlery, crockery, glassware, plastics, utensils, mixing bowls, cooking pots, laundry baskets, brooms, buckets, mops,. Pens, writing pads, dish cloths, tea towels, shower towels, bath mats, picture hooks. Good luck ❤😊

Rae is taking the time that she needs. I know she's been crazy busy behind the scenes with new puppies-creating new nesting for the new nest-chasing the boys and trying to make sure that everybody else is fine and ok. If she's not ok to be at the old place that's perfectly ok. Yes I miss seeing her. On her own channel but it will come when she's ready. People need to understand that there are some things that we don't get to know or need to know. Everybody deserves their own space and time. More praying and less judging that's what everybody needs. Just saying.

The tail looks funny on all goats when they are ready. The ligaments soften which causes the tail to lay over. You know birth is near when you can't feel ligaments

had a home fire - what a mess! never worked so hard to restore and replace, insurance were JERKS! so, totally understand the emotional impacts and added several preventive actions to try and prevent measures. In fact, I put out the fire myself much to the amazement of the firemen. It happened right after I lost my granfather and needed a kidney surgery. I paid for the repairs and did most of the structure cleaning as the contracters did a terrible job. It was a terrible event with the worst timing. No husband either but had children. Sometimes, if its got to be its up to me - its the mantra. so NO Crying Allowed. Cry later when the work is over and PRAY, Pray, Pray!
Live in the country and have animals, as well. Never have animals that were purchased without a humble abode for them. It is always the very 1st consideration. Yes, they are cute but they need shelter. Was hopeful when this land was purchased, the family growth, etc... Hope the new place does well. But really don't like animals left outside with no shelter from the elements. seems like a series of rushed choices without thinking things through. So truly understand the situations but success comes when one prioritizes.
Truly Hoping Chad "slows down" at the new place and takes the time to prioritize things to build a lasting legacy for everyone. Sometimes experience can be a tough teacher but an effective lesson learned.

Every one of Chad's animals has access to shelter, even though half of them prefer to be out in the woods when the weather is too hot or too cold - like the days when he was running a chain saw, and the entire herd of cows would run Towards the sound in search of the tasty treats from the severed branches - what farmer do you know that provides tree branches for his cows to browse? But they loved it. With Chad having so many trees in the new place, I'm hoping to see them exploring and enjoying browsing all sorts, just as their ancesters would have done
Meanwhile - my sympathy to you over the fire that you had, and all the work it entailed - Chad has been lucky with his insurers, for sure - being a single mom definitely isnt for sissies!
Ray has a career. Chad's career is farming. They have a fantastic meet in the middle with the love of animals. To be fair, what happens in their relationship and their agreements has NOTHING to do with us, the viewers. It is really okay to want to see Ray's beautiful face tho.

On behalf of the goat’s behind looking funny… goats tails will turn down before she gives birth… the hind end ligaments will loosen to allow for the baby goats to pass through easily… but I agree Oreo looks smaller… maybe she did lose them? I love the goats you kept!! You keep what you want. I love the fact you know what you need. Stay true to your heart on what you believe is right for you and the farm!!

Hey Rae, and Chad, FYI, we have a sleep number bed, great bed. If your looking at beds. My husband, and I recommend you both try it out in the showroom before making a purchase if this is what your interested in for a bed (because it is different). The bed gets set to your body independently. The head, and feet can move separately or together. You can adjust each side separately for firmness/softness (air pressure). We opted for the split king this way each person can raise the head/feet. The disadvantage with split king, the separation line in the middle (someone sleeps in the crack if you wish to cuddle). Another advantage for additional cost....you can have cool air blowing on your side of the bed throughout the night. You can also have the option of heat around your feet. We didn't purchase those options. We've had this bed approximately 4 years and have no regrets. This bed has made a difference with our sleep. My husband is a disabled Veteran, this bed helps him get a good night sleep. Good luck shopping!

Rae is traumatized over the fire, losing her babies. She is also dealing with her mom, taking care of the boys and you. Not mention the stress over the new place. I pray for her everyday. Her anxiety and yours have been extremely high. She needs to take all the she needs before restarting her channel and helping with farm chores.

I told Case and Rae there was no need to go to the farm after the fire. Rae went when it was dark to check on the pigs. Couldn’t see the burnt cabin as well at that time. After the pigs left she comes out anytime I ask and to see Izzy but stays away from the “mess”. While it was just a cabin it was our home.
With that said you should see the smile on her face when talks about the new home 😉.

Sleep Number bed!!! I highly recommend them. Had mine for about ten years and love it. I have back problems and this is the first mattress I can sleep through the night on. Used to wake up around 3 in the morning with my back hurting so bad I'd go sleep in the recliner. My ex liked a firmer mattress so it was ideal, we could custom fit to our individual liking/comfort. So happy for you guys, can't wait for you to move in. God bless.

We finally close on our house, Monday, but then the painting, and some renovating begins...so maybe three weeks we can move in? It will happen.

My heart goes out to you both as you start to organize your new place. When we moved last time, I marked all the boxes by location of contents in our old home. Even noting right down to shelves and drawers on each room. It made things so much easier on those first mornings. However, your possessions were so gone that that is not really possible. Whoa, that makes it all even a bigger challenge. I know you will figure it all out in time and will laugh about it later, just as we have (somewhere we still have some box with our boxed up cuckoo clock abiding in its contents). It's going to be an awesome move for you, the kids and the creatures!

I love watching Chad with the animals. I got a real good laugh at that pig running to Chad and he went and got her food out of the trough and I laughed out loud when she sniffed it and took off to the cow trough! I don’t know what is going on about Rae but being a wife, mother, cook and just keeping up with kids and a husband is hard work… We have a house with a door code too and when we bought it a few years ago we never got a key either! We changed the code after moving in and I feel safer knowing that only us know that code. Anyway, Blessings 😊

Chad .. people are downright rude these days. Ain't nobody's dad gum business how or who handles your farm life. Rae has been traumatized enough already. She is a sweet and gentle soul. Raising children and tending a household full of menfolk and house chores is complex at times. Now preparing a new home that's work too. Folks just needs be tending to their own chickens .
The boys and I literally clean nothing except for small messes we make when eating. She keeps us all in line which is no small task. I’m one of three boys. I’m well aware what we put my mom through 😂

I know what three boys are like, I had two sets of twins. The first set were boys and the second set were one of each plus one singleton between both sets of twins. So it turned out to be two pair and a spare. Three boys and two girls, and I think I had more fun with the boys than the girls. The girls were quite demanding at times and the boys were very easy going and loved pranks. So I understand your point of view and I love your family or I should say I love the Doss families period.
