By the looks of these comments, my opinion is not going to be popular. I don't like the new design. I currently own a 22x3 M40i, and I think it looks much better than this new version. Also, why remove the red interior option? So many questions!
I have sooooo many questions to this new x3. I have a 23 x3M50. No ambient lighting in the rear, no retractable pano roof, the materials looks cheap, the fabric dash is a fool , no red interior, cheap plastics. I’m not upgrading to this trash.
What’s controversial about quad pipes? It’s the only thing they did right in my opinion… they could have very easily did 2 hexagonal fake pipes made out of plastic and had a muffler hidden deep behind them. That would have been controversial.
I did not find information about the possibility of acoustic glazing. Is this included as standard or is it not available to order? If this is standard, is it only for front windows or for all?
Thank you for the quick overview. In you're opinion are the interior plastic parts, and interior in general feels as premium as the 2024 model, less or more?
The fabric covering on the mega dashboard is impractical. Over time, dust will accumulate and become embedded in it. Moreover, it is still essentially plastic!
looks like BMW hired a bunch of 15 years old with some mediocre skills drawing on their iPads, but not real knowledge about materials and their characteristics
You said up to 22 inch wheels. The configurator for the UK and USA only shows it goes up to 21 inch. I’ve been conflicted because I see on the camo videos what looks to be a 22 inch black wheel set.
No regrets with my wife having bought a 2023 CPO M40i in May. The M50 will drive better for sure but we don't intend to track the M40i anyway and we did get one with M Sport Differential.
Interesting... With the M50 where is there a need for X3M particularly where the price is touching on the X5 M60. Guess time will determine it's success but seems to me BMW is basically overlapping much of their vehicles in price, design and performance.
Looks good. Very Baby XM. The side profile is bitching. ❤ I have an X5MC and an M550 so I prefer the 5s since they're bigger; however, this looks good. That color is sexy.
I was planning on buying this but changed my decision after the reveal. Car looks controversial to say the least on the outside, cheap looking on the inside and is still less practical than it's competitors. Not sure what BMW is going for with this, X1 looks way better for less money.
Please liase with BMW to get the physical buttons back on the steering wheel. More control of the most used things by an user. Can they not invent something as that you can program buttons with what you find interesting to have quick acces to instead these touch screens not very good if you are riding. Also get rid of the plastic for such expensive car you only must have high end material.
Dreadful decision on the sunroof. The interior tacky lighting looks horrific. Not sure about the knitted dashboard either. Did bmw get the idea for that from those knitted postbox toppers? Much prefer my X3 m40i with the opening sunroof and the subtle interior lighting. Really dont like it but will have to see it in the flesh as it were before deciding if the next car is an X3 or X5.
I currently have a 2023 x3, and definitely my next vehicle will not be this 2025 x3. Ugly design exterior and weird interior with that much LED. I enjoy my current BMW, and next one probably a Porsche.
i just hate the front end and profile so much. i really hope x3m fixes the front end at least. the "monolith" design language comes across as lazy, uninspired garbage. the headlights are ugly and lack aggressiveness. the interior looks so cheap, particularly the steering wheel. they got rid of the stitched leather airbag cover and i can't believe how cheap it looks without it. the noon marker is ridiculous. rear end is great. quad pipes on a soft M shouldn't be a thing. it's just so wrong. i am looking to trade in my G87 for an x3m and was waiting for this. i'd be happy to buy a 2024 x3m but i can't go back to idrive 7 after using 8. feels like a big step back. RIP BMW
@@bmwblog what?! I knew X4m was being discontinued but did not know about x3m. That is disgraceful. I'm going seriously consider a Macan S if that's really the case.
Where’s the 2025 X3M?? Regardless, NEVER buy a first year new gen anything. Wait for the flaws and bugs to be worked out first and check back in 2 years 👍🏻
Interior so cheapened compared to the previous model .. Looks plasticy crap.. All aluminium details removed. On an upgrade I will go for X5, where Interior kept to a high standards
the door handles are so awkward positioned... they should learn some ergonomis from the Maserati Grecale regarding door handles position wich in my opinion is the most ergonomic way to design a car door opening sistem in the industry....
The new X3 M50 shows on the USA configurator that it comes with a sunroof that opens! I hope that's true. A non-opening sunroof on a luxury SUV is a joke and a completely stupid and cheap decision by BMW. Why is he doing this video? He already did a much better video about the premiere of the 2025 X3 a couple of weeks ago. This video is pointless and I didn't learn anything new.
And what was there to learn new? This is a video premiere from Goodwood. Not everyone sees the initial video. As you can see, there is no clickbait title. Pretty straightforward so people can't decide if they wanna watch or not. Again, not everyone sees the content the first time around. Especially when you have an emabargo that expires and 100 videos go live at once.
BMW has moved on and continues to climb the Tier One Automotive Engineering along with their world topping Rolls Royce Tier One Luxury Yacht on wheels! All the haters are falling by the wayside and still wanting to see the old style models be made. It’s not going to happen! BMW is a top tier Technology Automaker and chasing the likes of Porsche in terms of performance only. They are the king of the worlds top luxury automobile, via Rolls Royce! Get over it! 😆
Why is Hyundai making better looking SUv’s than BMW? Something is grossly wrong over there at BMW. Everyone hyped up the new M5 and this is that exact same body language in my opinion, if you hype something that doesn’t deserve it bmw is going to take that as validation and do it to every car in the lineup.. then we get this uninspired bullshit x3 M50
By the looks of these comments, my opinion is not going to be popular. I don't like the new design. I currently own a 22x3 M40i, and I think it looks much better than this new version. Also, why remove the red interior option? So many questions!

Completely agree with you.
I love the design. It's fresh and simplict
Nice X3!! I have ordered the car in deep frozen grey, can't wait to get em in November 🎉
Have fun!
What’s controversial about quad pipes? It’s the only thing they did right in my opinion… they could have very easily did 2 hexagonal fake pipes made out of plastic and had a muffler hidden deep behind them. That would have been controversial.
They were a staple BMW M design cue
Just missing some rainbow sticker on the hood. But BMW; thanks, you increased the value of our old models!
Very very nice 👍🏽
I could grow to like the exterior. But that interior... Love the little touches like plastic door handles on a vehicle that starts at $79,600.
$71K in the US.
the "jewlery box" lmao
Heated and cooled seats??
I did not find information about the possibility of acoustic glazing. Is this included as standard or is it not available to order? If this is standard, is it only for front windows or for all?
We can ask. Didn't think about that option
I Love it
Thank you for the quick overview. In you're opinion are the interior plastic parts, and interior in general feels as premium as the 2024 model, less or more?
Tough one. Some parts are premium, others not so much.
If you combine the left and right tail lights, it will become an X, a trademark to the BMW X series
Sempre bella l'X3.
How is the Dune Grey live? Would You recommend it?
It reminds of chalk. I'm the wrong guy to ask: I like flashy colors :) So depends what you're going for
Looks great❤
Is this the final production version?also the m50 comes with runflats ?
Final version. No runflats
@bmwblog that's some good news. Is the car more spacious than the current model?
The fabric covering on the mega dashboard is impractical. Over time, dust will accumulate and become embedded in it. Moreover, it is still essentially plastic!

It's a wheel from the accessory catalog.
Looks good
Beautiful color. Work of art! 🖼️
Love it.
Are we still getting the X3 Competition?
No
No regrets with my wife having bought a 2023 CPO M40i in May. The M50 will drive better for sure but we don't intend to track the M40i anyway and we did get one with M Sport Differential.
I think this vehicle would be more appealing in a darker color.
Interesting... With the M50 where is there a need for X3M particularly where the price is touching on the X5 M60. Guess time will determine it's success but seems to me BMW is basically overlapping much of their vehicles in price, design and performance.
Not sure. But I wish there was a new X3 M coming
According to rumors, there will be NO next generation X3M.
No red seats as an option in America???
I have not checked
nope. bmw have eliminated red as interior color option for 2025 x3. huge mistake imo.
Quad pipes, but no option for M Sport seats, nor leather dash...
Pushing the customers to get the X5... 😮
A point I noticed previously, I dont there is the usual M badge on each door entry. Is this right or maybe this is only a pre production car?
US markets don't get the M badge on the side.
Boo
The new design of these BMWs are just NO!
Looks good. Very Baby XM. The side profile is bitching. ❤ I have an X5MC and an M550 so I prefer the 5s since they're bigger; however, this looks good. That color is sexy.
Dune Grey is a cool color
The sunroof
now doesn’t even open yet they still charge a fortune for it. Trust me if you like sunroofs don’t bother as it’s rubbish ( I have an i5 )
Wow awesome Amazing wonderfull, fabulous nice car ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉👍👍👍💯💯💯😱😱😱🔥🔥🔥🦾🦾🦾🦾🦾

No ev model forget this
Glad a bought a 24 and didn’t wait for whatever this is
Exterior is good but interior looks very cheap. Even X1 looks more expensive
you cant say that until you see it in real life..
It is more premium than the X1

As the majority of reviewers have stated, not a good looking car at all on both exterior and interior. What is going on with BMW?
bmw accountants ruined the new x3 with all the cost cutting. cheap nasty plastic interior to compete with honda rental cars.
Let the Bmw concern do other things!!! The Bmw concern has forgotten how to produce beautiful, aggressive cars. 👎🏿
They took a pretty good looking small SUV and made it ugly as hell, just like the 5 series
I agree with you … they excelled at simplicity so much it looks boring.
The hood character lines were iconic. Not sure about this.
It’s like where are the characters lines going? They’re lost in the sauce. The lines have no home! I love my 23 x3M40. I will NOT be getting this car
top half of the tail gate looks like an ugly brain tumor

I wish there was a panoramic roof also

There is no X3 M.
@@bmwblog what?! I knew X4m was being discontinued but did not know about x3m. That is disgraceful. I'm going seriously consider a Macan S if that's really the case.
Horrible for such an expensive car to be all plastic
Design freak👎🏿
RIP X3M
Never heard of a rockerpanel described as aggressive.😊
Obnoxious then? :)) it really sticks out a lot.
Its so overpowering 🙃
so disappointed in bmw for making the x3 ugly
Looks good to me
Not surprised since the 5 series and 7 series went with blob style design
That interior just looks so incredibly cheap
it doesn't just look cheap, it is. nasty cheap ugly plastics instead of nice materials.
Where’s the 2025 X3M??
Regardless, NEVER buy a first year new gen anything. Wait for the flaws and bugs to be worked out first and check back in 2 years 👍🏻
There isn't one coming
No Openable Sunroof, Cheap Plastic Interiors, No Engine Insulation, No Gear Lever, NO THANKS BMW.
Naah, sticking to older models
It is a huge disappointed... how can they make it worse than before..
blame bmw accountants. 2025 x3, pay more for less.
Interior so cheapened compared to the previous model ..

They are a bit weird, gotta say
Ewwww...are we all seing the same car here? SO ugly
No buttons = pure cost cutting and back door way to force people to pay for subscriptions for things
Iike heated seats
People need to boycott BMW
looks ugly, especially the back
This is horrible compared to the M40i. I think it’s ugly. Why do car companies do shit like this?? They need to fire their entire design team.

Its a single pane of glass from what i remember. i am pretty sure it'll be a fixed roof unfortunately.
It is not opening. I asked in a previous video

@@bmwblog Thanks for that response - you're fabulous!!! 😘
Not sure about fabulous 😂
Less body work on the lines means less money spent and more money made, simple as. Now for 80,000 you can have a bmw that looks like a Toyota. 👎
looks very cheap and chineese. ikea led tape across entire cockpit....whaaaaat?
Ew
