I don’t worship any preacher as they are but flesh and not immune to sin or error. That said, I have now been deeply hurt and disappointed by 4 pastors whom I admired and respected. I have not yet found a new church, but my hope is in the Lord. He will assist me in finding a new church home. I realize the need to be part of Jesus’ church.
Jesus is coming back. The real Christians need to be stronger than ever.

Thank you for this video. My son and his wife have been raising my 4 grandchildren at Gateway in North Richland Hills, Texas. My ex husband has also attended that church after our divorce. My ex-husband and son both pushed me out of their lives. My daughter grew up and left Gateway on her own. I never felt the Holy Spirit there. I did go for each of my grandchildren's baby dedications. Please pray for my son and my ex-husband. They both have a Spirit of pride and love of mammon. I miss my son, haven't seen him or my 4 grandchildren since Christmas of 2019. I don't even get phone calls or pictures of my grandchildren. I've been praying for years for restoration and reconciliation. Please pray in agreement with me. I appreciate your heart felt passion in this situation. I attended Gatway from 2012 to 2018 and volunteered in many capacities. When I saw how it was run as a BIG BUSINESS and my voice of how the elites were placed on a pedistle while those who were faithful were pushed to the side, it was time to go. This occurred in almost every church I have attended. I too was sexually abused but by a family member and charges were never brought against the abuser (my parents decision to protect me). After GW, I'm involved with a few ladies who also stepped away from GW for much of the same reason. We meet in our homes and worship together and I absolutely love this setting and will never step back into any organized 501C3 church again. My abuser was never brought to justice and went on to hurt and abuse other family members. We survivors have to deal with the memories and hurt for a life time but my Jesus is the best friend I have. I don't have to "go to church" to have that relationship. My tithes go to helping others in need and not build more church buildings. I can see why Cindy is not involved in any one Church. Seems she has Jesus in the right place .... her heart and in her life. Church hurt will push people away from attending the brick and mortar establishment of manipulation from wrong theology.

No excuse for either sin. The problem is that neither of them stepped completely away from leadership in ministry. The New Testament section of the Bible is clear - leaders must be free from reproach, a husband to only one woman (that includes sexually, not just marriage), etc. If ministry leaders sin as stated, they should remove themselves or be removed completely from leadership forever. If they continue to sin, the New Testament also says they should be removed from the Church and given over to satan until they truly repent and stop sinning.

AND he should never be able to be behind the pulpit again because leaders are held to a higher standard. They are to be without reproach. What does God say about hurting his children? This was not a young lady who gave consent, she was a child. David is that perfect example. He confessed his sin and wholeheartedly accepted his consequences which were severe. Not true. He and her father came to an agreement he needed help. After 2 years of counseling, Robert came back to the dad and her, received forgiveness and then went back into ministry. Robert is also a victim of child abuse. He finally got the help he needed. This should have been squashed back then.
Let me point out, she only told her high school friend about him when he stopped seeing her. She was hurt and angry when she decided to discuss this with someone else. She had 4 and a half years to say something and she DIDN'T...not until he left her be. What was she doing while he was getting treatment... nothing but going about her life...then he started getting famous. So now she is traumatized? Because he's on TV, etc. So now she decides to go to therapy...and then asks him to pay for it...after she's done with it. He said no (she asked for $50K). Later, she asked him for $2million or she would tell, he said no. This is about REVENGE. He left her be, she told daddy. She wanted money, he said no, she told the public....she is a scorned, gold digging woman.
Listen, I was molested by a family member when I was around 4-5. RIGHT AFTER he left the room, I got up and told. I was 4 and knew to say something. She was 12 and never said a word until 4 1/2 years later to her friend and dad and 42 years later after the whole thing began and after he wouldn't pay her blackmail money.

Although I tend to like your videos for a well balanced, Spirit-filled perspective, you completely lost me when you said "we have to repent for them." Though we stand in the gap, praying for sinners' restoration, their repentance is based upon thier own heart, and the relationship they have to God.
Our intercession is heard by God, and his Spirit prompts the sinner to repent, but at no juncture can our prayers cover the sin of others. That is only accomplished by the blood of the Lamb and by the sinner being willing to paint that blood on the doorposts of thier heart so that God's judgment is put aside and the restorive work of his Spirit may begin.

I agree that bothered me too when he said that we can repent for others. That's not right it doesn't work that way. We can pray for that person that the holy Spirit will convict their hearts to lead them to proper repentance but we cannot repent for someone else

But he sinned after the blood of Jesus; and how we know if he repented, the blood of Jesus does not mean that we can continue sinning after meeting Jesus; when we meet Jesus and repent of all our sins we have to stay away from sin that was what Jesus said to the adulterer woman, stay away from sin , sin no more.

Jesus told the woman caught in adultery to go and sin no more because at that time she was still under the curse of the law and the sins of the world had not been reconciled between man and God. If caught again the pharisees could legally kill her by stoning. When Jesus died on the cross His blood paid for the entire sin debt, every sin committed against God from Adam till now paid in full, but this did not give us the ability to stop sinning. As long as we live in a body of flesh we will continue to struggle with sin. Even the apostle Paul said I do the things I know I shouldn't do and not the things that I know I should. If it was possible to stop sinning one would think that Paul, a pharisee at heart who knew the law better than most would have been that someone, but he couldn't. If any man or woman says they can God calls them a liar.

I attended Gateway church for about 5 years but was turned off by the commercialism of the church. I also started doubting Robert Morris was worshipping God wholeheartedly when he said God had told him God chose his 2nd son for ministry but Robert Morris kept pushing his first son into ministry as Pastor. Robert Morris went as far as to open 3 different churches for him which failed dismally. It was clear his first son is not called to preach. I thought to myself if he can directly disobey a word from God which he preached God told him then what else wont he do. I think in the Cindy allegations everyone in the situation failed her. Her parents failed her by covering it up, they claimed they went to other church leaders but never made a report to the police. Robert & his wife failed her, as a woman Debbie Morris should have done more but she was too busy protecting her family. However her and her husband covering up this crime & sin was evident in his daughters life. I could not understand why Robert Morris daughter lived such a promiscuous life before she was married but now I do her father opened that door to satan by abusing this 12 year old girl so of course other men defiled his daughter. If he had told the whole truth at the time and truly repented his daughter wouldnt have had the life she had before getting married and unless the Morris family come out with the whole truth, repent and make restitution then the family will continue to have sexual sin in the family. I was chased out of my church, here in South Africa, a very large church with many campuses. The elders disregarded me when I brought this to their attention. I was unfriended from social media and the only call I got was from a deacon who did not even take the time to read my full post which I made on Facebook. One other pastor was present and he never responded to me, no matter how many times, I approached him. I was completely shunned by the congregants as well, some whom I thought were my friends. Yes I was in a bad place but I needed my spiritual home and they tossed me out. I called for the meeting because I was a broken person but I was judged on so many levels.
the Church belongs to Christ, it's made up of sinners , including the Pastor and when he called me a sinner, I told him he is one as well & this is when I got told to get out and told never to return. The pastor got up and opened the room door for me, and yelled at me to get out. I walked out, broken even further and have never been able to sit as a member under anyone's ministry since, but I have become closer to Jesus since, thank goodness. All this propelled me to look at myself and make changes, I forgave but sadly this church failed me.
I grew in my space that I created for myself, I cried out to Father and 6 years later, here I am...
I am sold out for Christ, I pray, worship, study the word. I have a team and we go out doing deliverance. I have a soft spot for the broken souls of the world whom are shunned because of class n money. People need love, not judgements from mere man.
I am under the leadership of a Pastor and his family whom I take all things to, only I cannot visit the church , because of the distance.

None of us know all of the details in this matter because RM lied/hid details. According to the victim's statements, RM lied or hid details about her being only 12 years old, about the abuse lasting for about 4 1/2 years, about her father NOT excusing him & NOT being okay with RM returning to ministry, etc. If you've never been sexually abused as a child by a ministry leader, you/we have no idea the emotional/spiritual trauma it caused and if she was seeking some sort of damages because criminally the statutes of limitations had run out, that is for them, the courts & GOD to decide, not you/us. It's a tragic situation and only through GOD can true healing come, but there are consequences to sin, especially when a ministry leader continues to deceive the flock.

The Bible does not say “unless you tell the whole world all the details of your sin, you won’t be forgiven” . Godly, church counselling is free…why wasn’t her church helping her all those years? I agree he sinned big time…someone knew all the details, but once dealt with everyone doesn’t need to know the details. How do you know he hasn’t repented? God has used him mightily to bring many people to Christ, encouraged and inspired millions…you can’t say God didn’t forgive him. Why didn’t she go to the authorities? Even in 2005 the statutes of limitations was not over. Why didn’t her dad get her counselling as soon as he knew? Robert sinned for sure! But there are many questions as to her true motives. I am sad to say the Church is not transparent especially when pastors , elders , preists, nuns & others in leadership in the church do cover up sexual sins. All church leaders must make a declaration before the Holy Spirit to declare that there is no past sexual sins including having extra marital affairs, dishonesty crimes such as theft, must declare this. This situation with Robert Morris brought up old memories for me. I was not sexually abused by a church member or pastor but from a family member. In fact, an uncle that was married to my dad's sister. I was also 12 years old, but my predator was much older being somewhere in his 30's. The years I suffered with this uncle also were near 4-5 years and ended at age 16 when my aunt and uncle got a divorce. I remember the day when they told me like it was yesterday, and I remember thinking this nightmare will finally end. I kept this secret for many years until after my dad passed away and I finally confided with my cousin who was the youngest daughter to this uncle. It really opened up a can of worms but was good because this cousin and her sister just above her had harbored memories of their dad sexually abusing them for many years until I finally opened up and revealed what he had done to me. My other cousin for years had always had problems with men, alcoholic and drugs, and emotionally was a wreck. The youngest cousin I confided in has also had problems with men and is on her 3rd marriage. There was some real healing for me and my cousins the day I told my story. I have forgiven this uncle but this situation with Robert Morris really brought back some old hurts. I was much more emotional than I ever thought I could be, but I guess it's something that will always be a part of me but doesn't have to ruin my life. I hope those that read this who have also suffered sexual, or any abuse will first speak to someone they trust then get some help. I did have some counseling way later in life which helped me forgive this uncle so I plead with those struggling to find someone or a Christian organization that can help you. I am 74 now and quit church about 15 yrs ago because of decades of abuse and rejection. When I moved to this city 8 yrs ago I went to 7 different churches and not one church wanted me, now an old lady, and I gave up. No one wants me. But I do have christians online who chat with me and pray with me. When I was 19 I was rescued off the streets of Toronto by christian family they took me into their home, I was pregnant when they took me to their church the pastpr said you cant bring her here she was on the streets she is pregnant. so they had to just have church at home with me. that was only the beginning of decades of church abuse.
Why did she not report to the elders of the gateways church earlier. If she did who did she speak to? We want to know them. Has she not done this because she was denied the amount she requested for. So if she had been given what she requested for would she have kept silent?

What happened to Cindy is horrific in every way. But I will go out on a limb and say that the fact that she asked for $2 million and was not part of a church body may have played a role in not listening to her/not believing her.
She didn't ask for 2 million. She asked for financial assistance for counseling.

I don't know anything about it, except what Joshua shared. As I mentioned, what happened to her was horrific.

Whatever God commands us to do is for our good and leads to life and eternal rewards. We can trust Him.
We cannot trust ourselves.
It's easy to follow God when everybody is nice and good to us and life is smooth sailing. But will we stay faithful and obedient when the storms are rough and we are going through the floods and we are poor or homeless? Or sick and weak? What if people do us wrong? What if they hurt us or betray us or reject us or slander us? What if they despise and hate us. What if everything goes wrong? Will we still trust and obey Jesus. What if we are rejected?
Will our heart turn bitter and angry and resentful? What will we think and feel and say in our hearts or out loud?
Will we ask Jesus to purify and purge our hearts? Will will yield our will and feelings and rights to Jesus in trust and obedience and submission? Will we ask for wisdom and patience and forgiveness ? Will we ask for a loving and kind heart and compassion and mercy to fill us? Will we pray for and love those who persecute and hurt us? Will we ask for strength and hope and trust? Will we ask for a faithful heart. An honest heart and truth in the inward parts? A clean heart and pure mind?
The desires and works of the flesh all leads to death.
Our flesh wants whatever is bad for us and leads to death. The works of the flesh often feel satisfying or good or justified in the moment; or we demand what we believe are our rights. But it leads to death and destruction.
Our flesh so often seeks to feel good whatever the cost. Drinking, drugs, sex, smoking, porn or other indulges such as food or risk taking.
The flesh often wants to satisfy the lusts of the eyes and greed with mansions, yachts, luxury cars, jewelry and more. This lust and greed is never satisfied and wants more and more.
This often leads to stepping on others, overworking and neglecting family, taking advantage of the underprivileged and less fortunate and neglecting and/or resenting the poor and needy. Of course this also damages the heart and soul leading to death and destruction.
The flesh often wants the gratification of revenge and the satisfaction of grudges and resentment and unforgiveness towards folks that have offended us somehow. Nursing bitterness which can have eternal consequences to the person holding unforgiveness as well as the person their wrath is directed at.
The flesh desires the preeminence and to be the best and strongest, and idolized such as movie stars and celebrity pastors and the highest paid, most sophisticated, richest, looked up to and other things that satisfy the pride and arrogance of the flesh.
Another thing the flesh desires is to be it's own boss and master refusing to submit to law and righteousness; but determining to do whatever it decides is right or in its own best interest to do. But pride leads to destruction and the proud cannot be saved.
We must be humble like a little child.
Trust and obey.
Read the Bible and pray.
David called Saul the Lord's anointed after God used Samuel to tell Saul that God had stripped him of his anointing after disobeying God by not waiting for Samuel to offer the sacrifice. David seemed more like a codependent responding to a narcissist than someone anointed by God. Many people lost their lives at Saul's hand because David did not take him out when he had the chance. It reminds me of what is happening today when elders refuse to hold these fallen pastors accountable even when they may be a threat to others in the church. I, like you, was torn apart about this situation and having been a faithful follower. I was heart broken! However, one of my favorite thoughts is, NO MATTER HOW I GET A MESSAGE (church services in person, radio or tv) GOD WILL SEND THE WORD HE HAS FOR ME THROUGH ANY OF THISE AVENUES. It is my place to expect tat from Him and to go to His Word, to double checking the given message. It helps me to heal by remembering that and that these pastors are still human and do still error. Statements and guilting people into giving because they have listened to your channel is negative, in my opinion. If the ministry or words you share leads to people supporting your ministry, both the giver and the receiver are blessed if the Lord. I say this in love because, for me, it may take longer to have confidence in giving and supporting you and your ministry. It may never happen, for many reasons, but now I feel checked in my spiritual to go forward cautiously.

In many ways, I see a huge mega-church as unbiblical, and the reason why is I say this, is because it says in Proverbs 7:23, " be sure you know the condition of your flocks, give careful attention to your herds;...."
But how can a Pastor know the condition of His flock, (that the Lord gave him)- within the constitution of a huge church! It's not even possible! But if the body/ Church of Christ exalts a man, instead of THE LORD, then I guess this mega church system will continue to happen! 😢
