Stars And Stripes at Mt Rushmore

Mt Rushmore is such an amazing work of art, and feat of engineering! We visited in September of 2020. We spent an 8 hour day there, and could easily have spent another 8 hours just sitting in wonder at the amazing work on the mountain! We visited Crazy Horse the day before, and hope that we'll get to see its completion in our lifetime!
While we were at Mt Rushmore, we just couldn't resist the opportunity to record Ross playing John Philip Sousa's Stars And Stripes Forever with the mountain in the background. We found a quiet spot where we hoped we would not disturb other guests. He gathered quite an appreciative crowd. One man who told us Ross could keep playing that song over and over. It was a neat experience, and we're excited to share it with you!

He did attract a crowd. It took 3 takes, so each time I asked the people who had come around to the spot if it was okay that we keep trying to get a good take, and they said "yes please!" It was pretty neat.
