Wish I’d been with you here on W-man Dr.! I lived only about five miles from there for over 20 years and I have spent hours in that store. Found good bargains for all of the family.

Hey Lynette!! You can "ramble" all you want, I so enjoy just watching whatever you are sharing with us!! I stop to watch you between work at home and taking care of our children. The copper pan was amazing, I think you could use that year around. I could see it filled with wheat in for fall, hanging decor, full of succulents like you said, or a catch all anywhere. You are such an encouragement because of your authentic and sweet spirit. Have a great day!!

Jill Sprecher - agreeing! And the copper pan was my favorite too. It could be used for so many pretty or festive centerpieces on a dining room table.
I alway wash and dry ( in the dryer) . All fabrics before I sew anything. Even all trim. Just throw it in a mesh bag .
I had a friend learn the hard way. She made curtains, added trim. But. She didn’t wash and dry everything first.
So months later , when she decided to wash and dry them. After she took them out of the dryer, she realized that all the trim had shrunk. So a big lesson learned.😮
She cracks me up. I love her so much. How did I not see this video until now?
I would use the wicker basket as a hamper for my "delicates", tights, nylons etc.
I have one simular on the laundry shelf.

I am a married , working full time going to grad school mom with a 4 year old and one on the way . I am not religious at all ( opposite actually ) and from the outside would think we have nothing in common. However , you are so nice to watch . I love how relatable you are as you are not like other youtube stay at home moms who are very showey and materialistic. It’s very refreshing to watch you . I feel as if we lived closer together I would want to befriend you. It’s funny because our views on religion and one working full time and one not wouldn’t make sense but - I feel people always have things to learn from others ! Keep up the good work sweet momma

Yes! I love thrifted sheets and curtains. They make the best skirts and blouses! They always have interesting patterns and colors to choose from. I love making a unique piece on a budget. 😁

Yep, the basket is my favorite too. It’s nice to have time to yourself to dig for good deals. I don’t get that very often but I do enjoy it when it happens. I think I would have to have picked up those little blue dishes. I love graphic tees. Wearing one from The Loft that has “Books & Coffee” on the upper left side. Thanks so much for sharing your haul. I am pretty much confined to my house and I LOVE watching videos of people going thrifting. I guess I live vicariously through all of you who can get out and about. I enjoyed watching this haul and don't beat yourself up for unknowingly paying $12.00 for a shirt that you thought was $2.00. I think probably everyone of us has made a similar mistake.

I can't believe how long I spend in a store when I'm alone too. I go slowly and really look at everything. Nice haul - sorry about that price mix up. I've been there and it's not a good feeling.

Okay, so loved your finds! And my thrift store is the same way. Sometimes they have amazing deals and others the prices are through the roof. Our favorite thrift store has started to raise their prices on the “sought after” items, which makes me sad. 😭😭 I love the blue top for you!

Valley Thrift off Woodman Dr. is my absolute favorite thrift store. Village is hit and miss for me.

I enjoyed watching your haul. I love thrifting and wished I could find more clothing options than I do. I wear plus sizing. I know I have donated a lot of plus size clothing over the years, and you would think I could find things, but not so much. I have a hard time finding tops. Every now and then I luck up, but not often. I DO love thrifting items for my home as well. You got some really cute things and I love the copper tray. I was thinking succulents too when you first showed it. You have a couple of great thrift stores to shop in.

Good idea! Although I find it’s hard to for sure get the fit right when I order clothes so that can be a bit of a drawback. But it’s still a great alternative..
Lynette Yoder I deal with the same thing, but sometimes the plus size selection in local thrift stores is really limited to what I consider “old lady clothes” (lol) or clothes that don’t really fit my personal convictions for modesty. Sticking with brands I’m familiar with is helpful though in finding a good fit, and the selection online is much bigger!

LUVED all your finds!! :)) I have found a few of those anthropology mugs in goodwill (several times some initials & some not) and I have picked them up in initials of my friends, take them home clean them and send to friends at Christmas with a pack of gourmet coffee! Makes a wonderful gift! ;) UGH that totally stinks about the Nike pullover. But hey, you can always try to resell it when the boys are done w/ it for more than $2.00 lol. Our goodwill sells kids clothes 5t & under for $2.00 (flat pricing) So when we're are done with it, I always sell it on the local mommy facebook pages and usually make more than the $2.00 I originally paid. ;) oh.....and I also LUV your coffee Tee!! ;))))

It makes me mad sometimes to see how they price stuff so wacky, it seems when they see a logo they hike the price up no matter the condition. I did a similar mistake the other day at GW and over spent because of an item. I’m sure your boys will get good use out of the sweatshirt 😊
Yea exactly! It stinks - and certain stores also mark to the home goods decor items that are considered ‘better’ items. Which is really annoying too😏
The thrift store prices there are SHOCKING, you are going to adore the goodwill prices in Sarasota... Half and more these !! Big one on Honore, and enormous one with a goodwill outlet attached in North Port well worth the trip.
