Just bought the same one a couple of weeks ago from lidl. I've not taken it out of the box yet. I also bought a couple of their 5" angle grinders for under £20 each. Oh and while I was at it, I bought their belt sander. There are some good deals to be had at lidl's but you really do have to keep your eyes open for when these goodies come along. Thanks for the upload by the way, it was your upload that gave me the confidence to go out and buy the parkside plasma cutter. Cheers dude 👍😜
The grinders are garbage - they die very fast. Their "Performance" line stuff is generally pretty damn good. Just don't waste time on the grinders.. 20 quid is too much when the on-switch carks after a week. Which they all do.
oh..thats pretty impressive... actually way more than i expected from this small built in compressor. I think the practical limit of the thing, using it "stand alone" is around 6mm steel. I own a plasmacutter for 6 years now. Probably i would use it more, if there would not be the hassle of hooking it up to external compressed air supply... I think, i will pull the trigger and get one from Parkside. Fell free, to visit my channel and thanks for uploading..... Greets from Germany.

@@the_famous_reply_guy I agree, rated power of the arc itself is around 2kW, same as electric kettle, inefficiency is the rest ~500 watts. But I haven't tried it practically, my friend bough one but we only tried it on lowest power so far.. Next time I'll try to get power measuring device to know the real input power.
Amperage info for the different materials would be very useful... Or did you go on 40A all the way? ... For those who ask the price, it is somewhere below 200 EUR.
Hi, Could you tell me what diameter the airline that comes with the Euro connector is please. I lost my one and can't find a replacement for it. Thanks
Was looking at one in our local Lidl store but it said on the side of the box that it needed to be used together with a compressor. Is that a different model being sold by Lidl ?
That's the green one. Parkside has two tiers of tools, green for DIYers, and a black/red "performance" line like this plasma cutter. The performance line are higher end with better components, it's where they sell their brushless motor tools.
Hi, I didn't see you use the "training wheels" in the video. Have you tried using them at all ? Mine cuts fine while dragging, but with the wheels on, because the tip is not touching the workpiece the arc does not strike at all. And with the wheels on I can't make it touch at all to start the arc, so they seem fairly useless. Any suggestions ? Cheers
Isn't the wheel (aka spacer) for pilot plasma, the machines with 4 outputs where the 4th has a wire attached and allows you to operate without touching the metal. This Parkside machine requires contact with the metal before it ignites. A pilot IGBT plasma cutter is the norm now from what I understand so I would back away and just wait till Parkside (Lidl) release version 3 or something like that.
How thick of a sheet metal you can cut with 40 Amps please and it could be used on regular house hold's 220 volts please?? your response would be highly appreciated....SIR GEE
Very good presentation, no talk hands on explanation.. learned all i needed to know
Glad you liked it
If u want to cutter thicker steel use an external more powerful compressser to blow the cut away with more air power
Yes

Sir can we use plasma cutter while other person is welding same section of metal
Can’t beat a nice bit of plasma
Do you need to wear eye protection> if so, what sort?
Can you cut through painted surfaces?
Yes you need protection
After 10 uses stopped working. Nice when working.

What's the best way or with what, to smoothen the rough cut ends?
You would be lucky to find one of these,I went to 5 lidl's ,waste of time.
Hi, Do this Parkside plasma need a special electric supply as it looks to me working on 40A it would soon trip the normal UK 32A supply
Yes, it does elude to this in it instructions, I bought one yesterday, I won't be using it until my new garage is built in a few months time.
I don't think it uses 9.6kw on a UK plug. It's probably 2500 Watts, around 10+ amps

This is 40A in device, not in your house supply. If device have around 50V internal x 40A= 2000W: 220V= 9A usage from your house supply.
