- Built this custom "Irish Pub" type bar for a client who happen to be at my house fixing my water meter, when he saw mine, and wanted one of his own. Now he does.

Very nice. Built my outdoor bar/kitchen 5 years ago. Now planning on indoor bar this summer.
This is exactly what I was looking for. Nice bar.
Thanks!!!
Nice bar set up, gave me a few ideas for what I wanna do. I really like the magnets underneath the bottle opener, clever idea.
Appreciate that, thank you!
Are you selling the bar build blueprint?
@@The34bojax unfortunately I did this back before I was making plans. But each bar definitely has different dimensions depending on the room it's going in. You can contact me directly and I'll be happy to send over the info I do have, like where I got certain parts and general sizes etc. Basically help on any way I can.
damn nice job!
She was so pumped when the magnet worked lol. Very nice build.
I was wondering if anyone else caught that, haha. Thank you!
Yeah. I seen her jumping for joy. Lol. She’s a hottie!
Nice!
Bravo!
That looks amazing! That’s some good work. Do you have the bar plans? I would like to build one as well.
Unfortunately I don't :( This was before I started making actual plans. But if you really are interested in building one like this, feel free to send me an email and I can give you as much good info as possible to help you out. - kfavakeh@gmail.com
Hey! Love this bar and would like to do something like this in my home. Would it be too much to ask for your plans for this build? I’m a little inexperienced and would like to cut down on as many mistakes as possible lol
So unfortunately, I did this back before I was making plans. But send me an email, and I'll be happy to respond with some of the details in how I did it to help you with your build.
Very impressive. Its given me ideas for my own. What wood did you use for the top and how did you merge the corning wood together?
It's oak plywood on top. I merged the corners by mitering with the miter saw then using glue and screws underneath
Awesome work!!! Was that little vent on the backside toward the end for the mini fridge?? Looking to install one myself but don’t wanna pony up for a more expensive built in model.
Yes it was! You definitely don't need to buy the more expensive front venting fridges. As long as there's some sort of ventilation out the back. You could even just leave a few inches of space and that's it. But we wanted to push it as far in as possible. So I bought a $15 vent, cut a hole, and created some easy ventilation.
love the countertop... I used your concept for the making of my top... picked up the bar rail as well... I think I did mine backwards... I built a knee wall, drywalled it and now I'm not sure how to attach the 1/2 and 3/4 plywood to one another and the knee wall... any ideas? I don't want to tear it apart.. ugh....also how did you attach the bar rail to the plywood? thanks!
HI! Not exactly sure what you mean by "Knee Wall". Do you have access to underneath of the bar top from the back? I actually used two 3/4" plywoods for my top. The bottom a cheap one, and the top a nice Oak one. I used glue and 1 1/4" screws from the bottom to attach the bar rails. If you want to email me, I can send over more detailed info with illustrations on how I did it - kfavakeh@gmail.com
Is the oak edging of the bar easy to find? Looks great!
I got them from here: www.hardwoodsincorporated.com/product-category/hardwoods-bar-rail/
Great build! How much did this run you approximately?
Thanks!!! It’s hard to recall but I’d say around $300 for all the wood needed, including the oak bar top. However, that doesn’t include the arm rails, which had to be specially ordered. Those came to about another $400 or so.
nice !! how much did you spend on materials ? just curious looking to build one , Don
This was before I started making plans and really keeping track of that stuff unfortunately. But I remember the lumber for the framing, including the oak plywood, running around $300 or so. But this was also before the surge in wood prices. The oak trim on the base, and the arm rails, are a lot more expensive. If you are interested in making one, email me and I'll be happy to send you more precise information to help you out 😊
I am loving your work and the layout. So I have a question as to the would used on the top front edge for the arm rest. Where was that purchased through?
www.kegworks.com/bar-rails/shop-by-part/bar-rail-moulding/
I got them here. Chose red oak to match the top I used. Hope that helps!

Thank You
Why the chipmunkesque EDM? Otherwise great build.
Haha...I tried something outside box I guess
ignore the name...what did you use to hold down the bar top ?
Haha...that definitely made me laugh.
So the top is made of two sheets of plywood that equal to 1 1/2" thick together. So I used 1 1/4" screws to secure the top, from underneath, to the frame of the bar.
What is that molding trim called and where can i get some?
Bar rails - www.hardwoodsincorporated.com/product-category/hardwoods-bar-rail/
Where did you get the oak slab for the bar top?
It's not an oak slab. It's actually just oak plywood, laid onto another sheet of plywood. You can actually see me doing it in the video.
@@KFCustomWoodworks awesome - looks great!
What is the type of moulding called?
Chicago Bar Rails - www.hardwoodsincorporated.com/product-category/hardwoods-bar-rail/
Can u share the measurements
So for this particular bar, if you are referring to the bar top, the length of the long side of the "L" shape was 7.5 ft long while the short side was 5 ft. The depth of the top was 24". While the height of the whole thing was 42" (standard bar height). Hope that helps 😊
Where do you live?
