God delivered me from porn addiction in 2020 and when that happened that's when I decided to give my life fully to Christ, decided to get baptized in Jesus name and I got filled with the Holy Ghost and my life was never the same again
I had a similar experience I was introduced to pornography at a young age and I got filled with the Holy Ghost and baptized in Jesus name and it changed my life.
The same is true for me too. God delivered me totally from porn addiction in 2020 and then I got baptized in Jesus name and filled with the Holy Ghost. Now the process of what they are talking about re-wiring the brain has taken some years but with God’s grace and mercy I have been renewed.
It is with great thankfulness for the openness of our leadership to speak about this subject. IMHO, it is easier for a drug addict (et. al) to be delivered and saved than it is for anyone that is caught up in illicit sexual things. Drugs, etc. are external, sex is God-given. I knew an apostolic man who prayed a prayer to Jesus to purposefully quit porn whether he would get to marry or not marry. He kept his word and Jesus opened the door for him to marry. He took council from the church leadership through it, but sadly, years later when it was no longer a good thing to stay with that body, his past was thrown back in his face. Thankfully he did not backslide but found another Oneness pastor willing to accept him.
I understand your sentiment but that does not work that easily for everybody. Some people need more help than others to have a complete deliverance. Jesus delivered me in one prayer from being a 1 carton-in-in 3-days cigarette smoker, but it has taken me longer to "get over" other things. Plus, they have to be willing to want to be delivered and willing to make conscious choices everyday for complete deliverance.
I love this Bro. Urshan!!! I had a conversation with my Pastor on this subject. It changed my life. When Jesus said whoso looks on a woman to lust after has committed adultery in his heart. I had always thought that was for judgement, but no Pastor explained it is grounds for divorce!
Please be Praying for Bro Hugh Vess. He is in Hospice Now and he isn't eating anything or Drinking anything. He sleeps all of the time. Please be Praying also for SIS Margaret Vess And Their Families also. Thank You Sis Linda Hood 🙏
Wonderful teaching as always, but if I may ask a question: why does the apostolic church nor recognize that temptations that are strong enough to cause unnatural addictions are very possibly demonic or spiritual in nature? After 50 plus years in the Pentecostal church (Baptist before that) I have never seen a pastor or evangelist cast out an unclean spirit. I have, unfortunately, seen hundreds of people who couldn't get the help they needed throw their hands in the air and leave church because their lives were still bound.
You need to earnestly pray & seek God's leading to bring you into fellowship with Powerful, Humble, ANOINTED, Apostolic men & woman that .. YES have & are Doing this. Not by power, gifting, technology of man... But by & through HIS SPIRIT! If you have no one perhaps YOU will become that humble, available vessel for God to work through.
Not making light because certainly the struggles are real. I know from experience that when we genuinely repent with God then he absolutely goes to working with us. I also know a few things about casting out devils... if the individuals are not sincerely repented than them devils are not coming out. I've been around folks who pulled at your heart strings and had real issues. However the Holy Ghost let me know that they were not sincere. They didn't want their affliction but had some sins that they weren't ready to confront, if you know what I'm saying. And lastly we cannot confuse flesh with demonic possession. You simply cannot cast out flesh. Bad behavior is part of bad decisions.
@@stantheman238 bear in mind, though, that Paul the apostle was demonically oppressed. The "thorn in the flesh" was described by him as a "messenger from Satan". Messenger equals angel or spirit. It confuses me as to why the apostolic church denies Jesus' word, because it was he who said "These signs shall follow those who believe: in my name shall they cast out devils, they shall speak with new tongies". We emphasize the tongues and completely ignore the deliverance.
@ERLong-ww7yn Paul was oppressed, but not possessed so therefore he has to work out his salvation and not cast the devil out of himself. I feel you are not separating oppression from possession. I would say that casting out demonic spirits does take place today. I'm 100% Apostlic but I would venture to say that other denominations are doing it also by faith in the name.
@stantheman238 I definitely know the difference between oppression and possession. I was a victim of a spirit of fear for 20 years. I was filled with the Holy Ghost, baptized in Jesus name, spoke in tongues, played music in the church, taught Sunday school, assisted with youth ministry, and had a spirit that only came out because I was counseled and prayed with by a man disfellowshipped by the UPC for performing deliverance ministry as Jesus taught.

Every man has been tempted by our lusts. Thank you for touching on this subject. A must listen for every man.
Mercy Lord. Help us men!
