Hi everyone! Thank you so much for watching our first video in the Tokyo vlog series. I apologize for the audio at the end - we were so sad to realize our mistake. We hope you enjoy this series, this trip really meant the world to us 🫶🏼
OK this was so much fun to watch but my favorite line (and one only those who know understand because in the US it would just feel weird) was the line "we stopped at our first 7 Eleven . . .". Gosh darn it, Ivie, now I want to go back!
How exciting!!! I do plan on doing a recap video, but I do already have some of this info. If you checkout the Japan playlist, there is a planning video and in the first Tokyo Disneyland vlog I have vacation package info. More to come once the series wraps! But I’m always happy to answer questions.
Lovely to see that analog Seiko clock. Almost art deco. I’m blinded by the white sneakers you guys wear! What’s your secret? ;). I want an update at the end of the trip as to sneaker whiteness status.
Oooh, I’ll have to look! I heard they had some of the drinks we liked, but I don’t remember if there was a freezer case there. We will be back in EPCOT in January 😊
How was your overall experience flying delta premium select? Would you pick bulkhead seats again? Was there anything you didn’t like about Premium Select?
We LOVED our bulkhead seats. I had enough room to get around AJ while he was sleeping, which was great. It was also nice to be in a 2 configuration and not have anyone next to either one of us. I do wish the TV was on the wall instead of in the seat, but it wasn’t an issue. We flew bulkhead there and did not do bulkhead on our way to Hawaii. While it was nice to have our bags accessible, it was noticeably less space. The power move is having something soft sided to pull down from the overhead to use as an ottoman. I was so cozy the entire flight! It does require some strategic packing to have things you need immediately for the flight in a pouch to pull out of your bag since you have to out everything in the overhead for takeoff and landing. I would do it again. But while I was extremely comfortable, part of me wishes I saved the miles to be able to book a second trip. 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
@ omgoodness thank you for responding and with such a thorough answer, I didn’t think you would. I’m glad now that I booked the bulkhead seats for my family trip. Just one other question if I may, would a small crossbody bag fit into the little storage space by the seat? I have meds so have to have on hand, so don’t really want to put them overhead. I love that you went to Japan, I’ve been a few times and loved exploring the temples 🙂
The front pouch is VERY tight. The only thing I was able to fit in it is the slippers they give you - which then I hung the headphones from, so that was handy! In the seat you do have a smallllll storage space in the arm rest. It’s maybe 1” wide. We were able to fit our tablets and the amenity pouch they give you. Once we were in the air AJ pulled down my bag and I had it the whole flight, so I wasn’t without my items for long.

HA! They were freshly washed before the trip - and didn’t do too bad! I did spray mine with waterproofing, just to help keep the dirt wipeable.
Do you think they have that 7-11 ice cream sandwich at the Japan Pavilion?
